It didn't surprise me that Jack's dream would be almost identical to reality, just with his classmates being better examples, but the dream taking place at the beginning of the school year was a surprise and I loved the autumn setting, and it was a surprise to see that the Ruggie dreams of his father returning and Leona having influence even though he isn't there.
Are we just ignoring the fact that it said “take this for your grandmother and father”? Ruggie once said “His dad left him to go get money and never looked back.” His dad isn’t in his life. He never knew his dad. Also the fact that his greatest desire and dream, is food. Honestly I love Ruggie so much
All this dream hopping has to be producing a lot of blot for Silver. I still think he is going to Overblot and be perpetually trapped in sleep by the time they defeat Malleus. But then i remember sleep is one of the things that helps alleviate blot and now i just want to know how Silver's blot production works
I never thought of that... wouldn't it be deep sleep enough to rest that would help alleviate blot tho ? in this case his body is asleep but he doesn't rest, so he probably has accumulated quite a lot of blot
@@Cyuutie i bet his Overblot form would depict him in armor similar to the Dawn Knight. But can you imagine the angst potential if he does Overblot in his sleep? I am just shaking with anticipation for the climax of this book!
While he’s likely accumulating some blot, early in the book he explained that the magic cost and blot accumulation of his unique magic is very low. There have been a few instances where characters have described their magic like that and then spam it, for example Honest Fellow from the Playful Land event, Kalim Al Asim and Rook Hunt (in his case it was more that its existence was barely noticeable). Furthermore, blot is also contingent on negative emotions, while he likely developed a good chunk in Lilia’s dream, it may be safe to assume that he’ll be fine until we get to Heartslabyul or Ramshackle when some shake up should occur (I feel like something’s gonna happen to Yuu or Grim)
@@ayoimiideoshikanlu8505 i must have missed that detail early on in Book 7. Which is funny because i am usually on the ball with remembering those details. Meh. Either way you never know what the writers might have planned.
@@sevenequalsoneheart6710 I went through most of the previous chapters to see if I could provide a proper reference, but I couldn’t find anything, not even when he first explains his magic, nor when he explains it to Idia. I apologize for making such a declaration without the proper sources. What I did notice while reading through it all again is that you were onto something with the sleep alleviating blot/replenishing magic.
In chapter 108, mama Shroud mentions that’s because everyone’s sleeping so much they must be full of stamina and magic power-suggesting that as they sleep they’re replenishing their reserves. But in chapter 119, Ortho informs Grim that using the DREAM FORM CHANGE spell, consumes the users own magic (he warns the prefect to also avoid using support tools too much, just in case)-this suggests that magic, on some level is being consumed. In chapter 157 Ortho concludes that, “the disturbance in the compositional balance of spiritual elements is counted as damage accumulation,” this in response to Idia’s concerns over HP and MP depletion by the time they face Malleus-this once again drawing attention to the health/stamina and magic reserves of the party.
This leads into Ortho’s most recent analysis in Chapter 191, where he addresses Silver, Sebek, Grim and the Prefect and declares, “there isn’t much damage to your numbers…”, and inquires as to whether they’re pushing themselves too hard, to which Silver shares that he “doesn’t feel tired,” and then speaks more on how his concern for Lilia and Malleus is what drives him; this is followed by Ortho stating, “ I see. But if you hold back the monitoring staff and I will soon find out.”
So, based on these factors: his hopeful state, the possibility that their physical bodies aren’t consuming magic and the S.T.Y.X staff monitoring his condition; Silver may be alleviating blot faster than he produces it, despite frequently using his unique magic. We could even compare him to Sebek who’s used his Unique magic in chapters 84, 88 and 171, and consider all the other battles they’ve used magic in. I think their health, blot and magic is based on how their ‘imagination’ reflects their condition.
In 1:21:40, when Jack called the three hyenas “Friends of truth”, if I remember correctly, Scar threw them under the bus, and betrayed their trust after he was defeated. And in return, the hyenas ate him alive. The twisted history of TW never stops boggling my mind. And honestly, Ruggie should give Malleus a black eye for this.
After Leona I get to see my boys again! They’re still so silly. I just adore the friendship between the prefect and Ace and Deuce.

edit : I passed the text through google translate (cause I don't speak japanese) and I think I found the confusion, one of the characters translate to "heart" (when in the full context of the sentence) but to "chest" in other cases... so I guess the issue was that "lend me your heart" (in the sense of "lend me your support") was confused for "lend me your chest/breasts" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 it's hilarious tho

Before this section came out, I wondered if there’d be a theme on “king dependency” among Savanaclaw’s dreams. Maybe there still is, but if the theme is more weighted on how they wake up, both Jack and Ruggie had to be lured and played first. In other words, their real kings are their primal instincts.
My predictions for Leona’s dream are as good as anyone’s, but now I’m recalling Book 6. There, Idia commented that Leona may be the type to know if he’s dreaming. Choice of words feels like foreshadowing at this point.
Everyone seems to think the same..it's one of 2 options: Leona is awake and somehow fighting Malleus/darkness or he knows he's in a fake dream where he'll be in big trouble if he acts weird so he complies while trying to find a way then the gang approach him and he goes "oh I know..no need to try waking me up"
Or, you know… He’s aware it’s a dream but he’s happy and satisfied after a VERY long time he doesn’t want to get out of it
@minyoongianne Idk..Leona isn't that kind of person..in fact I think he'll be the angriest at Malleus and be happy to be able to beat him the way he wants
Frrr I also think Leona would know he's dreaming. He's just that type of person.
Either way I’d still want to see what Leona’s dream looks like. Cloudcalling and even bits of Book 7 suggest that Leona would industrialize Sunset Savannah further if he were in charge, harmony with nature be damned. At extremes, it would align with the ruin Scar brought to his savanna when he became king.
Details I want to comment on: 1-we finally found out the names of Silver and Sebek's horses, I thought we would have to wait until the club cards came out to find out, but we still have to wait to see the princes🤣 They are both the people who complain that horses don't win medals at the Olympics.
2-Azul must have done more exercise on land in this game than in the two years he arrived on land.
3- I liked that they pointed out how the urbanization situation in Sunset Savanah is complex, when they commented about it at the event, I saw a lot of people complaining about how Leona was right and people were being unfair to his ideas, without considering the other side.
Between Silver, Sebek and Lilia, Ruggie has the saddest crying face 😢🥺 1:56:28 the poor boy

They were just Jack and Ruggie's dream, but it was a great redemption for book two. Now all that's left is Leona's dream for the three of them to turn the world upside down.
Does anybody else think that Ruggie calling Grimm a monster might be a hint in the future? When we meet Ruggie on the Savanalaw chapter, Grimm is already with us as a student. The fact he doesn't call him just a beast but a monster might be a hint that he doesn't consider that Grimm is from a normal "animal" kingdom.
I thought Leona in Jack's dream was more disturbing than the smiling Jamil in Kalim's dream.😖
