Gorgeous arrangement of one of my favorites from 1931.

Love this rendition. There is also the Jack Denny Hotel Orchestra Royal Mounty of Canada. Thanks

One of the greatest standards of all time, still a favorite among jazz musicians. Good version, if a little lightweight.

I love this song! And I actually prefer this version over Bing's. Do you know, was Jack Denny and His Orchestra based in Montreal? Was it a working orchestra or a studio band? Just curious, thank you so much!!! :^D 🎺

Hi - Recorded mostly in New York, but did cut some sides (like probably this one) in Montreal. Assume he was "working"; in Montreal cut sides for Victor under "Jack Denny and His Mount Royal Hotel Orchestra", and back in New York under "and His Waldorf-Astoria Orchestra".
Remember that old song, "I'm a Dreamer, Montreal"? (Sorry - a Groucho line.)
