It's not been mentioned in the media but it's quite incredible to realise that Sheff Utd are still in pre-season training. The Arab owner assumed the club would be sold so no planning for this season was made. The SU team for the 1st match against Palace was the weakest starting 11 in 6 years, it was far weaker than last season promotion team, losing the 4 best players with no replacements and instead, playing Academy and reserve players. Several players have been brought in just before the window closes, so for United the season starts now, basically we forfeited the 1st 3 games of the season. Blades are actually quite confident we'll stay up. Watch this space !

I think the thing with Burnley I'd, once we get our defence sorted put, we will become an actually decent side. Our attacking strength seems quite promising as Foster is doing well along with Koleosho. Great potential from other players too. Early days, but if we fix our defence I think 15th or under would be possible.

As a untied fan I have to say what a mess our ownership is I think ETH is good and we played alright on Sunday the additional time didn’t go in our favour

Blades starts this season will be Vini Souza who looks a top 10 CDM Gus was mentioned in the vid & Archer too. Luke Thomas made a difference when he came on we’re getting injured players back & I reckon Anis Slimane will come good for us! ⚔️
I think predictions have to be made just after the end of the transfer window and not before the season starts to have a better idea about how each team gets stacked up.

Arsenal has to start playing more consistent if they want to hold on to 2nd and make a run on 1st - close games and last min wins aren't going to cut it when we start playing against Liverpool and Man City.
Only one I would disagree with is Liverpool being looked down on
We have the potential to win the league with how we play but i would still stick to City winning in the end
Arsenal are a great club but Liverpool will show why you should never look down on them again

@@DarwizzyLover842Did you seriously just say Liverpool were average against Bournemouth? Do you actually watch football? After the shocking first 15-20 minutes Liverpool were completely dominant in that game and Szoboszlai ran the show all on his own. Even when they were playing with 10 men for over 30 minutes they were still controlling the game.
Against Newcastle they were playing away from home at SJP which everyone hyped up and rightfully so because it's one of the toughest grounds to go to. Then they were playing with 10 men for 70 minutes and they were still outplaying Newcastle in the 2nd half.
You're really terrible at analyzing football it's actually hilarious. Chelsea I completely understand and that's mainly due to them playing a striker in midfield and having no DM. But you saw how Liverpool were shredding Chelsea to pieces during the first 30 minutes. The game could've ended 4-0 within the first 30 minutes had Liverpool been more composed and clinical because they were that dominant.
@@almond2403I do think some of these guys opinions are very controversial, seems like he doesn’t like Liverpool as a club either gave them an F in the transfer window video and said average against Bournemouth…. Probably United fans said they’ve been good at home 🤣 just about managed wins against wolves and Forrest went 2-0 up in 5 minutes and 76 minutes later after Forrest picked up a red card fernandes got the winner with a penalty 😂

Me i think somehow after the champions league and europa na conference league start this month it will have a lot of impact to esp to teams that in those competition,so look out for ,chelsea , Liverpool and totenham

this is my opinion but with Zaha gone, it lifted the pressure off players like Eze and they playing with more freedom. I personly put palace to finish 9th

The whole point of a prediction is that you set it before the thing happens and then you don't touch it until it's over. At this point you might as well make a new prediction every gameweek. Ridiculous.
The point is they did the first one way too early
I think they are just doing it for fun I doubt that at the end of the season they are going to look at this prediction and not the one before the season started

I’ve got to say as a blades fan I really disagree with rock bottom. I’ve only seen improvement from every game we’ve played so far and the team is starting to come together. Our left side still needs work but I recon we will just stay up or just go down either way we aren’t going to just roll over for teams we will put up a good scrap
this is coming from a lfc fan. Everton look great when going forward with the ball but the can just no finish. They need to get someone who can finish those chances and they will go around 15th-12th

@@user-ug1cj2nd8yIn their fair point, Villa, Brighton, and Newcastle all got European competitions to focus on. Chelsea main focus is the league and placing highly(if possible). Also considering the group that Newcastle got in the UCL, it all really depends where the teams put their focus on.

I think Man Utd will struggle. They will get some good wins but overall don't think they have enough quality or strength in depth to finish as high as 4th. Spurs will finish ahead of them this year. I think Brighton will too. Everton and Luton to go down but think it will be close for the other place.

@@jhaychspurs only have two competitions to focus on compared to Man U 4. This is where depth will matter for Man U
@@jhaych I know it is early in the season and you can't judge from just a few games, but based on what we have seen so far I'd still argue these two sides have better depth than Utd. Look at the quality of players Brighton could bring on today.

Original Predictions:
Winners: Manchester City (As usual. They still have Haaland, De Bruyne, plus 2 new Croats in form of Kovacic and Gvardiol).
Champions League: Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal.
Champions League Extra Spot: Chelsea.
Europa League: Newcastle United, Aston Villa.
Conference League: Brighton & Hove Albion.
Relegation: Luton Town, Sheffield United, Everton (West Ham United and Wolves could be a serious candidates. They didn't had a signings this summer).
Champions League: 4 English clubs will play in QF, with 3 English ties like the 2007/08 and 2008/09. My prediction is to make sure Manchester United go past the group stage:
1.Newcastle United lost to Arsenal in QF.
2.Arsenal lost to Manchester United in SF.
3.4th European Cup for Manchester United. They won against Manchester City on pens at Wembley, repeating the 1968 victory against Benfica and avenging the 2011 defeat against Pep Guardiola's former club, Barcelona, both also at Wembley.
However, United's fate depends on how they got Amrabat immediately after Mount and Hojlund before this summer window ended. If not, then the final will be Manchester City vs Arsenal or even Manchester City vs Bayern Munich, with Manchester City claiming 2nd title and became the 2nd team after Real Madrid on Champions League era to successfully protected the crown.
Europa League: Liverpool will have enormous chance to win 4th Europa League crown at Dublin. Roma is the only sole contenders, considering they were so close to win this one after the night at Budapest. West Ham and Brighton, no chances. It might be exciting to see Jurgen Klopp vs Jose Mourinho big battle at Aviva Stadium.
Conference League: Aston Villa had a dangeorus squad and also Unai Emery. Emery had always won with a team that managed like Sevilla and Villarreal. It might be an easier way to win this title, considering Athletic Club for Spain and Fiorentina for Italy were in doubt.

Winners: Manchester City (No changes).
Champions League: Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspurs.
Champions League Extra Spot: West Ham United.
Europa League: Brighton & Hove Albion, Nottingham Forest (If possible).
Conference League: Newcastle United.
Relegation: Luton Town, Wolves, Burnley.
Manchester United finished 10th, Chelsea finished 17th and avoided relegation!
Champions League (For English clubs):
1.Manchester United: Group Stage (Finished 4th with NO wins. All 3 home games ended in a stalemate).
2.Arsenal: Quarter Final (Finished 1st along with Sevilla, but lost to Real Madrid).
3.Newcastle United: Group Stage (Finished 3rd behind PSG and Milan, but still managed 2 wins over Borussia Dortmund. In Europa League, they made all the way to the Final, losing to Liverpool).
4.Manchester City: Final (Finished 1st along with Leipzig. They narrowly lost to PSG thanks to Kylian Mbappe's magic. A pretty intense game, showing how better Mbappe was against the new GOAT rivals, Erling Haaland. It could be a different story if KDB recovered from the hamstring injury).
Europa League (For English clubs):
1.Liverpool: Winners (Finished 1st along with Union SG. Won Europa League for the 4th time after beating Newcastle United (if possible) or West Ham United).
2.West Ham United: Knockout Playoff or Final (They will most likely finish 1st, but if it's 2nd, then they had to face Champions League 3rd-placed teams and immediately go out from this phase).
3.Brighton & Hove Albion: Quarter Final (Finished 1st along with Marseille, but lost to one of the Champions League 3rd-placed teams).
Conference League:
Aston Villa: Winners (Finished 1st along with AZ. Won the Conference League against one of Europa League 3rd-placed teams or Frankfurt).

I strongly disagree that Arsenal will finish 5th because Tottenham are playing good just because they have new boss and players but Arteta build that squad over the time so I would swap them. Newcastle is better than west ham because of depth in their squad I would swap them too. I am a Liverpool fan and I can surely say they are unpredictable but if their midfield can hold ball and defence stays in better shape and most importantly their performance against bottom 10 is good then they can challenge city.
