Omazing Paige is the other one I watch that just bought a camper. Love her! I watch Jenna Phipps too, she's great but I do miss her crochet videos now that she is doing renovations.
Good for you Michelle I'm so happy for you! I've wanted to buy a camper forever! Looking forward to watching you redecorate and having a space for your crafting things to "live" instead of having to get them out and put them away would be amazing. I can't even imagine what it's like to have to do the filming too so this will be so great for you ❤
second video in like a month a crochet youtuber has brought a camper and I'm taking it as a sign to bite the bullet and start saving up for one.
I lost my house in my divorce......just like you I wanted a caravan....our version of a camper trailer, and just like you I saved and looked and now I have a really lovely little camper and it's all mine and I love it as just like you I had to move home and start over. It's brilliant and you'll never regret it.
Congrats on the camper! Don't discount the kitchenette and bathroom! If this is going to be your workplace/studio, you'll want a Hot/Cold Beverage Station and a powder room so you don't have to go all the way back to the main house. Particularly in winter!

(oh...and the area between the cabinets in the "bedroom" would be a perfect spot for your sewing machine. My Husbeast did something similar for my piano) 😃
Be careful to check the caulking on the ceiling vents/skylights. They can easily become a spot for water to get in. And if a hookup is available, or it’s a non-hookup toilet, it might be good to keep it. Especially if you want to continue filming in the winter, it would be good not to have to go out into the cold and back into the house every time you have to use the bathroom.

We lived in an ‘85 Winnebago for two years, and it was in *incredible* condition. Just sat in someone’s garage until we got it. Saved us enough to buy a home.
i lived in my camper for many years and i loved the space, i had a 40ft toy hauler and it had a room at the back of the camper for vehicles and other stuff you need to haul and i turned it into my office ( i am a full time crocheter and quilter) i really enjoyed it,, cant wait to see how you redo the inside of yours

Regardless of any hobby, which are the essence of life, I believe that you will love your new home exponentially more is you instead of redesigning into a closet arama...that you appreciate what it actually has to offer.
Sleep in the bedroom, cook in the kitchen and furnish it to support your now independent life style that your new private living quarters offords.
Translation:
If you put all the energy, time and money into making your new place function better as a home...it will. If you do all this stuff to make it a better closet...when you need to live in it, you will not be able to.
IDEAS:
• consider swapping in a stove that you are comfortable cooking with
• install a bed that promulgates blissful sleep
• enhance the living areas to live in
After all, you could always add a crochet TENT outside, that from the inside, would appear to be a "room' ..)
Your an attractive young woman, you may decide that you want to entertain or simply enjoy some time with a guest???

Love the idea of your own craft space. I would like to clarify though, as someone who was there in the 70s and 80s, the colours and patterns you love are very much late 70s, not 80s.
Have you thought about dying yarn? You could use your little kitchen and bathroom for that!
Congrats! It will be so fun to have your own craft space! Speaking from experience, I would like to throw the suggestion out there to store all of your textiles in sealed bins...the mice out there can be savage 🙏🏻
Get a dehumidifier, fabric stored in the typical climate of a camper will get musty without one.

I would keep the walls lighter color so it doesn't look so dark for when you're working etc.

You should put like a small desk in that bedroom area. The tables might be good, but it’s also nice to have a desk space if you need more room to move around

Your couch might simply be bolted to a framework that is bolted to the trailer. It might only be a matter of 6 screws or so. It might be easier to remove than you think. Congratulations on your new home away from home 🎉
