Most fans and players I know from the last 30 years stopped watching darts. Boards are too easy to play on, fans are mostly clueless football fans and in general its all just a money making thing now. Long gone are the good old days of darts.

He’s 17 and he literally has the mental toughness and approach of a seasoned veteran already. Hats off to the lad. Absolutely love watching him. He’s given the sport the spark it needed and believe me, his journey is far from over

@@RayCist4051for me 160 is the 'easiest' of the 2 treble finishes. Most players best treble is t20 and a lot of players also have the d20 in their top3 doubles, I'd say at a level you start hitting occasional 180s you mostly train double 20/16/12/10/8/Bull/5/4 - at least I do. and I'd say 160 is only a tiny bit harder than 180, while 141 with switching target 2 times is one of the hardest 2 treble finishes were no Bullseye is needed.

Why is it called arrogant when you can do what you can do with relative ease. I'm in my late sixties and admire his extraordinary talent.
It’s impressive how he’s pushed on since the world championship and backed up his talent, he’s actually living up to the hype around him and showing he’s more than just a kid who hit a run of form for two weeks in December/January.
I havent followed darts for over a decade.... since Littler came on the scene i follow all of his games... what a phenomenon... keep it up Luke!

Three nine darters so far this year and it's only March, some players don't even perform three nine darters in their career, this young lad is phenomenal, for sure a future world champion

Let me take a moment to apologise in the name of German darts. That was totally inappropriate behaviour from Ricardo. He just came across as a sore loser. I understand the match meant a lot to him but he clearly wasn’t the better player - just shake his hand, say thanks and leave. It‘s not what the sport is about, but Luke took it well and he‘s shown class. All the best to him in the future👍

This is the best ever thing in darts for me, a new star who is amazing, who is not getting wound up by his opponents bad antics like Pikachu. Hope Luke wins lots this year, he is a great watch.

Ricardo is known for throwing his toys out of the pram, his behavior is nothing new. Great crowd in Belgium, the whistling clowns could learn a lot.
Because you mention the whistling idiots: Ricardo is actually known for repeatedly arguing with these people and emphasizing that he doesn't want to win that way. He seems to have a very strong sense of justice - but the fact that he said something to Luke about his arrogance and later wrote something was really inappropriate. If Luke wants to take nonsensical checkout routes, that's to the advantage of his opponent. What Luke says in the video is also obvious nonsense - he hardly ever hits tops (the statistics show that) - of course it was about getting under Ricardo's skin - it's a shame that Ricardo fell for it. What Luke does is absolute nxt lvl sht from a sporting point of view. Unfortunately, so is his attitude ...

I've thrown a 6-dart 301 double off, double finish. 160 away, followed by a 141 finish. Back in 1985. All the darts team bought my ale for the rest of the night. My best at 501 is 11 darts. Three 140s followed by an 81 finish.
