great guide, here are some additions: - the parry actually immediately gives you the fully buff if you use it on reversal, so use it instead of up-block/flawlessblock where applicable - when at full guidance, tanya not only gains the teleport, but also slidy shoes(TM) on her dashes, which doesn't seem significant at first glance, but is actually pretty great, as you can now meaty f2 from the distance 3;1+3 leaves you on hit. Plus whiffpunnishing from backdashes is nutty - this is pretty much just lack of MU knowledge, so abuse it while it's fresh: b3 looks like a lowpoke, so many opponents just get clipped by b3,44 so you can up-punch (neutral Goro) to combo and once they respect it toss (back Goro) - for a bit more dmg on f2 confirms use kicks instead of drill into kameo - air strings are sadly pretty inconsisten and their usefulness strongly depends on g-scaling from whatever you've done before, gotta experiment a bit, but j2,1 cancels into EX projectile in some situations, when in doubt just j1,3,3 for damage

Hey man you're so amazing with Tanya question I've noticed in a combo when I do 2 then 1+3 for the second time there must be something I'm doing wrong with my Dash or timing because only the 2 hits the grab animation does not. It always misses. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Thanks
Nice breakdown man! Also anybody know if there is a way to unlock the original colour for this Tanya costume? I’m sure someone posted a screen grab from the story where it was gold armour and she had her signature black hair. Looked pretty awesome!
That is Tanya from Shang's era and it's actually a different skin altogether. It is currently locked and unreleased, but has been modded recently and shown on Reddit.

Tanya seems like a bit of a dark horse in MK1 at the moment. While not common, she can be extremely strong in the right hands!

I feel like this version on Tanya will be good for players who played MK11 with Jade as main due to all the ranges attack she has.
