Glamis MLK2020 TRX250R In the dunes action

Good dunes, good weather, and good friends was the highlight of the 2020 MLK trip to the Glamis Sand Dunes. The RZR is still down so filming was done with the venerable 1989 Honda Fourtrax 250R backup ride. It’s all about being in the dunes regardless of what you bring. Even with a blown out silencer!
In this video we take a Saturday evening rip from the washes to Sunset Hill. Sunset Hill is getting too crowded and not really worth dodging the crowd to find a nice sunset in the dunes. We’ll find a better spot next trip.
During Thanksgiving 2019, I experimented in filming using an action gimbal, mounted chest style like a mountain bike. It was too much gas cap and not enough dunes, so filming this trip was back on the helmet. Priority one for this channel is video quality and we believe we are getting closer. I am from up in Canada. Drove 35 hours one way to get there my first time back in 2007. Made a few trips down there and even had a quad I bought down there to ride. Have a few friends down in southern California and Arizona still but sold all my quads and haven’t been back since about 10 years ago. I miss it every time I watch one of these videos. Everyone that gets to go there regularly doesn’t know how lucky they are ha ha.
