I was in my car and TOTALLY thought someone was messing with me knocking on the back window

Last season I was silver 1, this season I got gold 5. I know I’m still considered “bad” but I’m super happy about getting to gold!

In plat/ diamond, a tank diff is enough to determine who wins. You just can’t win a game when your only tank is dying before every team fight.
@@ShanyeSoT And it's annoying for tank players too : as a solo tank, your mistakes have more impact, which is not a pleasant feeling. In particular, you are much more afraid of trying things a bit risky because you know that if it fails, the team will lost the team fight...
@@strassblurb Yeah I know that very well, as an OW1 tank main. It just sucks to play the role because like you said, a single mistake can lose you a team fight, and then you get blamed for throwing the game. Meanwhile, DPS can have 3x your deaths and half your damage, but they’re not held accountable.
Only way to counter a tank diff is if the DPS are willing to play with the tank and/ or put extra pressure on their tank. Unless they’re just getting picks left and right, in which case you wouldn’t be getting tank-diffed lmao

5 giga stack vs 3 randos and 1 duo ? Yeah that's 100% the QP matchmaking we've had for years.
Why do you guys think they took the ablity to directly see who is partied with who, back in the day ? Cuz people kept leaving QP matches cuz they saw how unfair the match is going to be. Blizzard never fixes problems. They HIDE them.
Just so I understand why you're upset, you dislike that high level players can group together because it means sometimes the enemies aren't grouped?
Because they were a 4 stack, not a 5 stack. They even commented on the extra ana being a goat. Match making also puts groups up against other groups.

16:45 Hearing what Somnus said makes me wish that my old OW group are still around…none of them plays Overwatch anymore and I’m here still playing but mainly solo queueing.
Though for season nine, I can feel the extra hp buff. I noticed I have been living often on situations where I will certain die before the health buff. I have been playing Tanks more so far and I kinda agree with Flats saying the role does feel better than before. That extra hp buff is helpful. Gonna have to experiment other roles.
A 5stack of friends can be either very chaotic, or cooperative. There isnt no between

ok so normally i don't watch these ranked vids because its just Flats and one of his friends getting tilted and mad at the game, but this was fun to watch because they weren't suffering as bad! this was a good vid!
At 4:14 when you got naded despite shielding, it looks like your shield split the nade making it hit behind it upon splashing lol very unfortunate timing.
If you put in 0.25x speed you can see it hit before he shields
@@duman173 After slowing it down and carefully watching, you can see that before the nade splashes, his shield button is pressed. Idk if there's some delay to the shield deploying visuals in correlation to the actual deployment of it, but the third-person view is activated while it splashes too. Of course his ping could play a role too, but this would be difficult to accurately test. I'm curious if people know the actual answer to this theory.

If I'm understanding this correctly, does the new damage passive mean you don't really need to get the supports before the tank anymore? because it sounds and looks like you can just mindlessly shoot the tank and kill them now.

safe to say after the third time, I'm not..
Even though hanzo can no longer one shot some people forget he is still a menace. Everyone’s health has just gone up the damage is still the same and it’s easier to hit headshots more. Went from 35% to 45% accuracy.
I play (mostly QP) as a duo and it feels like 75% of games we're matched against 5 stacks. We're both masters level. The opponents usually have at least 1 GM title. I just wish the game would tell me who is in a group so I could plan accordingly.
I still think its dumb they took that away.

Reduced healing, 25% more damage, 33% stronger melees, and self heal with jump all combo together very well.

What the hell are you talking about?! Monkey has to be the most useless character at the moment with his inability to do anything for his team. Shield goes “pop” in 1 second and his gun does literally nothing since the new update. Avoid tank this season buddy
@@ODEditz08 I've had success diving anas, zens, ashes and widows, shielding over them just to secure me enough time to get the kill and jump out. Monkey doesnt do much for the team besides dive supports/snipers in the first place. What rank we talking anyway?
edit: melee buff helps, and I like to think he fares well with the extra 50 armor/25 health
@@FappleJackity Once again I’ll say that the bubble doesn’t last one second in the current version of the game. Rein’s shield does the same in like 3 seconds maybe even shorter because of the damage increase. Winston can’t do anything against most healers because of their “get out of jail free card” abilities. Reaper and Cassidy are controlling the field of play right now and Winston is absolutely useless against those two. So if you plan on playing Winston, prepare to be the center of hate comments and being reported for throwing when you lose every match.
@@ODEditz08 I think you're playing monkey sub-optimally and bubbling the wrong things. I use my bubble exclusively for myself, and sometimes to cover a doorway as I retreat. Try playing him like a flanking DPS. Engage targets you've already weakened with his right click and followup on any burst damage your team does. Reaper is a non-issue most of the time for me. I engage him when he's low and avoid him (and turret form bastion) unless they're weak. Haven't played against many cass's this season tbh, but poking him to low hp would be effective with his low mobility. I like to force the healers to pop cooldowns on right click damage and force them to make bad decisions. 20-4 is my estimated average in kills/deaths in the past few days.
@@FappleJackity I do NOT need a coaching lesson from you. I don’t plan on playing Winston and I never have. I just want you to know that any Winston I have seen has been absolutely destroyed any time they try to dive, despite having an Ana and Moira to support him. So you go ahead and play Winston, but just know now if I see a Winston and I’m DPS, I’ll hunt him down and deter people like you from ruining other people’s game experiences.
I’ve had so much fun running Rein/Lucio on new patch (as both the Rein and playing as Lucio)! I hope brawl ends up being in the meta
I’ve played about 6 hours on the new patch. Mostly tank. I feel like tank as a whole got nerfed because you have 20% less heals meaning your supports can’t help as much. But with the extra hp poke and dive seem much stronger because you have an extra 100 hp or more to keep you up from burst dmg. Brawl feels dead tho
New Season looks interesting. Might redownload OW2 to try it tbh.

zarya is actually a big winner because of the projectile sizes easy to get bubble charge
The hitbox is insane. Its actually funny how big the hitbox is makes tracer look like a freaking god.
So the shielded ana-nade, that exploded INFRONT of him thanks to its hitbox being bigger. For the selfhealing Tanks, Hog and Mauga should have their healing make them immune to the reduction while active, maybe for Queen increase how much she heals from wound damage. Or they just tweak the passive so it only reduces healing from other sources.

I think the bigger thing than tanks living a bit more is that they can actually kill things now (need a dps player sure in some situations but I'll take it).
Having a stronger quick melee and not needing to be at point blank range to do any damage feels amazing as Doomfist.

@Crusty_Sword What bugs? You are not GQO, you do not play enough DF to actually notice them in a game. The actual median gameplay experience has improved, that's what matters. Speak from experience or don't speak at all.

His median is the same and if not he’s even more reliant on emp punch to secure a kill making him even more boring, I am not a high rank because I was only low masters

@@tau-5794 I mean it's not impossible he is running into bugs or more variation of bugs than you. Doom bugs usually are map, playstyle, or opposing hero match-up dependent.

Rein and Winston's damage going up doesn't change their breakpoints, but what it does do is weakens the ability of healing to out-heal their damage, which is more important when dueling in a teamfight.
Some tanks do definitely need changes as far as I can tell, Ball and Mauga stand out to me. Some ideas:
Increase Ball's impact damage, not sure exactly what it is now but 50 sounds like a good number.
Increase proximity mines' health from 50 to 60, AOE damage like from Winston is going up and it's kinda silly that Doomfist can still wipe an entire minefield with just slam.
Mauga's overhealth passive should be buffed back to 60% generation, he's not going to heal as much anymore so he needs some other way to stay in a fight.

What happened to wide groups? I thought Blizzard promised that we could team up with a wider set of skilled teammates. Instead, we still have the 2 skill rating lock out. So my plat friend can’t team with my bronze 5 friend.
