I love the Crown Vic. I had one assigned to me early in my career. It wasn’t fancy but it got the job done and never gave me problems. I miss that V8 sound.
This is hands down the best LAPD response video I have ever seen! That convoy was incredible! The Crown Vic V8 roar is just the best! Amazing catches as always!!
I worked in rural areas, both small towns and a county. Even the county agency we did not have that many deputies on duty at one time, for somewhere about 2K square miles.
i was caught up in one of these many years ago around 2004. I was stuck on Exposition Blvd and the cop cars coming from everywhere would not end. Black and whites and unmarked. That Crown Vic, must belong to a captain or something.
That one was most likely a gang unit, as they have the majority of the Crown Vics now. Most of the upper command drive unmarked cars from what I've seen.
All that back up support, all those officers, all that cost of salary, and at the end in CA they do not arrest anybody, they hold no one accountable, that’s a lot of cops who can’t arrest anyone anymore.
The first Crown Vic I worked in was a '95, then a '99, and my last was an '02. Then I went to a slick top '02 Impala, and upgraded to BMW R1200RTP on motors. For a short time I was in the behemoth 1994 Chevy Impala too. Huuuuge car. But, of all the cars, I still love the Vic the most. Ooozes police.
I’ve worked in a couple of the square body caprices and 93-2010 CVPIs when I worked security. Owned a 96 CVPI. As a cop first one I got was a 2007 CVPI, and then been in more 2005-2011 ones that were fleet I. Then for take homes my first was a 2010 Explorer in 2013. The actual real Explorer. Then in 2015 got a 2015 FPIU, 2016 got a 2017 FPIU. 2020 got a 2019 F150, and got K9 in 2021 and took my Sgts 2019 F250 and we made that into a K-9 unit since it had the less amount of miles. Out of all them I missed the Civ. We had one till about 2021 then it went to auction. I envy the departments that still have them.
Awesome when you have enough crews for proper backup! I remember years ago when our department used to be able to do this. Now they need mutual aid, fire too.
Streets in LA are so absurdly dangerous. This is a 9 lane highway with no center median and street parking and driveways on both sides. Why are we so complacent with this garbage infrastructure?
Same spot. Same awesomeness
That vic sounded awesome
Yes v8 roar

That Crown vic was moving!
Ready to help lol
Yeah, that whopping 250hp really has some gettyup!!🤣🤣🤣
Top speed 132mph😎. It’s a comforting sound to hear one coming to help you.
Wow! Those LAPD backup responses are the best
That’s a help call for all units including the ones at the station just let you know….
Love the crown Victoria such a beauty
One thing is for sure with the LAPD. If an Officer radios for backup the whole cavalry is coming.
Every unit is riding as a two-man unit. Pretty cool
Glad to see 77th still has spirit and loyalty comradely!
1:01 This is what everyone was hoping to see and hear.
Yeppp😂😂
Yes
0:17 - shots fired audio?
Legend says that that 2012 Crown Victoria P71 is still holding up to this day
It's not a 2012, all 2012's were exported to Saudi Arabia. That one was a 2006-2009 CVPI.
HAHA THANKS FOR BRINGING ME BACK TO THIS VIDEO
@@landonriley9226 why those years specifically? I know they implemented a lot of changes in 06 but who’s to say it isn’t a 10-11?
@@prestonm.64 LAPD didn't order any new cars from 2009-2013 due to a budget crisis. The newest vics are 09's.

Listen to the roar of the Crwn Vic never fails awesome catch

Here comes the Ford Explorer calvary!
Crown Vic: hold my beer 🍺 😎
Well captured.
Never thought I'd see such a great response to the local Krispy Kreme that was offering free doughnuts to LAPD officers that day.
Damn!! I thought it was a response to a riot at first, but it’s a call for backup! 😳
1:45 I was in the White Honda it was crazy !!!
1:03 IS THAT A CROWN VIC I SEE?
5.0 baby !

What was going on
How do they deal with a call for backup in LA with overwhealming force

Was it for the same call that they had last year where are they were shooting off fireworks at LAPD?
The crown vic was the best out of all🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
It was 15, another one turned left behind the others. Great video.
This could be misconstrued as a FORD EXPLORER commercial as well ! Built Ford tough !
The Crown Vic’s were always my favorite. Hated the Shamus.
Superior training Superior tactics Superior show of force!
Spectacular catch!
You know in AM when those cops come out of briefing they all try to sit by the door to get the Crown Vic's keys before the other guys.
In Portland, this would be the entire force
Awesome when you have enough crews for proper backup! I remember years ago when our department used to be able to do this. Now they need mutual aid, fire too.
And at 1:03 two officers in a Crown Vic say "we'll handle this, the rest of you go plug in your battery powered toy cars."
Bro in the Yaris be like 😳
Nice catches brotha 🤙
The rookie theme plays
You have that many units responding you know someone is screwed up
Nice catches!
Best part of the video was the Vic
POV: You request for a unit for a traffic stop in Roblox.
Sad to see having 2 officers in my family who passed on duty....CHP and Culver City PD.....I respect them all..but respect Us...cause us is YOU
Donut shop getting robbed????
I am liking the comment ☝️
Crown Vic baby!!!
You sure it’s a backup and not a help call?
There's a sale on plain glazed!
Using the visor mirrors for shade. So no one wears sunglasses anymore when it’s bright outside
Must’ve had a special on Dunkin’ Donuts
Love those pretty wig wags on the head lights
Thats what u call is calling in the calvary 😮
What happens!!??
I hope LAPD fix their understaff problem
Not yet I think they're still at 9,000 they were at 10,000 couple years ago.
The weirdest thing about this video is out of all those officers, only one is wearing sunglasses.
Awesome catches!!
I’m going to guess the “HOT” sign in the Krispy Kream window came on!😂
That's a lot of SUVs
I can almost promise 28 Officers are not needed as backup. I don't care what the call is.
Musta been a pancake special at IHOP 😳
Long Live the Queen!
Impressive, but are we really sure that there was enough of them? I mean, where was the war?
