Charon had his squad jump him because he has an ability to absorb and accumulate kinetic energy into his body from any attack that hit him
Basically more damage he takes the more his attacks get stronger
I think Charon ability is to collect energy to release it as heat so each time he gets hit or each time he moves he generates energy to release it as a explosion or fire(it’s been a while so I don’t remember the exact details of his ability but this is the shorten version to make it simple for others to understand)😅
