Jase you should read the motorcycle suspension bible, if you haven't. It provides good technical explanations for all of the inner workings of suspensions without getting too deep in the math and physics.
After I finally got my 125 suspension good I was able too just ride it wide open and pull the clutch lever in and never let off the throttle and was mad because I couldn't blow it up.
Suspension over a pipe first any day rather be able to control the bike first. always send out your suspension to get it re valved and suspension is linear what you do to your compression affects the rebound and vise versa
did you listen to the podast my dude? The first thing Carson said is to ride it stock then go from there. 95% of riders won't ever ride a stock bike to it's potential
@@matevasas Ofcourse I listened I just stated my opinion and what I choose to do I’ve ridden plenty of bikes brand new fresh suspension even when its broken in and it’s trash you can feel the difference. Just send out your suspension and you’ll thank me later

The biggest benefit to knowing suspension is getting to change it where you ride. Trail riding, MX, SX all different.
To make it more complicated, the back suspension also effects the front, same with sag and the chassis!
