Thank you all!
@ROBERTO MONTINI yeah now that you mention it.
A prehistoric snake size comparison sounds super cool!!!
I just wanted to ask you Mario.
If your Halloween special will be about cryptids that are based on prehistoric creatures.
Because over on my channel I’m planning on my Halloween special being a cryptid size comparison.
Again ( only on cryptids based on prehistoric animals )
This is if your next video even is a Halloween special
Or if you will be making one at all.
@@kingkosmoceratops1404 I have a couple of ideas for videos related to cryptids. But not for this Halloween. Maybe in a few months or so
There are dinosaurs I did not know of.😯
Amazing video as always, your art keeps getting better and better.
I like these up-to-date reconstructions of the sauropoda dinosaurs, especially the variation in color, it’s much more visually interesting to look at then the usually dull, monotone color that herbivorous dinosaurs are often depicted in.
Even modern day herbivores have quite diverse colours. Look at Giraffes, Hippos, Pandas, Horses and Oryx.
@@wetube6513 The Okapi is another great example
Is it accurate? I don't know where to find accurate pictures of him?
I mean how exactly do they find the colors? Traces of pigment?
@@creepymouth2709 They don't outside of a few species, its just speculation based on modern animals
I had no clue there were sauropods that small, I always thought they were all huge.
You realise that the “small” sauropods were still bigger than any land mammal today?
Blockmaster you should try magyarosaurus
@@funwithfish1507 It's just when you think of a sauropod most people think of animals the size of buildings and it is a bit strange to think of some of them being a bit bigger than an elephant. Like it's still big just not what comes to mind first.
@@hankhoses8668 Yeah but to be fair even the small sauropods weights more than 800 kg for sure.
They are all huge in perspective.
@@hankhoses8668 that’s because an elephant is a figment of imagination to most people. When you realise how big an elephant is, it becomes all the more amazing. A cow weighs ~750kg and it would be reasonable to suggest the smallest sauropods were well over one ton. That’s huge
Tu paleoarte cada vez superandose a si mismo Mario, gracias por hacer una actualización del vídeo sobre Sauropodos, es sorprendente como unos animales inmensamente grandes hayan pisado este planeta.
Bien dicho bro
The sheer power of seeing a new size comparison video on my notifications.
Nobody:
That one Saurapod looking at you in the thumbnail:
Xinjiyangtitan probably was the animal with absolutely the longest neck (more also than Mamenchisaurus)
My man, you’re really underrated. Your art and the quality is amazing. Its sad how most Paleo UA-cam channels and artists dont get as much attention as other channels get.
Thank you so much!
I love all the new additions, especially Brachytrachelopan, since it's one of my favorite dinosaurs.
The smallest sauropod ever discovered was Ibirania parva, it was recently discovered in Brazil
Aw that could have been a nice addition...
@@MarioLanzas. Where mass estimates?
I’m loving the interpretation of armargasaurus with that big sail! Great work as always
Thank you!
Actually it's commonly excepted now that amargasaurus didn't have connections between its spines.
@@PanthersGamingSessionYT Cerda et al. 2022 = Dicraeosaurids did have soft tissue connections between the neck spines.
@@PanthersGamingSessionYT You know that’s been disproven, right?
I loved your designs as I always do. But seeing Brontosaurus that different and new is amazing
Excellent video as always. I particularly liked your depiction of Dreadnoughtus schrani.
Sei sempre geniale, con tutti i dinosauri, soprattutto con l' argentinosaurus e il giganotosaurus, poi la presenza dei classici tyrannosaurus e brontosaurus,mi fa sempre gioire
I’ve been waiting for a redo of this for so long… NOW ITS HERE.
absolutely love the timing on this
I've been reading through so many tangential threads on SVPOW and I've really never been in a more Sauropod focused mood than now
3:21 how is that even possible 😂
Air sacs, my friend. Air sacs. 🤣
Beautiful and some surprising twists in design. You never bore us with your interpretations! Bravo Mario!! Stunning work as usual!
Keep watching this young paleoartist! His name and his works will one day sit amongst the greats like: Luis Rey, Todd Marshell, Mark Hallett and even the great Charles Knight!
Keep it up, man. Your work will be remembered! 🤩
Thank you so much! :D
Great choice Mario Lanzas. This type of video always deserves to be liked, commented on, shared with friends, and re-watched the whole week!
I think that xingjiangtitan stole brachytrachelopan's neck
🤨
Could be mixed up Dino bones but I don’t think so
since this is a remake of one of your older videos, I would love to see a remake of your crocodylomorph size comparison video. I mean we need more art of Zulmasuchus and the other sebecids.
These videos are amazing. I love seeing all of them together at the end
I love some of these new reconstructions, as well as some new taxa that were not in the original.
From a book I read as a kid, I remember Barosaurus is little bit bigger. Now it's quite average sized sauropod.
This is a massive improvement from your last video. Keep up the great work!
Glad I got your video recommended again.
Good to see such a selection of various sauropods that really managed to showcase their diversity. The designs are so good here. I think it's partially due to dull depictions of sauropods dominating the media but from a few conversations with non-paleonerds I've got the impression that a lot of people think that all "long-necked dinosaurs" are a single species.
The knobbly ends of those whippy tails could probably do a lot of damage.
Beautiful work!
I’ve been waiting for another upload! Keep up the hard work and keep doing your own art, it’s awesome!
My favourite channel on UA-cam by far! I’m glad I subscribed!
Aweosme sauropod showcase/drawings
They're really good dude, hope you have a good day
Love that you experimented with some non 2d poses
I love the art and the colors given to these big guys. Definitely Subscribing!
Now this is a masterpiece!
Isn’t Supersaurus invalid now btw?
@@Mikailodon Maybe I have missed something but I think it's valid. Are you by any chance thinking about Seismosaurus instead? Because that one is invalid and is now a species of Diplodocus.
Super is valid, seismo isnt
@@Andrey.Ivanov sad, the name "seismosaurus" sounded so cool
The largest animals that ever walked the earth, and as this video beautifully shows, among the strangest. In a good way. They were weird but fascinating. 🦕🦕🦕
Especially shunosaurus and amargasaurus, some of the coolest looking dinosaurs yet
Literally
Increíble video
This vídeo is so great, in the next video, you make size comparison of saltasauridae, nemegtosauridae and opisthocoelicaudiinae?
Loved these! Will show my great grandmother
Always excellent
Me gustó mucho tu representación de Bajadasaurus
Esta muy buena
Thanks!
Thank you!!😃
Nice, spinosaurus!
Loveth 💜🇫🇮 Thank you for these giants with beautiful layout🙏
me encantaron los diseñaste muy bonitos.
Big dinosaurs, great work👏👏
I liked it the video. Best regards. 🦕👋
Your art is very beautiful! I love all your videos they are very fascinating!
Thank you!1 :)
Hay pocas ilustraciones modenas de Vulcanodon, ame viéndolo en tu estilo
Good show!
amazing video
Yeah, love your work!
Thank you!!
Idk why I love your videos so much but I do. Thanks for the work you do. Helps entertain my monkey brain self.
It's pretty cool how you put a sauropod feet as the symbol of the group in the start, since it was how they got their name in the first place (sauro poda = lizard foot).
Hey bro,…
I am always more focused on the cool art in these videos than the comparisons
That bajadasaurus is my new sleep paralysis (idk how it is written) demon. Despite it, suberb work Mario
Fantastic. The extinct animals of Australia would be a wonderful video.
amazing video bro
thank you!!

Gorgeous giants.🦕
Yay my favorite dinosaur species. So brontosaurus really did exist.
I love your art but Turiasaurus just naturally looks so uncanny. It's the maned wolf of giant sauropods.
Turiasaurs are a more primitive kind of sauropods, so it makes sense that they developed different body proportions, looking weird compared to all the Neosauropods 🙃
Xinjiangtitan feels like one of those dinos they’ll revise after some new critical finds :P That neck is ungodly
It's sad evolution will probably never create titans like the dinosaurs again 😢.
We don’t know, probably, but I don’t think humanity will get to see it anyways.
@@rolloxra670 yeah, unfortunately 😓.
¿Puedes hacer una sobre aves hawaianas?
Te quedó excelente el vídeo por cierto.
Barosaurus now around 25 meters long? Many species now! badass video
Awwww yay for the long bois! 💖🦕
Love the Amargasaurus!
Supersaurus based on the new estimates was 39-42 meters long.
this video was very beautiful 😍
Thank you!
Sauropods necks are like coconut tree trunks...Long and thin but they can withstand the harshest gusts of wind
Nice
amei as reconstruções e cores
nice
Amazing to see that their basic body shape and layout barely changes with their size.
Epic
Just looking at Brachytrachelopan's very short neck is just way too unrealistic and funny.
Genial👍👍👍
cool
Next do Ceratopsians
NICE
I noticed that most dinosaurs overtime are getting smaller, cause if you observe the periods (Like Cretaceous or Jurrasic etc), the period closer to pangea have longer, fatter and taller dinos compared to dinos that were already near extinction.
4:00
You are a good person for being a able father and to have your child be happy and Sauropod
Good as expected mario can you make the next video about prehistoric cats
One day!
Okay I’ll wait
Beautiful art and music, I enjoyed it a lot... Just a teeny hint to maybe make the video better... It's really difficult to read the white text in the light -colored background... A little contrast would help a lot so we can read which species we're observing. 💖
Oh yeah, and 💖 Sauro Love 💖
Como me gustaría ir ala prehistoria y conocer a esto Gigantes dinosaurios :(
Sería extraordinario
These videos are really important? These are videos I’d want to see in school. I hope you get more views
a new subscriber
1:04 The bajadasaurus looks really creepy.
Do therizinosaurs next
Brachytrachelopan is just all tail and Xinjiangtitan is all neck.
The new Amargasaurus and Bajadasaurus look more sense than before
Between their spikes have a skin to connect these spikes
Mario can you make a tyrannosauroidea video next . Great work 👍
it's done already! :

Shout out to the person who went back in time to get us this info

Could you do the first prehistoric animals Discovered by each type?
Bro just break all rules and make amagar with no spine but lump on the neck that so amazing and cool
please can you do everything
