DRYER REPAIR: How to Diagnose the Light Bulb Socket on Your Dryer | FIX.com

The light bulb socket in your dryer houses the light bulb, and if it is damaged, the light bulb won't light up when the door is opened. If you've determined that your light bulb is still good, it's likely that the light bulb socket is damaged, and should be tested to determine if it needs to be replaced. This video will show you how to diagnose the light bulb socket on your dryer.
