The question remains, what can one read (anywhere) that would make the killing of an apostate OK ? Is this story true, I think not, apostasy can get you killed, so why risk it by telling those who might kill you, (if not them others). Or if it is true you will never know if the claimed change of heart was out of fear of being killed.......................... Belief of anything is only possible if it is believable and it is only believable if it makes sense. If you believe in Allah made you, then you will also believe Allah gave you the five senses and a brain for a reason. What do you do when those attributes contradict a man that lived 1400 years ago? How is it hard to follow islam? I will honestly tell u what's hard..living a life without islam. These people who depart from Islam because of biology or chemistry is such misfortune. Since studying science at degree level, my imaan has only been strengthened. Even mathematics, surely if Allah did not create the universe in any order, then we would not be able to make predictions using maths. But Allah has made everything easy and tangible, for us to use an explore. To a person with an soft heart and open mind, these evidences are clear.

We need a re-Islamization of Science, i.e we need our Brothers and Sisters to become prominent scientists while simultaneously knowing their religion properly, and using one to prove the other.
Science was Islamized in the middle Ages, And now we need a re-Islamization of it.

We need to read the Book of Allah more. The transformation will be much faster than expected. it took the sister three weeks. it took Joshua evans three nights. It took Umar ibn Al-Khattab minutes before he was convinced. Even the jinns who passed by the Prophet SA just once, converted after hearing it.
The life of the Prophet SA can't be ignored, either. As it was said, "His character was the Qur'aan."

One of my friends stopped believing. I have tried a lot to convince him but he is very stubborn. And whenever I tried to talk with him about Quran, He uses very bad words on Quran, Prophet Mohammad (sm) and his companions. It makes me very angry and at the same time, I feel guilty that I can't convince him.
It is fine, dude. In the end, the One Who decide is Allah. It is fine to feel guilty, and I hope you've gone over that guilt
He is aware of his doing, you have tried your best to convince him, now it's up to him to decide to abandon his faith or to continue learning and following Islam.

Actually the more you study science the more proof you have of the power of Allah swt, studying science is studying the creation of Allah swt and the more you learn the more you'll discover things that can't exist just by chance
It effects people in different ways. Science can work for you or go against you. For me science has bought me closer to Allah SWT. Islam has answered so many questions in regards to astronomy and the universe etc allhumdullilah.

I was in the state of this girl, never been really taught rather be told this is haram this this and this without me knewing the basic, I questioned until the will of investigating Quran came (I can't speak Arab) so after only reading without knowing the meaning I decided to find the translation and guess what, all my doubt all my question suddenly gone, in Quran Allah talk to His Servants in the way that only both of us knew, it absorbed til the deepth of my heart and yes we need to re open it to feed our Iman . Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “The example of a believer is that of a fresh tender plant; from whatever direction the wind comes, it bends it, but when the wind becomes quiet, it becomes straight again. Similarly, a believer is afflicted with calamities (but he remains patient till Allah removes his difficulties.) And an impious wicked person is like a pine tree which keeps hard and straight till Allah cuts (breaks) it down when He wishes.”

Situations in Which Gheebah (“Backbiting”) is Permitted
I thought you guys should be informed about this, so here it is.
The scholars have stated that gheebah is permitted in certain situations:
Complaining. It is permissible for the one who has been wronged to complain to the ruler or judge and others who have the authority or ability to settle the score with the one who wronged him.
Seeking help to change evil and bring the sinner back to the right path, so he may say to the one who he hopes is able to do something: “So and so is doing such and such; tell him not to do it.”
Seeking advice or a fatwa (religious ruling), by saying to the mufti (scholar), “So and so/my father/my brother has wronged me by doing such and such, does he have the right to do that? How can I solve this problem and ward off his harm from me?”
Warning the Muslims of someone’s evil, such as highlighting the weakness of some reporters or witnesses or authors. That also includes seeing someone buying faulty goods, or someone keeping company with one who is a thief or adulterer, or giving a female relative of his to such a man in marriage, and the like wise. You should tell them about that by way of sincere advice, not with the aim of causing harm and spreading mischief.
If a person openly commits evil or follows bid’ah (innovation), such as drinking alcohol and seizing people’s wealth unlawfully, it is permissible to speak of what he is doing openly, but it is not permissible to speak against him any other way, unless it is for another reason.
For identification, if someone is known by a nickname such as the dim-sighted one, or the blind man or the one-eyed or the lame one, it is permissible to identify him as such, but it is haraam (impermissible) to mention that by way of belittling him, and if it is possible to identify him in some other way, that is better.
It says in Fatawa al-Lajnah al-Daimah li’l-Ifta: Speaking about a person in his absence is permissible in certain situations as indicated by shar’I Islamic legal) evidence, if there is a need for that, such as if someone consults you about arranging a marriage to him, or entering into a business partnership with him, or if someone complains to the authorities to put a stop to his wrongdoing. In that case there is nothing wrong with saying things about him that he may not like to be said, because there is an interest to be served by that. One of the scholars summed up in two lines of poetry the situations in which it is permissible to talk about a person in his absence, and said:
Criticizing is not gheebah in six (cases) - complaining, identifying, warning, When the person is committing evil openly, when advice is sought, and when one is asking for help in removing an evil.
And Allah knows best.

Those who are condenming the video because of scientific knowledge : I think you miss the whole point. Its about reading Quran and Life of Prophet PBUH as fundamental knowledge and then carrying scientific knowledge is fine. But if the focus becomes world only, then its trouble. Some people say that science has strengthen their eman, that's possible if we look at science through knowledge of Islam. Without the foundation, without practising/ reminding , science alone cannot help. As stephaine hawking or einstien were better scientists :)
The more i read about science, the more i become amazed by the creation of Allah. For example how accurately Quran describes 14 centuries ago how Allah created the universe and later on when scientists discovered how the universe was created, they called it "Big bang"!!

Beautiful talk. I think the problem, especially for Muslims who live in the West or heavily secular countries...we have very little exposure to Islam. When you do have a little exposure to Islam, it's usually something negative portrayed in the media(movie, radio, news, etc.).

Get up at the middle of the night if you are able brother and pray the night prayer and you’re life will completely change. If you are unable to wake up in the middle of the night, than pray your night prayer after you pray your Isha prayer. Inshallah you will feel the love tremendously when you practice this.
ITS TRUE totally true.... perhaps in western country that Islam that finally become widely known TRUELY (it was not) the process understanding dienul islam can start properly and correctly (from the basic, Aqidah, syariah, akhlaq, muamalah, and so on) , BUT sadly, in the country that basically ISLAM as its major dien (religion) , it happen otherwise.... If not same, perhaps approximately my life experience is the same as our sister in this story....(i'll make it short) I had been studying in islamic school since I was kindergarten to 9 class (Middle school) , BUT all the school was teaching me is mostly about History, syariah, akhlaq, just in THEORY, BUT, not about aqidah.... aqidah was only a lesson to be memorized, not understand. We're not be taught about PRACTICING the life of our prohpet and the law in Islam. Believe it or not, in my almamater, there're NOT a single girl that wear hijab... even the skirt is only a bit bellow the knee.... So many thing horrible result from this "mistake".... What our brother said in this video is true... I almost lost my faith when i'm in high school, but thanks to ALLAH Subhanahuwataala, alhamdulillah, HE still grant me HIS hidayah that i can finally understand my dien and hijrah from my recent lifestyle. WHAT I DID ? exactly as brother in this video said, LEARN THE SCRIPTURE (Al QURAN) , learn its magnificent nature, you will know Islam is the TRUE RELIGION from the Almighty, then know ALLAH and Rasulullah SAW, the rest will follow..... and know what is funny ? Teaching Islam needs to be FREE so everyone can access it. Instead, they charge exuberant fees so a few get educated. Islam should not be a business! As a revert to Islam, I found this is extremely disappointing, other religions, for the most part, do not do this.
I believe in Allah and the last prophet. One question for brother and sisters, why is it that us Muslims are suffering? Why isn't Allah helping the poor, the hungry and every Muslim who's in hardship? The more think about this the more I lose hope, any help?

Brother Walaihi you are right. So many of Muslims have abandoned the Quran, not reading it , not reading anything about Islam, not listening Islamic preaching most times but just following worldly gains
so you started to lose faith just because of learning science? how about those scientists especially born not as Muslim but found Islam through science studies, where their findings grows curiosity in finding what life is and that it has a Creator, all related? but i agree that Quran and Hadith with Sirah authenticity is undeniable once you start practicing on knowledge. words passed, stories passed regardless came from hundreds or thousands of years, but what's truth always has its real absorption and Allah is eternal. but what i'm trying to question is that isn't this not merely matter of knowledge, but faith as well? it takes faith to defend something and to adopt something. it takes faith to be more considerate before concluding something about pathway. i'm saying faith as in, this is for a person born and raised Muslim with Islamic practices. unless you never had it on, how can you just think to drop all you had on. knowledge is the physical importance, but sure does it has to include its essence, the spiritual factor, the core, which is the heart.

i entered in the field of physics after reading Quran... the more i read Quran the more clearer physics became to me...
All knowledge comes from Allah and only He can unveil it for loan if He chooses to. As a student of knowledge, my journey to complete my doctorate in strengthen my faith. In knowledge, I find the signs of God's existence every where... It's hard to miss, only arrogant will think that all these creation exist by just a mere coincidence especially when there is a clear pattern that all of the designs are consistent even if it isn't, it will also traces back to the same equations that build the foundation necessary for a perfect design.
God says in His Book Holy Quran Chapter 3, verse 191, "Who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire."🌷

I think my cousin is slowly becoming atheist. Whenever we talk he suddenly says some scientific stuff and says how religion doesn't make sense sometimes. I try to talk to him about it but he doesn't understand.
Well try to open his bloody eyes and he will see the truth that Islam is the correct religion! If that doesn't work then, tell him to read the Quran. If that doesn't work as well then, ask him if he believes in God. If all these fail, then you can't really do anything about it unless there's a Jinn inside him then, ask a imam to do an exorcism on him. Surely he will "AAAAROOOEUEUEUUEUEGGGEERRRR, ALLAHU AKBAR!!!" done solution fix!

G-d spoke directly to Moses hence we have the Torah, G-d spoke to Muhammad s.a.w. through the Angel Gabril a.s. hence we have the Al Qur'an. Hence to me both religion carries the truth but majority of both followers of both religions is fighting each other and breaking the LAWS OF G-D! Yet both pray and bow to the same G-d! For me, I follow the Torah but respect the Al Qur'an too!

This guy absolutely has no basis for his argument. He doesn't say the exact reason why and what scientific evidence the sister had for leaving Islam in the first place and what exact evidence that the sister found in the Quran that contradicted her scientific evidence and knowledge in the first place. OH AND BY THE WAY RELIGION AND SCIENCE DO NOT MIX!!!!!!!!!! this is because religion is about faith and science is all about finding solid evidence and facts that are proven and tangible.
No other scripture or text, religious or otherwise even scratches the surface of the status and soothing nature of Al-Qur'aan Al-Kareem, Qur'aan Al-Majeed, Qur'aan Al-Adheem.
If it was from anyone else besides Allah SWT, it would have had many errors & contradictions and it would not have the status and soothing nature that is has. If it was from anyone besides the Greatest, Allah SWT, it would have been corrupted BUT The Greatest, Allah SWT Guarantees to guard it from corruption and that is plenty of evidence for a true believer and a rational human being with logic & intellect, believer or not.
May Allah guide humanity to the path He, Allah SWT is most happy with and keep us steadfast and Ya Allah, please forgive our minor and major sins, Aameen. Ya Allah, please do not let us leave this world without Islam in our heart, mind, body, soul and surroundings, Aameen. Last year, I met a 12th standard boy living in a Muslim country, his parent were Christians but he was an atheist. He asked : "Don't you know about evolution. Then how can you say that Adam and Eve were the first human beings? "
The biggest disaster in the Ummah today is knowing the basics of the religion. And the evidence upon the Muslims is the fact that the Quran says "Verily, I am going to place a caliph on the Earth." This means that Allah chooses the leader, as was the case since the beginning of time when Allah swt chose Adam, and Adam had sons from his lineage chosen by Allah swt.
And likewise, the Prophets and Messengers have left Wills on who to follow after they pass away or in their absence, as can be seen in the Quran when Moses appoint Aaron, and David appoints Soloman and so on.
So what about the case with the Ummah and the passing away of the Prophet? Would Allah swt leaves his creatures unguided without a leader? Of course not as it goes against wisdom. Hence Quran and Sunnah is not enough as a guidance!
Search the web and you will find that Muhammad also left a Will for this Ummah, as this Will is a guidance and mercy to this Ummah and protection from hellfire.
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but how could this sister turn away from Islam in the first place? After all, the Qur'an does have numerous scientific references. And this could not have been written by man, because the Arabs at the time (including Rasulullah pbuh) had no knowledge of the things stated in the Qur'an
Its a problem all the youth face. We find ourselves in a Muslim family, or in an islamic society and we dont know why are we Muslims. It wasnt from our own experience or choice, that s how we ve found ourselves. Our parents, schools should teach us first why I have to be a Muslim and not how or what should I do. That's the main problem!
How anyone can disbelieve by achiveing so small knowledge?! Don't they think that we will never ever able to gain the knowledge of whole universe? We are in a pixle of an image .. Only Allah can see the whole image who created everything... that why people tell, "A little learning is dengerous thing."
May Allah show everyone the right path........

But Allah only says that he has protected and preserved the 'Quran' not hadith so what happens if the information in the hadith is forged?
thats why ahadeeth are graded. ie if they are saheeh or not meaning if they are true or not
