I’ve had a persistent cough for almost a year, trouble breathing and started wheezing. Non smoker. Been to the dr twice and put on 2 antibiotics, steroids, 2 inhalers, chest X-ray and still having issues. Think I’m gonna have the house tested
*Do you know if testing companies have a time frame in which they have to inform the residents of a leak? Is it legally negligent to wait almost a year?* We live on military housing in Colorado; they have done over 7 tests while we have lived here (4 years). They only JUST informed us that last winter we had a measurement of 6.9. They did two more tests after this, and still neglected to inform us of all of the test results (before and after the highest result). Thank you for this video, it put my own situation into perspective.
Would sweating be one symptom perhaps? And if there was a strong (Extreme source ) of undetected radon, could symptoms come about more rapidly, instead of 15 to 20 years???
hey :) im from germany and i just got a electronik tester. after 2 hours It says i have about 80 bq/m^3 (closed window) . I live in my room for about 15 years now. is this dangorus levels ?
There is no such thing as "radon poisoning". Radon _exposure_ is a much more appropriate term. While the symptoms described are all possible indications of lung cancer (which HAS been linked to long-term radon gas exposure in concentrations of 4.0 pCi/L), your commentary is very misleading and fear mongering...
So Not true of yours! He has completely right the Poisening is Correct. Cause Poisening begins after Exposure. I am expierence this now. As my home deliverer does Nothin about it here in the netherlands... those motherfucking bitshes in netherland dont care about Humansssssss... so the Text is Right! I feeel completely Poisened at the moment everyone in house have seizures if that isnt poisening i.either dont know too... just dont be ungratefull.. i like that he adress it. Cause almost no one knows here even what Radon is. I dont know what to doooo.... do you have tipsss?
@@linlino1980 You are incorrect. Radon gas is not a toxin, nor a poison. It is a noble gas that does not interact with our bodies. The radiation it carries can interact, but does not cause "poisoning". Additionally, there are no signs and symptoms of radon poisoning because it is a made up term and does not exist.
You're right, no such thing as radon poisoning. There is also no evidence that radon causes lung cancer. The EPA's own study relies on 53% guess work and then changing their known data to support a fictional model of what they wanted it to look like. You also cant measure Radon using meters that measure pCi/L. You are not measuring Radon at that point.
Who linked 4.0 pCi. This number came from uranium coal miners in the dumb 80s where someone measured 40 pCi/L then divided by 10 because eh that ought to be safe for houses.
