what I wanna know is why can they preserve a corpse so well but we can't get anti-aging creams tht really work?! haha
Shellbug-Michelle Greene qqqqqqq
Shellbug-Michelle Greene maybe because you can't stop aging without stem cells and preserving corpses is easier because they won't mind having all these things in them to preserve
Lolz🤣🤣🤣😂
If this is a dead corpse and not a mannequin, her mother is sick in the head to display her dead daughter in a store window!
She died a virgin therefore she's incorruptible
Did anyone else notice she has bags under her eyes?
That is a case of a disease that I hate called 'Heavy Make-Up' my Friend.
...and a little bit grey hair....
@@lorrainehutton3527 He mentioned, it's just a joke of the eyes and face moving
A wax figure can look real. However, the dark pigment around her finger comes from blood pooling post mortem. The heavy make up, the gray roots. the fact that every dress I've seen her in cover her neck ....maybe that's not as well preserved. You only ever see her face and hands.
Exactly! So many good points. I didn't even think about her hair!
+Mystic Musings I would love to travel and see her in person.
+tiffanyalg1984 I have and when you see her in person at night it gives us the chills to say the least
How do they change her dress without her breaking? And people say she is posed differently sometimes. Wouldn't the temperature need to be kept a certain temperature to prevent her from decaying under the wax? Couldn't they do an xray scan to see whats underneath?
tiffanyalg1984 I agree that wax figures look real...I've visited Madame Tussaud's in NY and it's amazing what she's done...I know this mannequin is old but the dark coloration around the fingernails is kind of strange...I wonder if someone ever attempted to scrape her hand or finger...I tell ya the texture would be different (although hardened) if is truly a mannequin, wax...Just guessing because I'm not a pathologist, anthropologist🤔
anyone else happen to notice that in the first picture she didn't have a sore in her mouth and on the last picture she did
Sharon Roblero that last pic looks like a different mannequin,
makeup smear not sore
Colleen Method yep, or it could just be a change in the lighting and positioning
That's a herpes sore.
Sharon Roblero I did wonder what that mark was, even if it was make up, why? My sister was a window dresser, you don’t put make up on them, years ago they painted red lips on them and eyeshadow, now the sometimes paint on light make up, but it’s painted! I wonder if she was embalmed then dipped in wax or something! Who knows! There is shadows under her eyes in the last photo and the whole head is at a different angle, the eyes look right at you, in the other photo, even though the photographer took it at a different angle, the head still looks slightly different from the last one and the eyes appear to be looking up and to the side!, those hands are real for sure, why would you have a model with blue fingertips and the nails with little chips and nicks like we all get, and she has grey roots, that’s very strange! One of the photos show her neck a bit and it looks strange.....anyway unless someone gets to open it up we will never know!
She died on her wedding day, that's just so upsetting 😟
X-RAY THE THING!!
I believe it's a well perserved corpse!!!, from the 1930's a woman who died in her late 20's early 30's,....
if they have to take her back to change. it's probably something hidden
looking it up on line every picture of her... all the dresses she wears covers her neck. Why? if it's just a mannequin why won't they put her in a straples wedding dress? I own a mannequin and it's an older one it is some what realistic but you definitely know it's a mannequin. This just looks to real and it really lools like a dead body.
Not all of her dresses have the neck covered. They just don't put wedding gowns on her without sleeves and a front bodice piece. Why? The mannequins on the sides of her can handle those better.
Which is an indications to me that she isn't wearing modern underpinnings and maybe wearing a corset. Which for the 1930's is not unusual for some mannequins.
I work around a skeleton that does move as they say she does. And knowing this - just know its all understandable as its simply air currents. Everything moves when fans are blowing and in some places fans are used overnight to keep cooler air in a building. I'd like to see footage of the mannequin at night shifting ones position.
Colleen Method Every picture I have looked up of her on line all the dresses cover her neck.
It’s because the head isn’t hers so they cover the neck where it is attached
ok doesn't the fact that there are only two people allowed to change her prove point to a cover up?
if this is true, as a mother, I don't think I would feel comfortable with my baby in a window..
SMITTEN kitten some mothers are queer
Unless she couldn’t bare to part with “her”.. sad and disturbing if so.
She was placed in the window in the 1930's. Every story and article i read never mentioned a mother.
that is a well preserved dead body no dout about it
doubt* And I agree
lol.. you're an idiot
@@Michael_00001 u r
@@feeteater6234 Michael Kirst 'you're' is correct. Your 'u r' is not. His is, proper English.
When I die I want a body like that's preserved
There is one thing I can tell you (seen this in person), her hands look very realistic... lots of fine lines and even tiny hairs! I'm sure those are a dead body's hands. I am from Chihuahua and I knew a girl who worked there, she said this mannequin had what seemed to be varicose veins in her legs (yikes!). By the way... her lashes, hair and eyebrows are real human hair, so go figure. Some parts of her body are legit, but the rest? Not sure... only those who have dressed her up know for sure.
HabibaDiva is it a corpse?
HabibaDiva ι
Althea Delos Reyes what a corpse?
Maybe its real and the only fake part is the head but who knows
And look at the bags under the eyes a little bit...mannequins don't have bags...this shit is creepy af!
She was alive 100% so spooky
I would love to meet her in person right now because I feel sorry for her on her beautiful wedding day.
Pierre Imans made some INCREDIBLY realistic mannequins back in the1930s
This was likely commissioned to look like her daughter “the eternal bride”
The elongated neck on the mannequin is something Pierre was known for...
The reason the staff don’t speak out is because it keeps people coming to the shop... urban legend at 5:03 it literally shows you the display says “home of the pasqualita” they are just trying to make a buck
I'm sorry but did anyone notice the different skin color from the ending of her neck it's a tan color and from neck to head is like a yellow color as if it was a mask over her head???? 5:31
Tanessa Miller20p You're absolutely correct! Check at 4:07 too. Clear difference in the skin colours. Also, if you see the daughter's original pic, she did have a broad and short neck. So body down must be real.
looks real, those hands tell all, come on..
shouldn't someone just get a policeman to check it
Olivia Macpherson
Olivia Macpherson yes the smell must make people sick right
A crime wasnt committed,so a policeman wouldnt bother. In some countries its not illegal to put corpse9 on display. But in the U.S i think it would be called mishandling a corpse.
This is truly amazing!
I don't know if anyone noticed that there is a cup or whatsoever is lying near her maybe maybe its for her or kind of to feed her......😨
Look in her ears .If there's a hole and little fine hairs in it.Its no mannequin.
Peter Piazza or her nose
4:13 look at the lips!! They are exactly the same!
Looks real to me, not alive but a real person preserved.
Does anyone else notice the strange difference of color from the bottom of the neck to the chest the neck is a yellow color while the chest is not it looks like a mannequin head on a human body MAYBE the head is fake but the rest is real
Maria Monroe yes I notice that I thought it was strange maybe the head got cut off and they put an mannequin on the head
Tiffy Wiffy yikes! Sounds like it's from a horror movie!
Or maybe its a mask they put on the real face
yana meow
Yeah probably the original face was showing signs of aging.
she's incredibly beautiful
ok three problems with this just being a very realistic mannequin. first of all, i dont know of any mannequin who can wear different eyeshadow to match her outfits. there are pictures of her with dark eyeshadow on. it doesnt look photoshopped either. second, i dont know of ANY mannequins who have holes in their nostrils that arent blocked. this "mannequins" nostrils are not sealed (for lack of a better word). and they arent perfect. most mannequins have perfect symmetry. and finally, what mannequin has real fingernails?? you can tell the fingernails on a mannequin arent real and most of them look like their hands were made by a cast. her hands look completely real. down to the imperfections of her cuticles. either shes a corpse or whomever made her deserves a medal!! someone said it just isnt possible for a corpse to hold up for all as long as she has. well, tell that to the incorruptible saints of the catholic church. of course theyre all HEAVILY embalmed and sculpted with wax. no, it most certainly is possible for a corpse to hold up for however long a person takes care of them.
RIGHTEOUS APPLE PIE
you won a prize for scaring the living hell out of me!
Looks real to me.. Wow
I definetly think this is a human corpse. Why don`t they admit to it, you ask. Well, because this could possibly (legally) fall under "mutilation of a dead body" which is actually a criminal offense. They might be worried about legal consequences if they admitted to this being a real dead body.
AND I'm sure getting tons of free PR for their shop.
she is real to me and she is in a beautiful wedding dress.
Freaky as hell 😱
Its the real thing. Its her
this mannequin is worthy of more respect than it is given. she is over 80 years old and still in working condition. her preservation is not from formaldehyde but from TLC of the owner and staff. I would love to see it elevated to the wonderful piece of art that she is, with her beauty and integrity. for the sake of this amazing mannequin, put a halt on the dead corpse thing and move on.
No one dare to investigate this?
As you can see they just put on the head some mask and i noticed it so many times..
well made art.
why cant somebody have forensic test to solve the mistery whether she is a real corpse or not !
You cant make a corpse look realistic its been decades since she died so its just the corpse being covered in a type of wax real perfect
Well look how well preserved the baby Rosario lambardo is. She is 100 yrs old. But she is in a certain kind of glass coffin to keep her in that state. Yet I have to admit, this mannequin looks very much like she is real. The nails look so real it s freaky. And as far as employees not talking, contracts!!! That are law a binding.
Also if you notice her nails have curled in like they dried out and curled in on the skin. I 100% think it’s a corpse.
it looks like a dead body its creapy
Juanita Chvostovsky do u know what corpse mean ???
I believe anything is possible so this really may be a corpse but she's kept at the store window, wouldn't it have to be maintained at a certain temperature so that it does not melt or decompose?
I think it’s heartbreaking she lost her life on her wedding day so sad
Real. Yes, very disturbing.
she's got my heart
very easy to tell, have a DNA test done.
If she was really the owners daughter who died in 1930 the mother wouldn't still be alive to deny it was her daughter. Not many small independent shops last that many years.
I caught that too. I've heard several people lately on UA-cam mention people and they aren't adding up the actual age these people would be. If this woman was 14 when she had the girl say and the girl was 14 in 1930 (estimating low)...the youngest she would be would be 101 at least. It's possible but not probable.
Jenn Pfeiffer the original owner is dead and it is now run by a guy i don’t remember his name but she did deny it was her daughter when she was still alive obviously
She would still be alive my great grandmother was born in 1930
Ikr.
My great grandmother was born in 1919 and she died at 84 so its not too far off at all really
The hand looks real
It's a dummy, an embalmed corpse cannot look that realistic after being out in the open for so long, and even a 'perfectly embalmed' corpse like Lennens has to have a team of scientists looking after it and is still about 80% wax, and you can't Taxadermy a human without it looking like some crazy freaky horror show, sorry to burst your bubble guys but it's not realisticly possible
her hands are to real, I think that is a dead person, her hands are to real!
She is so beautiful too
It's the embalming that it preserves a body, see the Evita Peron's story
In the picture at 4:06 you can see the mannequin head put on over a dummy or corpse or whatever but the hands look realistic so idk
er neck looks ridiculously long. I'd need to see a clear photo of the real woman's body shape to buy into this corpse thing. And as for the lock and key dress change: maybe the shop wants people to think it's a real body. The dress fashion may be cultural but the one they stuck her in...eh. The myth is probably the only thing that keeps that shop alive. Of course it gives people the creeps. It doesn't have to be real to creep people out.
Ashley Brewer true but maybe there's a metal bar placed in her neck to keep her head upright if that's the case then that might cause her neck to appear elongated especially if she was a real person who had naturally long neck to begin with
Corse they want ppl to think its real if its not. Great advertising for the store and sales.
Also supposidly its not the original head and she comes back looking for it at night.
Yeah the head isn’t original so they might have had to add a fake neck too
Ashley Brewer they should just x ray it
I looked up old Manikins and none have the Detail on the hands like she does.
I don't if she is real or not, but the gowns are gorgeous.
She certainly is a marvel but a dead body? If you google deathmasks and hand casts, you may move away from the dead body theory, but it's a great urban myth non the less and still very creepy!
My God there's not fake about that ....this gives me chills.
The hands really freak me out...
did anyone else notice in the first few pics her lip didn't have a sore and in the last one there was one on her lip :o
In the 80s, shops began hiring human mannequins. They could stand so still for hours at a time, then change position to a show more features of the garments. Maybe this is what is happening.
How do they keep her eyes open ?
That. Is. Defnatly. A. Corps
I just watched a video about her in Ask a mortician's channel ..watch her video and you'll get to know that it's a mannequin not a corpse
i also notice the type of wedding dress she always has on goes all the way up the neck to hide wrinkles maybe?
The mannequin is smiling in the last pic when the video ends.
Yeah, i used to be in a soft ball team with her... The black labs baseball league...
Her hair doesn't look real. It looks like a wig.
Orpha Noctilusca the head isn’t original
The body may be but not the head
Neely 22 yeah.. possible i too thought that but now that I have realized that i've never seen a mannequin with nostrils... Idk what to think anymore
in "Ask a mortician" debunked this as well as some of incorrupt corps of a saint
Good ol' Pascualita. I doubt that she's
A L I I I I I I V E after death, but back in the day embalming techniques had reached great heights. During the Civil War, embalming practices became quite advanced, and families received relatively recognizable bodies of their slain loved ones. When rumors began to circulate that grave robbers were planning to attack Lincoln's sealed vault some decades after his death, a select group of Pinkertons, grave diggers, and engineers opened his casket to remove the remains to another site.
The son of one of the men was in attendance. He recalled that, except for mold on the President's face, he looked exactly as he had in life.
Numerous people were embalmed with this or similar potions and their caskets were left with "viewing windows" so grieving loved ones could refresh themselves with a look at the dead face, perfectly preserved. These fluids are now banned.
Here is one account of the Lincoln body-moving tale; the one I first read included the detail that Lincoln's dead face "haunted [his] nights" for many months after the event.
A book is evidently out about this, too.
wesclark.com/jw/last_man.html
i think shes' real she is not face she is a real corpse brde
If you've ever done hair plugs on a doll you'll know this is just a very beautiful mannequin. Plus a corpse can't be stood up this long without the feet being ruined (check out Eva Perons nasty feet). Dolls can be made to look scarily life-like. I assume the shop owners like the air of mystery this brings them.
Beautiful princess waiting for her Prince
Yes
The fact that they have not got rod of this mannequin and buy a new one is sus
Why hasn't a local Medical Examiner, if any came forward to examine/confirm this might be myths about this mannequin.
yeah many corpse are there but thier eyes are open??????????? isnt that weird
Jeswin Tom Thayil I think the head is fake but the body may be real so they might have made a replica of a head and made the eyes open to make it look prettier
Actually a lot of people to think it was a spider but it was in scorpion in reality
That’s a real person, look at the eyes and nose and lips hands and the hands what mannequin from any era had hands like that? Possible buuut....unless the hands are from another dummy
It looks so real and why they cant change it in the open
not even REMOTELY possible.
brutal
It's crazy she is beautiful but creepy at the same time
I think it's neat, she didn't get to show her dress of at her wedding, and now she gets to.i might be wrong though.
Which manequin has eye nerves on white area 😦😦😦
next fairy world to me I never seen lines in an m shape if you look at our hands a lot of humans have that I've never seen that in a mannequin the fingernails are to grow
Vanessa Darnell what??
Dead Body or not, this dummy is beautiful!
Don't believe a corpse can be preserved for 85years.
Too me she looks real not a manaquin.Thats amazeing how well preserved she has stayed
it was a scorpion that killed her
Yorkie Mom i heard it was a spider
+Briana Sanchez Caraveo so what killed her?
Yorkie Mom a black widow spider killed her.
My grandmother and granfarther live there
HER NAME IS HEATHER OOOOF
If you look at 5:34 u can see that her neck is a different colour than her body?
I live there and I was going to see my grandma and we have to live early and we sowe her move here hand yes she is a dead body my grandma use to work there and she left because she felt like she was watching here and did not feel constable
tbh i feel sad for her, if thats her dead body(i think it is cuz of her nails are curled and way to realistic)
her soul might trapped and not rest in peace for decades
and the mom was crazy, if she loves her baby she should let her baby rest in peace, not displaying her at the store's window..
Remember people this is Mexico
It is far too detailed. Take the hands; on a standard manikin they are just smooth, usually overly long and thin with that only a hint at fingernails, whereas La Pascualita's hands are absolutely and perfectly life-like. This could only be achieved by making a cast, plaster or whatever. It can't be a corpse, if you were to cover a corpse in wax, or anything, whilst it was still intact and held bodily liquids, it would expand and burst due to the decomposition gasses that build up. Other tissues would liquefy and lose their integrity resulting in collapse and expansion, dependant on the tissue. If corpse were desiccated, ie., dried of all liquids, then it would shrivel and, even covered in wax, certainly not look like La Pascualita. I would say she is made from a wax cast. Why anyone would go to all that trouble? Your guess is as good as mine.
I think that her face and neck is artificial but the body below the neck is real
4:16 her neck is really long. Also, there would be an odor no matter how well preserved. Lastly, in these times it would be confirmed if it were a real body or not.
Apparently there is an odour smell in the shop
AraniHDUB278 does it like smell bad????
Arani HDUB278
Have you been there?
