- The Australian Army’s 3rd Brigade deployed to the Townsville Field Training Area and Ingham to conduct Exercise Brolga Run. Exercise Brolga Run 2024 is a multilateral combined arms exercise involving capabilities and personnel from #youradf , @usarmy and @marines, Papua New Guinea Defence Force, and @JGSDFchannel.
Members of 3rd Combat Engineer Regiment completed construction of an underground command post during Exercise Brolga Run 2024, at Townsville Field Training Area. The design process for the 40 by 20 metre bunker started in November 2023 and construction began February 2024 during Exercise Brolga Walk.

More like relearning the lessons of the Russo-Japanese War 1904-5. I have watched a great archeological show about pumping out a WW1 British dugout from the Western Front. The construction is nearly identical to the one in this video except they used more railway tracks for reinforcement.

Pretty disappointing on the army’s part?!? No wonder recruitment numbers are down! I didn’t see any heating/cooling systems installed? And also no mention of wifi so they can connect to TikTok and instagram 😂
