Thanks for the review. I've just unwrapped the humidifier and poured water in the large cylinder tank, and all the water got spilled from the holes. I have no idea how to start using it, it's sad that you omited the "getting started" part.
That happened to me too, seems to be pretty common that that happens, I also didnt really understand what that meant on the info about removing foam, maybe a more visual guide would be good for this🤷
I was thinking of buying one for my mom, which she will use in her kitchen. It's around 40-50square meters, ~35% humidity. She has experience with smart stuff, like using an app for Roborock vacuum robot, but can she use it without the app? Just to maintain the humidity above 40%?
I've got it for her and she seemed happy with it's performance:) I actually wanted to do a setup with an app, but she didn't let me haha. Right now it's just set to constant second lowest speed and the humidity is monitored by a separate hygrometer.
Because i bought *lite* version there is no app or wi-fi. So I have nooo idea how mutch I can use this think. how mutch do I need. Can I ran it like 24/7 or only a couple of hours a day? There is nothing for that in the manual. If anyone knows plz add a comment. Thx
If i turn it off and on it of does it remember settings? If it is running and it loses power will it continue running when power comes back?

You only need to remove the foam..It also happen to me but it no longer leak after removing the foam..
@yuki48121 Thank you. But in this case I don't understand why they put the foam in the first place)
Its some sort of protection while the device is in transit I think

Do you have to put normal water or distilled?
Distilled
Distilled. If you use normal watter you will get white dust settling on furniture and floors.
@@unboxerino that sucks, you have to constantly buy or make distilled
You can also put in cola it gives a nice smell to my apartment
Do you heat the water before pouring it?
No, the water remains cold at all times.
@@unboxerinodoes ir create dust in the water tank?
@@stx7389nope

Is it possible to switch off all lights during the night?
Yes! via the Xiaomi app you can switch the lights and sound off
How reset the wifi
What do you want to do? If you restart without changing the configuration, just turn it off for 2-5 mins then turn it on
With the Xiaomi app
@@unboxerino I am totally lost. What is your modem brand? Also, are we talking about the modem or are we talking about other devices?

A separate humidity sensor should be used to maintain the humidity between 40-60%.
