Marvolo Gaunt's Ring was an heirloom of the House of Gaunt, descendants of Salazar Slytherin and Cadmus Peverell. It is a gold ring inset with a black stone (actually the Resurrection Stone, but neither Marvolo Gaunt nor Lord Voldemort were aware of its existence) engraved with what Marvolo Gaunt called the Peverell coat of arms (having come into the Gaunt line from an heiress of the Peverells, not the Slytherin family), which is actually the symbol of the Deathly Hallows. The signet ring passed through the male Gaunts, generation to generation, until it was stolen from Morfin Gaunt by Tom Riddle while Tom framed Morfin for the murders of the Riddle family.
While at Hogwarts, Tom openly wore the ring. He later made the ring into his second Horcrux. Tom did not enchant the ring right away, as he was seen wearing it while asking Horace Slughorn about Horcruxes, as seen through Slughorn's memories in a pensieve.
In 1996, Albus Dumbledore retrieved the ring, eventually destroying it with Godric Gryffindor's Sword. It was touching this ring that bewitched albus Dumbledore’s hand He had to call Severus Snape, who was able to give him a potion to seal the curse in his hand, but Severus Snape told albus that the curse word eventually kill him. That is what led to Albus, asking Severus to kill him instead of allowing an innocent boy to kill him, breaking his soul into pieces besides, when albus Dumbledore spared Severus Snape’s life, Severus promised to do anything Dumbledore said, for the protection of lily Potter, and in the end continued for the protection of Harry Potter. The only thing he had left of Lily potter his only love.

Hilarious video! Loved the thought and creativity put into this. Acting out the scenes afterwards! So funny! The team is really killing it on production value. The costumes and green screen backgrounds really take it to another level.
Spoilers They forgot that: 1. Dumbledore wore the cursed ring and was going to die. 2. Dumbledore and Harry flew I think on brooms to the Astronomy tower from the cave where the locket was in. In the book I think Harry and Dumbledore aperated to the cave and then to the Astronomy tower.
you can't apparate in or out of the castle, in the book they apparated from the cave to hogsmeade then i think they borrowed brooms from rosmerta to fly to the tower

@@fabujestic remember the shield that block anything from going in and out was remove. plus you can use the spell to get in and out of the place but you can only go so far before you have to move out of the shield.

I just want to thank you and the dope or nope cast, I've been watching since it was just Matt, and I can distinctly remember being in 5th grade and coming back home from school after being bullied and just having a ball watching this silly yet unique type of content. I wasn't a big fan of Tanner for a longgg time. Over the years, he kinda grew on me. Woods is my favorite, followed by Mathias then Tanner. Even though I'm still not crazy about him, I'm going to be sad to see him go.
