After years of me asking you finally broadcast the Revival livestream in 60fps so at last we have video quality that does justice to this great event yet uploads like this are still in 25fps. Puzzled.
It could be they only make full-res videos available to members on the pay site. I notice that much of the content posted to youtube is time-limited as well.
@@rockets4kids I don't know but at least, finally, they've moved into the 21st Century with the livestreams. And they're better than Sky who are only broadcasting in 30 FPS.
I am pretty sure that the 250S Maserati has the new Alfieri 4.cylinder, not the Colombo 6. It also has the new space frame with rear transaxle and deDion rather than the previous Gilco ladder frame with live axle.
Then later the same commentator mentions that the "blue car" is one of the more unusual cars in the race !?! Well, if it is so unusual wouldn't it be worth mentioning that it is a Maserati !?! Duh !😮😮😮😮
No, it isnt a requirement. Modern safety requirements werent retroactive, meaning cars that don't have them in period had no obligation to use them now. The choice of using roll hoops were purely in the discretion of the owners.
This kind of racing is primarily about these fantastic older classic cars, not the drivers so much. Therefore there is no excuse for the commentators to talk about the progress (or lack thereof) of the drivers without mentioning what their cars are !?! I mean really, get the priority straight !😮😮😮
Immediately, Goodwood started to deliver the goods!!!
Yes Juan! Nice and interesting! )
Racing into the twilight with headlights blazing - reminds me of those old Le Mans posters from the 50's & 60's!
The best racing that I have seen in years. Brilliant.

@@ViN-kr3ri Sky has broadcasting F1 at 50 FPS for a while now.
@@rockets4kids I'm talking about the Revival. Have a look
@@ViN-kr3ri Aah, I didn't even know the Revival was on Sky.
Wishing that the car type was included on the leader board, along with the drivers.
Fantastic racing - FAR more interesting than NASCAR.

True!

Great racing. It's a pity the commentators seem to have so little knowledge of the cars. Many of the comments are clueless...
Yes, not very illuminating to be told just the car's number when we can see that with our own eyes.
the j2x should have a 348 CI cadillac motor or similar..
The male commentator mentions the Allard has a 6.6 liter v8 but does not say the make of the engine ( probably Cadillac). 😮
What is #74?

Fantastic racing. How come number 7 is allowed to compete without a roll-bar? Surely that should be a requirement for a racing car?

The go pros have to go along with some of those disgusting looking roll bars.
it would be nice to see these drivers dressed like the drivers in the 50s and 60s
@@fatman1288 and no seat belts, no fire marshals, and 1950s-quality medical assistance if they crash
Some of the cars have no roll bar at all. The driver would be decapitated if they crash.
