I've been searching for around a year, watching countless videos on UA-cam, Facebook, Google search the lot, and then I stumbled on your gardens, and I'm blown away, and I'm sitting here now writing all the names of your fantastic plants, and flowers lol thank you for sharing 🙌🤝👌
Say what you want, there is nothing else like a Limelight Hydrangea. The newer cultivars are nice, but the limelight is just so white & classical. Hands down my favorite plant.
Hydrangeas are my favorite shrub. I wish I planted more in my garden. I absolutely adore your garden. I watch your videos over and over. Simply gorgeous 💕
Wow 😮 Your garden is so beautiful. I love the video. So relaxing 😌. I love all the Hydrangeas. You’ve done an amazing job. God bless you and your family 🙏🏾
Your garden/landscape is *PHENOMENAL* I LOVE hydrangeas. There the only flowers I buy most frequently, so this was right up my alley. I just planted some today in my yard! I pray that they'll do well. This was a lovely video. Thanks for letting us into your yard. 😉
You are supper sweet! Thank you! The hydrangeas look “bad” right now as the heats kicks in but will definitely be much better next years once they get well rooted in. Enjoy
I do love your hydrangeas. Here on the westcoast, we get so much rain that hydrangeas really thrive here. I can plant them anywhere, even in clay soil and it wouldn't matter. So I am planting a variety throughout my garden. I only wish my other plants are as easy.
Hydrangeas are truly amazing plants 🪴…and your are absolutely right about them being easy. I too wish other plants like roses and clematis being as easy too. 🙏🙏🙏
Greetings from South Africa🇿🇦The best garden tour ever, thank you for sharing. Your beds are gorgeous! You have used plants that are available globally and best of all you label everything👍🏻. I have gained so many ideas for my currently very empty new island.
What a beautiful display of flowers in yr garden! Those hydrangeas are truly show stopping, I love how they actually brighten up the whole garden. You really have given me some ideas....👍🏾
I am fist ! Beautiful garden! I live in Toronto region too. I am glad I found you, late for this season but subscribed for next season and to see you beautiful garden👏👏
This is the second video I watched of yours and I subscribed to see more of your gorgeous garden. I love the panical hydrangeas. I own the pinky winky and the bobo. They definitely fit into my romantic, cottage wildlife garden view. This is my second gardening year and I already see so many things I want to add or change to the garden. I started from scratch with fully paved and graveled garden. By looking at gardens like yours, inspires me to find out what plants are my favourites and I want to focus on. I have a lot to learn in designing a garden and finding out my own style within the cottage garden theme.
This is my garden related UA-cam channel, I try to watch and comment on garden related videos with this channel. But accidentally was still on the other channel. Now you have two subscribers from the same person😉 I'm located in The Netherlands btw and I am in gardening zone 8b✌🏻
Hi Tracey, your garden is one of the most beautiful garden in Canada, just lovely to watch all the plants blooming so beautifully. just love it so much.
Came across you video today and I must say your back garden is looking like my front garden, am working on the back garden it's a challenge I have very poor soil, thanks for sharing, BEAUTIFUL COLORS!
Amazing garden tour as usual Trace!! Make us a video (if u haven't yet) on how you care for those magnificent pinnacle hydrengas.. tell us all about your fertilizing and pruning and things like that.. would be helpful for people like me.
Oh my goodness what a lovely garden and you are an awesome gardener. I’m inspired to add more varieties of hydrangeas to my garden. Your presentation and teaching is so easy to absorb. Thank you. From your neighbor across Lake Erie in Cleveland Ohio.
Thank you so much MKP 💚😁💚 for your kind comment. I’m glad you find it relatable. Hydrangeas provide so much beauty for many months and that’s why I like them the most. Hope you plant more to enjoy in your garden. Happy gardening neighbor!
Tracy, I just stumbled on your channel. Your garden is absolutely beautiful ❤️. So happy you're in Toronto as well and same zone. Thank you for sharing.
What a beautiful garden you have!!! Love all the hydrangeas. We just move to a new house with bigger yard. Just planted 10 hydrangeas this year. And you give me alot of ideas. Merci! Excited for Spring! 🌿
Thank you so much Fil Can….hydrangeas are my absolute fav plants in the garden 🪴. I don’t think there are many plants like hydrangeas that look beautiful for so many months of the year. I can’t wait for spring as well (our Canadian winter can be very long and dark 😁).
What a perfectly gorgeous garden you have! I am looking for new hydrangea varieties to add to my front beds...I have more "mophead" bushes than I can count...I just cannot get enough of that blue color! But I really want to branch out into some of the "newer" (to me) offerings. After watching your video I can safely say that 2 absolute MUSTS are Limelight, Little Lime and Vanilla-Strawberry. I typically prefer the round bloom to the panicle shape, but again...your video has certainly changed my mind on that score! I just found you and will certainly be back. You're just terrific! And your voice...so very soothing...and I love the fact that you've left out the music. I am a music fanatic but somehow I prefer just the human voice in my gardening videos. Weird!
The Blue Jangles have the most beautiful “blue” tone. Our native soil is slightly alkaline and the blooms tend to be on the pink side. I apply a handful of soil sulfur every fall (and spring) to keep the pH just below 7 so I could get the blue/purple colour. The panicle hydrangeas are very reliable bloomers in our northern zone 5 gardens - Macrophyllas don’t tend to do well for us without protection. Hence, I have many panicle hydrangeas. Like you I started my 1st garden some 17+ years ago with all mopheads (and smooth) hydrangeas but blooming was always unpredictable because of our frequent late frost. I tried replacing them with macs that bloom on new wood like Endless Summer lines of macs but I still didn’t find them very reliable. In the last 12 years, we have moved and started two gardens - I think I have learned to love all varieties of panicle hydrangeas. If only I had more room to plant. Happy shopping for new hydrangeas. 💚💚💚
Wow this must be the most beautyful garden I have ever seen. And all the butterflies... what a dream. I will definately copy a lot of these ideas and combinations of plants ;-)
Love love your hydrangea collection. They all look stunningly beautiful! I am building my collection as well. Planted a lot of limelight and Annabel. Last year. Can’t wait for them to bloom! The limelight tree is such an enjoyment for the eyes. I Just bought two at Costco online. Waiting for the arrival. It’s going to be my long weekend project!
Thank you Weimin Sun! Hydrangeas are my absolute fav summer blooming plants. They provide so much beauty for so many months of the year…I’m sure you will love them. Happy gardening Weimin. 💚💚💚
@@TracysHomeGarden could you tell me how many years did it take your hydrangea tree to grow into this size? I want to set my expectations once I plant them in my yard. Thanks!
I started the Limelight trees from a single stem 5 years ago. It took 2 years to get to the same size as what you could get from the nursery. So I guess the limelight trees would be equivalent to “3 years” old. If you plant one now, it would be 3-4 years to look like mine.
Very enjoyable video Tracy 👍 just love your garden. tfs your hard work with us! I also planted a tiny blood good maple tree in my south facing backyard last year. It was in a 2 gallon like yours and this year, it’s already thriving. I still have the supporting stakes to support it, wondering if I should remove it yet. I love how cute it looks. I also love your crimson queen tree. I want one of those too, some day. Pandemic brought on the joy of gardening for me.
It is a beautiful plant Suzanne. Don’t remove the stake just yet…but do keep an eye on the tape as it may get “trapped” and grown into the trunk of the tree…😀….mine did! I forgot to check and last summer I could see a little piece of tape sticking out the sides of the trunk. Happy gardening Suzanne! 💚🪴💚
i love your garden. The front is gorgeous as well as the backyard. the hydraneas are absolutely beautiful. chlorosis is an iron deficiency. ironite at lowes or home depot will clear up the chlorosis.

If you need to prune, after this period of blooming will be okay. If you prune the stems in August or September, you will have removed their blooms next season. Also, they will probably be best in a location that gets morning sun (east direction) and not west or south as the intense afternoon sun will burn their leaves. They also do need water so don’t forget to give them a good drink of water every 2 days or so if you get no rain. They will provide so much colour for so many months so you will definitely love them. Happy garden Tiffany. 💚🙏💚

your garden is a total inspiration and motivation for me. Do you happen to have a tutorial on how you created the limelight standard? I would love to learn how to do that.
