Ice is one of the highest DPS ability. But it's also one of the most difficult ability, because of skating.
So, I used jump cancel, that keeps Kirby's dash state without moving, and it enables to repeat Super Ice Sprinkle in one place.
This record is actually faster than my Hammer video, but it's just because of shooting segments (It's 12 seconds faster in total).
I think Hammer is still strongest ability.

ちなみにハンマーの動画より早い記録なのは主にシューティングが完璧だったせいなので、シューティング部分を除いた実際のタイムはハンマーより8秒程度遅いです。

PR's Arenas in a nutshell.
And for good reason. I'm pretty sure that Star Dream Soul OS has the most phases of any video game boss ever made if you break it down.
So, two "rounds" (segments with similar base mechanics between their component phases) - 3D Shmup (Outside Star Dream) and 2D Platformer (Inside Star Dream)
Within that, there's a total of five major phases (segments grouped between "resets").
And then within that, it gets insane.
Major Phase 1 has 3 minor phases (Initial, Meteor Shower, Giant Laser)
Major Phase 2 has an additional 4 minor phases (Initial, H, A, L)
Major Phase 3 introduces another 6 minor phases (Initial, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1) with an additional interphase attack pattern (CRITICAL ERROR, designed to punish the player for not defeating Star Dream before the end of the countdown).
Major Phase 4 has yet another 2 minor phases (initial and second)
Major Phase 5 has only one proper phase, but it also adds an additional "suicide attack" at the end.
So, if you count all the minor phases, that's a total of 16 different phases.
That's Kirby's infinite power at work there! I knew SIS was strong, but I had no idea you could do THAT! I have so much respect for those who have the patience to master all of that timing. What a spectacle, thank you!

I remember when I first played this game, I knew almost nothing about Kirby and got NONE of the references, but now I'm a huge Kirby fan and get all of them!
My reactions to the references I didn't get back then:
Star Dream/Nova: "Woah! Is that a cat?"
Dark Matter: "It's like that thing that cloned Dedede, but it's a guy with a sword!"
Queen Sectonia: "It's a bee!"
Galacta Knight: "Look! It's a Pink Meta Knight!"
This is absolutely impressive! I really want to learn how to use Ice in this way now... Wow.
The Star Dream segments made me laugh out loud; you're barely moving out of the way of everything to keep your shots aimed on Star Dream. By comparison, I was going all over the place!
I'm curious, though, is it more effective to save up for the full 'A' charge, and hit Star Dream harder, or to go with smaller charges and hit them more often?
Comparing the total amount of damages, it's Charge 3 > Charge 2+1 > Charge 1+1+1.
So basically, full charge is most effective. But still smaller charges are better in some case.
If only I was this good with Ice. Nice work on you, good sir, to show that Ice kicks ass.

Land on the ground with using Super Ice Sprinkle, then cancel into jump and use Super Ice Sprinkle again immediately.

Yeah, possible. But, it's almost useless because bosses have short invincibility after hit.
Oh now that you mentioned it, they're like getting only one hit from when Kirby uses attacks that does multi-hits. Nevertheless, I'm excited to use this once I get my copy of the game.
I love watching others play through hard modes in games I enjoy to see how they played it differently than me! But then I came across this which puts my half hour time to shame! Good work though, I enjoyed watching the bosses take like one step before getting annihilated.

I never knew Kirby gained a snowball dash attack...
He did since Return to Dreamland. It was retconned in Triple Deluxe, but returned in this game, albeit with less damage.
And for the record, that's supposed to be an ice-ball.

I couldnt emulate you perfectly so I managed to do the no dash version...which shortened my run from 27 to 21 mins
also did they nerf hammer? seems like just spamming normal jumping swing outdamages hammer flip and hammer twirl sometimes doesnt destroy boss corpses(sometimes it does,very inconsistent to me)
Ice's Super Ice Sprinkle is obviously stronger than normal one,
and Hammer's Ultra Giant Swing is less strong than normal one.
Boss corpses has invincibility while they are in air. So, maybe you hit them too early.
And, Hammer is not nerfed at all. Just Giant Swing has huge advantage in Planet Robobot because Bosses has no invincibility after getting hit.

No, It's same as in Triple Deluxe.
API always moves to Kirby's back side when Kirby stands on center.
Just stand like this video, then turn back and attack after API moved to hittable position.
This makes my time for true arena look so off record

Rolling is your friend. I used poison and that seems to work
FinalSB I used Archery again and this time. I knew when to jump.
+E-Star99 I used poison because of the invincibility frames on dash attack and the fact you can place clouds that deal damage when you dodge. But whatever works for you and congrats!
FinalSB I learned my lesson, never use the camouflage move during the during the fatal blow.

So the main thing that confuses me about his runs, including this one, is he doesn't lose his power when he gets hit. I've been trying to learn how to do some of the stuff he does in here but any time I screw up and get hit my power flies away and I have to chase it down to get it back. It happens almost every time I get hit, but in these True Arena videos it doesn't seem to be happening at all. Does anyone know what's up with that?
Don't get hit by enemy's "attacks", like lightning, bullet, rush, etc. They always cause to lose your ability.

I don't even mean Ice-specific, I just mean jump-canceling as a whole. I tried with hammer and couldn't get the timing there either.
Keep trying, and try various timing of input. No one can handle it from the beginning. You can do it eventually!

Cutter for Stock Meta Knight, Ice for Dedede clones, U.F.O. for Star Dream (Doctor if you don't have amiibo), Hammer for rest of all

How to use jump cancle?
You have to press down twice quickly while on air, but i don't think it's legitimately possible to do it that quickly, so they probably are using a turbo thing

The thing is, we never knew that Super Ice Sprinkle has such high DPS. Also, I think a lot of people still do not know that bosses no longer receive invincibility frames from hits. That technicality was the reason why Hammer and its Hammer Flip was the go-to ability back in Super Star Ultra. But now, double Giant Swings usually have more DPS. Although, there are still a few moments where Hammer Flip is better.
I beat it with the hammer in 29 minutes and got a 3 star golden trophy in the victory screen, why did you get only 1 star?

super ice sprinkle can hit constantly and be hellish when teamed with quick fall leading for a ridiculous amount of hits on the boss and as well as the fact he was able to master this trick, it is still pretty ridiculous
