I have a 0256 code which indicates some kind of short or problem with the passenger side Turbo wastegate actuator. I have a infiniti Q50 and I'm curious if it's adjustable like the external ones or is it something that's going to require me to spend a pretty penny since they supposedly don't sell the actual actuator leaving you to buy the complete turbo assembly! I'm trying to figure out what I can possibly do?
My only issue with installing this is your airbox is bolted on and is stationary and engine is on a mount which flexes when you accelerate. This accordion stock piping allows some movement while the sturdy silicon does not. Its probably minimal but i wonder if it will end up cracking the airbox attach area or the silicon will pop out.
Just did the install. After turning on my car I get a check engine light. All the sensors are plugged in and all clamps are tight. Any reasons why I might be checking the check engine light?

Good video should help some folks out. I had to end up trimming the inlet about a 1/4 in for the air box to align as it wouldn’t seal on the bottom.

A little bit of dish detergent on the hoses makes them easier to slide on :)

The airbox has some play with the rubber bushings

Check engine light for what? Like what code? That code will point you in the right direction.

You aftermarket intake will come with something similar... these are for people who want keep the stock air boxes.

Maybe... and I was filming too... filming adds time to everything. The intakes on the vr30 are not easy to work with either...
