David i believe they charge about 1700$ for fuel setup as well. Takes roughly about 8 hours. Ain’t that some sh**.

Feel your pain. I installed the edelbrock SC and during a tune revision. The engine blew. So 10 weeks later. A new engine clutch and flywheel. And now finishing the tune process with CSG.

Wow... going HKS supercharger soon and will be using the Tuner from HKS. Did the engine blow from a bad tune? Any info on the cause of the engine failure?
Jose Cuevas i suggest you get a dyno tune
They’ll be able to catch if anything is going wrong before catastrophic failure.
You can do the hks tune they provide, but to get full potential and dial in fueling to the absolute best, I recommend dyno tuning

Hey man, I installed my edelbrock supercharger on my brz, on december 22nd last year, christmas day I was stranded because of a fuel line that was not on all the way and my car was leaking fuel profusely. You live and you learn man. Luckily my lines were still ok, only took maybe 20 minutes to fix. Hopefully you’ll have the car back soon man! I know the feeling!!

Hey Chris. Worked on the fuel injectors before, so I have a little bit of experience. They are very easy to angle incorrectly. Even a small degree off it will shoot out fuel. I suggest taking all the fuel injectors off and retorquing them down. Hope this helps!

Hey man, the issue is gonna be the seating of the injectors. Almost happened to me. Luckily for me I caught it. Remove all your injectors and double check that you removed the oem rubber grommets where they seat(use a pick tool) After, double check the top part of rail, sometime oem o-ring gets stuck in there. Lastly, look for tears on top spacer of new injectors, when you bolt the rail down and twist the injectors, those rubber spacers tend to rip easily.
Don’t stress, i doubt it’s something serious.
I installed JacksonRacing SC on mine and troubleshoot everything good
Then installed JDL turbo kit and everything went fine as well.
I’m not mechanically inclined.
Exactly what I was thinking, aswell as if the injectors are seated well you could use a flat head screwdriver agendes the injector and press your ear to it while cranking the car to hear if the injectors are firing

Dude! When I did my turbo build on my tC, one of my o rings was ripped, i just smelled gas luckily I saved found it replaced it and done. Never had an issue with my build since, 6 years running. Also, when you put the serpentine belt back on, you can use a wire to pull the belt onto the pulley for an effortless install.

actually, there is a little strap you pull in the backseat and the seat angles forward and then you can push the seat foward.
The exhaust takes away from the whole supercharging... the sound of the supercharge is so nice....

If there's fuel leaking everywhere then the fuel injector connections aren't tight enough for when the engine is pressurized. Check for vacuum leaks to see exactly where the problem is.

you should put some silicone grease on the injector o-rings before installing them, made that mistake with my supercharged FR-S as well.

I was worried that that noise u heard when u tried to restart the engine was it hydro locking by having too much fuel just being dumped in the cylinder, that’s what I thought it was when u said the fuel circuit was stuck open, I’m glad it turned over again tho even if it didn’t start

It’s okay bro, it happens we learn and get better don’t get upset it’ll work soon. I had to get 22 stitches cause I cut my leg during exhaust install, so it’s gonna be all good bro love the vids

New set of spark plugs should do it, overfuel is common when changing injectors. Hks ones should do the trick
Cylinder 1 is passengers side front. You also need to have black injector cover on it grounds the injector ecu

Sucks hopefully issue gets fixed soon, you guys should check the injector connections. Ive experienced many down falls as well. Thats how it is sometimes. Currently suffering from a p0016 code. If you know, you know..

Would not be a true boosting experience unless something went wrong along the way lol. Take your time with it.
So you really just have to narrow it down to: 1) Fuel 2) spark 3)compression. Are you getting enough fuel pressure AT the injectors? Is the tune file correct? Any other ideas? The engine is still perfectly fine as long as you don't hammer on it while getting ecu tuned.

I had the same problem with my genesis coupe my injector lost the seat that goes on top and its been leaking fuel and my car started dying while im driving

Broooo same issues happened to me once I boosted mine! Injectors has upgraded fuel pump were not cooperating for the longest..trust me when I say it’s all apart of the process. It’ll be worth it 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Sooo lucky that fuel didn’t ignite that was leaking. When I saw the O ring fall off when you removed the rail I was biting my teeth. Glad it’s okay though man.

check the orings on the new injectors, might have forgotten to add new ones or left old ones. happened to my frs.

bro when i was installing my kit i thought injectors would kill me first.. though it has been fine so far instead my belt didnt line up well and got a toasted belt ( i saved it tho but burnt it a bit)

Fuel leak on that injector lucky no 🔥
That smoke was probably just unburnt fuel finding its way into the exhaust and burning off. Without that rubber grommet on the end of the injector that cylinder probably wasn’t making much, if any, compression so it wasn’t igniting the air/fuel mixture. A bunch of air would be introduced into that bank also so that could be why you got the lean code. All part of the process, we’ve all been there 🤙
Easier said than done but sadly sh*t happens man but keep your head up high and know good things will happen with this install once its all figured out and fixed! Wishing you all the best as always! 👍👍

I feel your pain man. I think for mine, I've had several fuel pump issues. Hopefully it's gets resolved.
At least you didn’t do what I did, installed my Jackson supercharger and I mixed up the feed and return line and blew the supercharger

Bruh this exact same shit happened to me! Exact same sound when trying to start. My issues was one of my direct port injectors got stuck open and flooded cylinder 3. Subaru had to replace all 4 of my direct port injectors.$3k later shes on the road again.
