If God Johnson had actually really been Lucifer's dad, I think Lucifer was well on his way to getting over a lot of his anger, based upon his reaction to the apology and God's praise while they were about to be murdered by Santa (I can't believe I just typed that sentence). But once Luci realized God Johnson wasn't really his dad, he just reverted to his unfortunate default setting of blind fury, probably exacerbated by feeling that somehow he'd been duped and humiliated once again. But for all his talk of hatred and revenge, his face when his "parents" were dancing told a very different story....

I forgot the name of it. Some short story in one of the scifi-fantasy anthology books way back in the 90s. Anyways there was a story about God and how he coped with being all knowing. Knowing everything. Past, present, future etc. He would, from time to time, make himself "normal" and live among us, without knowing everything he knew and who he was. It was his way of coping with being the only being in existence like himself and understanding his creations on their level. So maybe this TV version of God is kinda like that. Yes, he knows everything but doesn't want to ALWAYS know everything.

This moment really hits close to me. My parents separated when I was 11, and the years after that were just awful. I remember the time before that happened, seeing them together, pictures and stories of when they were young, all that love, all that happiness, and remember being angry with both for just ruining their happiness, but deep in there, I mostly sad because I just wanted us to be a family again. At this moment, related to Lúcifer more than I ever did to a fictional character.
I cried a little bit because the woman, the pretty one with the blonde hair and blue dress asked him if this was revenge, people always told me that love isn't a tell of Cinderella it must not be but his plan was.

I forgot the name of it. Some short story in one of the scifi-fantasy anthology books way back in the 90s. Anyways there was a story about God and how he coped with being all knowing. Knowing everything. Past, present, future etc. He would, from time to time, make himself "normal" and live among us, without knowing everything he knew and who he was. It was his way of coping with being the only being in existence like himself and understanding his creations on their level. So maybe this TV version of God is kinda like that. Yes, he knows everything but doesn't want to ALWAYS know everything.
