@@weekendfisherman8072 yes I know but I mean like just the bridge I used to go there all the time !☹️, my dad would take me every Saturday on bike rides and walks Before he passed , man you gave me good meme Orioles with this video!🙌🏻😔😞
Because of the distance from the coast to my home I no longer get to surf fish but I do enjoy watching the equipment reviews. For boat fishing, I have a pair of Diawa 27LC. I like the line counters and I have used these for crab snaring. The rods they are on are way too stiff for surf fishing! The reels however are pretty good for surfcasting. I have been looking at the KastKing Kodiak open face spinner as the base for my surf fishing rig. They seem to be a good value reel for someone like me that wouldn't use it too often. Keep us informed of your opinion of the new reel as time goes by. Likes and dislikes.
I think the Kodiak is design for saltwater use but you should check out the sharky 3 - that reel is also for saltwater use. When I surf fishing for perch or anything that bite; I like to go as light as I can

I am sure Texas has nice and big game along the coastline. Plus they have blue crabs.

Wow the beach is very calm. Every time I went there was pretty rough.
It depends on the tides and weather. A lot of time, it’s like a lake and there are time the wave can take you away if you are not careful.
