Wes needs to humble himself and be very careful to walk that narrow line between the ego and the spirit. He doesn't have the authority on truth nor does he know everything. There are certain people amongst us that can reveal the truth about the crucifixion that Jesus was never crucified. It never happened.
As a Christian I actually like Alex O’Conner, I feel like he is more genuine than most atheists and he is seeking. I agree that a conversation between him and Wes would likely be productive
@@majorcajun5524 No, he’s not truly seeking. While he has a good appearance and is very self-aware, the only ‘seeking’ he does is aimed at disproving. True seekers examine the universe with reasoning and recognize that the fine-tuning of existence is too precise to be attributed to chance. They genuinely seek to understand and connect with the Creator, rather than seeking ways to deny or dismiss Him.

Even if it is granted 100% preservation for the sake of Argument, it is still a Perfectly Preserved Lie from the Father of lies to deny the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ which are the Essential Sound Doctrines of Biblical Christianity!

No, there is no verse in the Quran that explicitly states that the Bible has authority over the Quran. However, there are verses in the Quran that acknowledge the Torah (Tawrah) and the Gospel (Injil) as divine revelations given to earlier prophets, such as Moses and Jesus. The Quran emphasizes that these scriptures were revealed by God, but it also asserts that the Quran is the final and most complete revelation, superseding earlier scriptures. "And We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it. So judge between them by what Allah has revealed..." (Quran 5:48) The black guy does not know what he is talking about
Quran 10:94 - "If you are in doubt go use a corrupted text as the authority over the Quran to confirm that the Quranic stories are actually true, but it should line up with the Quran because at the end of the day only the Quran is true🤓"
5:48 The Qur'ān does accord authority to the Torah & Gospel, but it does not say that said scripture is "corrupt" as Avery alleges. What the Qur'ān specifically says (Q.2.75) is that a faction of them (فَرِيقٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ) has corrupted the Scripture.
Q 2:75 isn’t about textually corrupting the Bible. It’s about how some group would understand it but would corrupt it through misinterpretation. “Do you ˹believers still˺ expect them to be true to you, though a group of them would hear the word of Allah then knowingly corrupt it after understanding it?”

Keep in mind that the idea that the Quran is perfectly preserved is purely a theological one, not held by any academic scholars who are experts in mss, orthography, classical Arabic and Muslim sources. Historically, we have authentic Islamic sources which show the contrary, we have a long and complicated history of canonization which shows the contrary, we have numerous manuscripts which show the contrary and we have current Arabic Qurans with clear contradictions which show the contrary. Many Muslims are not aware of these, don't look at them or dismiss them in creative way. No serious scholar will agree with them - even Islamic scholars over the ages pointed out problems. Both, Dr. Yassir Qadhi and Dr. Shabir Ally, two highly educated Islamic scholars, explain that there are different Arabic texts of the Quran which contains different words (NOT dialectical differences). Dr. Ally explains that Muslim scholars never held the "perfect preservation" view, references the Sana'a as an example, and explains that only average Muslims without bothering to learn parrot the perfect preservation narrative. Dr. Qadhi lies to the average Muslims as he says that not a letter has changed, but then when he talks to a more educated people, he never says that. He also explains that preservation issues brought forth by non-Muslim academics (who have a much higher level of scrutiny, and don't have "red lines" as he says) cannot be answered by traditional Muslim understnading (even by the best Muslim scholars) in the way they need to be answered. Here are just a few of the most trusted early sources which immediately cast doubt on perfect preservation, without even looking at the Quran: Ibn Kahtir, commenting on Q33:6 explains that Ibn Masud, Ibn Abbas, ibn Kab and Muawiyah (Muhammad's closest companions and whom Muhammad said to learn the Quran from) "hardly ever recited the above verse [Q33:6] without saying 'seeing that he is as a father to them'". This is not in the Uthmanic Arabic Quran. This is also explained in Tabari and Abdullah Yusuf (who mentions the qiraats), and numerous other scholars, who explain that this it at variance to the (later) version of Utham. Didn't Muhammad's closest compannions know better than Uthman? Which version is correct, which in heaven on golden tablet? Narrated Zaid bin Thabit Al-Ansari: who was one of those who used to write the Divine Revelation: Abu Bakr sent for me after the (heavy) casualties among the warriors (of the battle) of Yamama (where a great number of Qurra' were killed). 'Umar was present with Abu Bakr who said, 'Umar has come to me and said, The people have suffered heavy casualties on the day of (the battle of) Yamama, and I am afraid that there will be more casualties among the Qurra' (those who know the Qur'an by heart) at other battle-fields, whereby a large part of the Qur'an MAY BE LOST, unless you collect it. And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur'an." - Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 201 It is reported from Ismail ibn Ibrahim from Ayyub from Naafi from Ibn Umar who said: "Let none of you say 'I have acquired the whole of the Qur'an'. How does he know what all of it is when much of the Qur'an has disappeared? Rather let him say 'I have acquired what has survived.'" (as-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur'an, p.524). Ibn Umar was a companion of Muhammad. Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, one of the early authorities on the Qur'an text and a companion of Muhammad, is reported to have said to the reciters of Basra: We used to recite a surah which resembled in length and severity to (Surah) Bara'at. I have, however, forgotten it with the exception of this which I remember out of it: "If there were two valleys full of riches, for the son of Adam, he would long for a third valley, and nothing would fill the stomach of the son of Adam but dust". ( Sahih Muslim, Vol. 2, p.501). Abu Musa went on to say: We used to recite a surah similar to one of the Musabbihaat, and I no longer remember it, but this much I have indeed preserved: 'O you who truly believe, why do you preach that which you do not practise?' (and) 'that is inscribed on your necks as a witness and you will be examined about it on the Day of Resurrection'. (as-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur'an, p.526). Zirr ibn Hubaish reported: "Ubayy ibn Ka'b said to me, 'What is the extent of Suratul-Ahzab?' I said, 'Seventy, or seventy-three verses'. He said, 'Yet it used to be equal to Suratul-Baqarah and in it we recited the verse of stoning'. I said, 'And what is the verse of stoning'? He replied, 'The fornicators among the married men (ash-shaikh) and married women (ash-shaikhah), stone them as an exemplary punishment from Allah, and Allah is Mighty and Wise."' (As-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur'an, p.524) It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.” These verses were abrogated in recitation but not ruling. Other ahadith establish the number for fosterage to be 5. - Hasan Ibn Majah 1944 A'isha (Allah be pleased with, her) reported that it had been revealed in the Holy Qur'an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur'an (and recited by the Muslims). - Sahih Muslim 1452a Abu Ubaid in his Kitab Fada'il-al-Qur'an says: Ibn Abi Maryam related to us from Ibn Luhai'a from Abu'l-Aswad from Urwa b. az-Zubair from A'isha who said, "Surat al-Ahzab (xxxiii) used to be recited in the time of the Prophet with two hundred verses, but when Uthman wrote out the codices he was unable to procure more of it than there is in it today." From Masud, whom Muhammad said to learn the Quran, we learn about Uthman's Quran: Mas'ud disliked Zaid bin Thabit copying the Musahif, and he said: 'O you Muslim people! Avoid copying the Mushaf and the recitation of this man, by Allah, when I accepted Islam he was but in the loins of a disbelieving man' - meaning Zaid bin Thabit - and it was regarding this that 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: 'O people of Al-'Iraq! Keep the Musahif that are with you, and conceal them. For indeed Allah said: And whoever conceals something, he shall come with what he concealed on the Day of Judgement (3:161). - Sahih Jami at-Tirmidhi 3104 And, read Sahih Muslim 818a below and notice that BOTH Umar and Hisham were of the same tribe and would use the same dialect, furthermore, since they were around Muhammad during his life, shouldn't they know that the Quran was revealed in different ways? Muslim take this hadith as one explanation of the different dialects, but it makes no sense for these two reasons. Also, Uthman wrote it in one dialect, that of the Muhamad's tribe, and sent that off to various cities, and today there are over 30 Arabic Qurans in print, why not 7? Umar b. Khattab said: I heard Hisham b. Hakim b. Hizam reciting Surah al-Furqan in a style different from that in which I used to recite it, and in which Allah's Messenger had taught me to recite it. I was about to dispute with him (on this style) but I delayed till he had finished that (the recitation). Then I caught hold of his cloak and brought him to the Messenger of Allah and said: Messenger of Allah, I heard this man reciting Surah al-Furqan in a style different from the one in which you taught me to recite. Upon this the Messenger of Allah told (me) to leave him alone and asked him to recite. He then recited in the style in which I beard him recite it. The Messenger of Allah then said: Thus was it sent down. He then told me to recite and I recited it, and he said: Thus was it sent down. The Qur'an was sent down in seven dialects. So recite what seems easy therefrom. - Sahih Muslim 818a

The fact you can find apocryphal stories about Jesus in the Quran which were written by known heretic groups way after his death and resurrection disproves islam entirely.
In your words, that would also disprove the bible which was also written by dozens of known and unknown individuals over centuries after Jesus' death. You did not think this through. Peace 🙏
@readstoyou The Gospels were fully compiled 30-70 years after Jesus, based on eyewitness accounts. Those apocryphal stories? 100-300 years later-essentially ancient fanfiction. Comparing them is ridiculous and you know it. They aren't even treated the same way by secular scholars. Be intellectually honest for once 😂
@@roborob347 please learn from your Christian scholars, even they acknowledge the vastness of the sources of the stories in the bible of today which makes it hard to claim it is a word from God. But they have good faith in the bible and so they still believe and preach it, and I admire their honesty for that.
No, it was not entirely consolidated 30-70 years subsequent to Jesus; it transpired centuries later. The period of 30-70 AD marks the inception of the writing process, thus Jesus never witnessed or sanctioned any content in the New Testament. Furthermore, the true authorship of the texts remains unknown, a fact that is not contested by Christians. And who precisely is Paul to compose half of it?? A self-professed deceiver, he asserted that he would mislead individuals to draw them into Christianity. Now, regarding the Old Testament, what substantiation exists for its preservation? In the perspective of any rational, earnest individual, if one cannot substantiate the preservation, it is consequently deemed unpreserved and corrupted. This is without even delving into the historical context of the Bible, where comparative religious scholars can delineate and substantiate where the corruption transpired throughout history. There is unequivocally no doubt that the Quran is devoid of errors; all its assertions have not been proven false, including the preservation of Islam and the corruption of the Bible. Therefore, I hope you return to the authentic Monotheism of Islam. Jesus advocated for the worship of God alone; he submitted to God. We cherish and revere Jesus (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him); he is a virtuous prophet. Embracing Islam does not entail losing Jesus; rather, you love him authentically, genuinely, and in accordance with how he would desire to be loved.

I'm shocked (or maybe not tbh) at how knowledgeable wes is on the issue of the Quran and what may or may not have been in Arabia at the time of Mohammed.
- Wes's points on Methodlogical Analysis are fallacious. He talked about observing the likelihood or probability of things happening, yet hides behind context when it comes to Black and White things in The Bible like most Modern Christians. - He talked about Superficial Parallels in all religions and cultures, when that is absolutely false since there are differences in each of them(Like how in Japanese mythology there is no Great Flood), unless he concedes a point that everything is the same(which wouldn't fit his narrative) - He also was wrong about multiple things said about the Book of Enoch. 1) He said that there was no verse where The Angels taught man about making weapons, cosmetology, and arithmetic, when clearly those things are in there. 2) He said the Angels weren't having sex with human women, when half of the exact reason some of them came down from heaven was that exact reason, seeing how beautiful they were; and also that's how the Nephillim were created, which was a piece of the reason for The Great Flood in the first place. -He says the God decided to “reveal” himself by the masculine plural, but then backtracks and says God created man in his image, completely overlooking that the verse says “Let US make man in OUR own image. He blames human abuse of things for how God chose to represent and reveal , which is the masculine plural, because “Elohim” is Plural in Hebrew, proving a point for Billy; where If God is all-knowing, he would KNOW how people are interpreting him, and correct it in the first place. But even that is besides the point, since God or "Yahweh" was apart of an Ancient Pantheon anyway, long before certain events arose. -He said you can track empirically the agency of women, but the movement of Christiantiy, and that whenever an area became populated by Christians, there is a direct correlation with the priveleges and treatment of women that expand in time, when the surrounding culture largely didn’t view women as being fully human; A Large generalization of history considering, as an example, Viking women could openly divorce their husband if he was seen as an incompetent partner, and also considering at the end of the day, most cultures fully acknowledged and promoted the idea of a Divine Feminine, something that Christianity relentlessly tries to reject and hide(even though it is still within it). As well as The Church views and persecution of women who desired pure unadulterated autonomy of self and belief(young and old women desiring to live as their own sages in the forests and cabins) -He said that Christianity teaches that everybody has worth by simply being human, when there are countless verses saying that we are nothing, or wretched sinners, helpless and horrid; born a sinner and worthy of death and hell -He says what he believes, he believes is true, but only on the evidence of actual documentation, but clearly once again, sidelines the idea of critical evidence involving the matter. He talks about eye witness accounts being a piece of the reason, but really believes that someone else other than the disciples saw Jesus walk ontop of the ocean. -He wants to dispute The verbal eye witness accounts of dozens of ancient tribes that have been around for thousands of years, by saying “Most of that is oral history.”, yet overlooks the amount of oral history that had to have taken place for most of everything in The Bible to even have taken place! -He talks about finding avenues from whether you can find out something is falsifiable, or what is “Accurate”, but will say he is not aware of the cases that The Ancient Tribes have brought up and spoke/written of, admitting they have credibility. -He asks for verification of these things besides the word and pictures of the Tribes , but will operate under the Black and White Premise of Faith. Absolute Paradox and Hypocrisy. People shouldn't act like he is making any points worth noting besides the stoking of his Faith. As I said, I don't agree with many points Billy says, definitely not on Jesus, as well as the Sinai Bible and The Gospek of Mary, but there's some things he was on point with, at least as far as the Tribes, and Wes even admits it in the debate/discourse. It's clear he is pushing some agenda, which makes sense since he is an apologetic.
@@DomskiOKKK One must understand Jesus in historical context, which few Christians today do. If you read academic scholarship on early Christianity, many scholars, based on the sayings in the Gospels, and those of Paul and early Church Fathers, view Jesus as a 1st century Jewish apocalyptic prophet. He expected the imminent end. His followers came to see him as the Messiah, but the majority of Jews did not, especially not the Jewish scholars who kind of are experts in their own sources and other people simply do not care. That's why religions are called "beliefs", there is not factual evidence and we don't need to "believe" in evidence, we simply accept it as fact.

- Sahih Muslim 818a
"Religion is meant to be a source of love and unity, yet too often it is distorted by human conflict, turning sacred teachings into instruments of division." This is one of the reasons we are still in wars … I thought we all learned something over Bill Carson … Everyone wants to be above and right …
Absolutely true, Billy said a lot of truths about religion...and he always said do your own research...that's what he should have debated, contradictions and structure of religion and the division it has caused throughout history
There are ~2000 religions that we know of, all products of their time and place, based on local myths, legends and ideas. They are sources of "unity" for the community that invents them. In many religions people understood that other communities had their own gods, it's only certain religions which claims to be "the truth, the only way" which start to cause problems.
@ When discussing factual history provokes strong reactions, it signals that you're addressing a significant and sensitive topic. These emotions reveal underlying tensions and differing perspectives, highlighting the importance of deeper examination. Thx
Remember that Yahweh was one of several late Bronze early Iron Age gods that the early Israelites followed, along with Baal. Yahweh and Baal were two of the sons of the Sumerian god El, in ancient Ugaritic texts. Eventually Yahweh was adopted as the main and then the only god of the Israelites, adopting and merging the characteristics of the other gods, and the oldest texts in the OT speak of other gods. From this ancient superstition, Christianity and then Islam emerged. One must understand Jesus in historical context, which few Christians today do.
The funniest (?) rejoinder I've heard on this topic is, "You expect me to believe that Allah would tell Muhammad (peas and carrots be upon him) to verify the validity of the Quran against corrupt books?" 1. This assumes Allah is the one true God (he isn't). 1.a. It assumes that whoever or whatever Allah is, he's a rational being. 2. It assumes the Torah and gospel are corrupt (they're not - depending on how "corrupt" is defined). No matter how you look at it, if the Quran is wrong, it's false. If it's right, it's also false! And it sets _itself_ up for _its own_ failure! 😂😂😂
Nah smh wes is doing the unthinkable! What ever belief system have you respect humanity is godly . Wes right now is being ungodly like.. this is division @ it's best
The Quran remained uncorrupted or changed throughout the entire life because it is rhythmic it is recited it is meant to be recited like a song from front to back and you can't change the song on me because I know it word for word by heart and that has been the culture of the Quran since its birth hence the meaning of Quran is recitation to be recited and that is why it is so rhythmic and beautiful and we know that is truly from God
With respect my friends if this is the case then why does it say in chapter 3:3 “He has sent down upon you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth, confirming what was before it. And He revealed the Torah and the Gospel.” So if indeed to Quran is true then it’s false as it clearly speaks that the Torah and gospels are true and we know that both the Quran and the bible have contradicting views on Jesus.
Caliph Uthman Burn Different Versions of the Quran. The Torah was the same before, during and after Jesus. The Gospels are the same before, during and after Mohammed. Historical record debunks the claim of corrupted Bibles. The are heretical texts that were proven forgeries that appeared in mideivel times. Your Quran verifies the bible is true. Repent to your Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. ✝️
Scientific Accuracy: The Quran contains knowledge that was unknown at the time, such as: • Embryology: Descriptions of the human embryo’s stages in Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:12-14) align with modern discoveries. • Cosmology: Reference to the expanding universe (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:47). • Oceanology: Description of darkness in deep seas (Surah An-Nur 24:40), which wasn’t known before deep-sea exploration.
Yes! Now do you know who gives information that is yet to, or should not be known to humans historically? I’ll give you a hint, he’s “Prince of The Skies”, “King of Deception”, you guessed it! Your prophet is a messenger of the Devil 😂
According to the Bible in Genesis 6, The Watchers who are fallen angels (angels in rebellion to God) came down and gave men scientific knowledge in exchange for permission to marry the daughters of men. According to this passage in the Bible, scientific knowledge can be provided to men by evil beings. The Quran being accurate about some things doesn't mean that its accuracy originated from God. Again the Bible says in 2 Corinthians 11: 14 "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light." Since like the gentlemen explained, the revelations in the Quran contradict the Torah and the Gospel, it can be assumed that Muhammad was not actually speaking to Gabriel, but an evil angel masquerading as Gabriel. According to Islamic tradition, upon his first encounter with the angel, Muhammad thought he was dealing with an evil spirit. It was his wife that convinced him that it wasn't evil...kind of like how Eve gave Adam the apple in the garden (Genesis 3).
The fact that you are pushing the Christian faith based on a bible that is a recent reinvention has you on equal footing with Billy Carson. Words, supposition and an interpretation that fits the view you subscribe to- because you possibly researched only what you were initially looking for When I am bored I will tune back in and see how far you're about to fall. This is the perfect opportunity to uplift people and use positivity to guide and support people going through tangible situation. At 2:09...(Quran 5:47 ) when QURAN said that the followers of the INJEEL should've judged by what is in it...you PROTESTANTS did not exist and would not exist for another 900 yearss...SO 🤔 this verse could not have been talking to you PROTESTANTS. Some of the people who did exist were... Ebionites...Nazarenes...Arians...Ethiopians (they have 81 books)...Catholics...etc. Some of their GOSPELS are... Gospel of Marcion...Gospel of Thomas...Gospel of Philip...Gospel of Basilides...Infancy Gospel of Thomas...etc., etc., etc. These people have more of a right to claim that THEIR GOSPELS are the INJEEL than you PROTESTANTS Also...Irenaeus considered the Book "The Shepherd of Hermas" to be canonical scripture, and is found in the CODEX SINAITICUS... The Shepherd of Hermas says about FORGIVENESS of SIN... "For after you have made known to them these words which my Lord has commanded me to reveal to you, then shall they be forgiven all the sins which in former times they committed, and forgiveness will be granted to all the saints who have sinned even to the present day, if they repent with all their heart, and drive all doubts from their minds." NO needing any SACRIFICE… Ezekiel 18:21 & 22 says the SAME THING
I've spoken with a couple Muslims and their remarks about the injeel is that the gospels in the Bible are not the injeel. That Jesus was given the injeel from God and it was lost. What would be the best response to that argument?
If it was Lost how are christians in mohammeds time supposed to judge by it the quran says christians are supposed to follow the injeel or they defy allah
Then they are denying thier history. I know there are tafsirs that identify John, the last gospel to be written, as the Injeel. The Muslim position has no consistency on what is Scripture.
1. Confirmation of Original Revelation: Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:48) says: "And We have sent down to you the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it..." The Quran explicitly claims to be a "criterion" (muhaymin), which means it serves as a judge over previous scriptures. This implies it acknowledges the original truth but also corrects distortions. 2. Recognition of Corruption: In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:75), Allah says: "A party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort it after they had understood it..." Similarly, Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:13) states: "...they altered the words from their places and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded." These verses establish that human tampering affected the earlier scriptures, which makes it unlikely that the Quran is affirming the modern texts as they are. 3. Focus on Guidance and Essence, Not Textual Integrity: Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:44) states: "Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light..." The Quran acknowledges the Torah's original role as a source of guidance. However, it consistently critiques the misuse and alteration of divine words by those who failed to preserve its integrity (e.g., Surah Al-Baqarah 2:79: "Woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands and then say, 'This is from Allah.'”). Rebuttal to the Opposing Argument (Claiming the Quran Confirms the Modern Books): The claim that the Quran confirms the books "as they are today" overlooks the Quran's repeated criticisms of distortions. For example, if the Quran unconditionally confirmed these texts, it would contradict verses like Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:13), which highlight corruption. Even when the Quran refers to Jews and Christians judging by their scriptures (e.g., Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:43), it emphasizes their failure to act on divine guidance, not the perfection of their current texts.
One of the biggest red flags in Islam that people hardly talk about is the compulsory nature of the daily prayers and dry fasting in Ramadan. Prayers should be optional (so that people are more sincere doing them) and modern medical science actually does NOT recommend dry fasting for most people. Yet, these are two central tenets of Islam.
Prayers are not just a form of communication to God, it is a form of mindfulness, discipline, exercise, and purification. Prayers in Islam can also be flexible to allow injured, disabled and sick people to pray without hurting themselves. People do it when they do meditation every day and most sciences agree with the benefits of meditation. As for dry fasting, nobody is supposed to do it every day, it is only done 1 month in a year and for some at least 2x a week for the rest of their lives. Plus, people who have disabilities, sickness, immunity issues are excempt from fasting. So what exactly are the red flags in these practices?
@ There is absolutely no good reason whatsoever that these rituals should be compulsory for Muslims. You do not need to do any of them to be or become a good person. They should be entirely optional. Only that makes sense, if they make sense at all.
Really? Prayer doesn’t seem like something God is interested in making rare. The seraphim never stop worshipping, it is their job. Pray more, I’ll bet God will never get tired of it and you’ll get better at it
@@grahamashe9715 it just seems like such a soft modern take. It’s compulsory, OMG! Look, God is the type to give you a bunch of goats, to bless and curse your children and your children’s children, or reign down fire on idolaters. I wouldn’t advise ever considering any level of worship to be outside of what God desires. He created the seraphim man. Why do you think your job isn’t constant praise if the highest beings he ever created do exactly that. Is eating 3 times a day a red flag?
Quran tells you to follow the injeel which was given to Jesus. Not the one many years after by Paul who never meet or saw Jesus and mix it with Roman pagan. Some time the story of Jesus sound like hurcules.
It actually repeatedly says the injeel BETWEEN YOUR HANDS, so, since Allah is speaking to Muhammad in the 7th century, what would that mean? Read the tafsirs. Also, what you say disagrees with ALL of the best Muslim scholars in the tafsirs, which Muslims tell people to read if they want to understand the Quran.
Why trying to lie? If you want to quote something why not tell it entirely?May Allah guide you Throw the explications: Sourah 10 V94 the prophet mohamed never once doubted the revelations he received, to protect him from temptation because he preached and guided the polytheists of Lamecca who attacked him and treated him as a liar therefore to strengthen his certainty Allah for him said this and told him and all the believers not to doubt, there is a lot of passage in coran telling us to never doubt about his word, if we or he does not doubt why they will go and ask the people of the book (Jew and Christian) and even if they doubt that they will ask the people of the book then certainly they will see that the truth came from the creator. But Allah is forgiving and merciful.
Considering the New Testament is built on the foundation of the Old Testament, Jesus was Jewish, and every Christian Bible contains the Old Testament, I'd say Christianity is based on Judaism rather than manipulated by it.

So disappointed. I thought Wes would have a better good faith arguments. With his knowledge of history and language. He ignores the Hanifa religion in pre Islamic Arabia.
@ The guy who visits Mecca to kiss that smelly pagan black stone calling someone a pagan. Funny! Oh! I get you now. You meant Muhammed and his scribes copied some of what the Hanifs knew about Judaism and Christianity? I mean, it was a Hanif who convinced Muhammed to stop being a pagan so it’s likely he learnt a lot from them, although eventually he still included pagan practices to his new religion Islam. The truth is, Muhammed and his scribes were ignorant about what was canon and what wasn’t. This is why the Quran mixes stories of the Bible, Apocryphal, Jewish Midrash, Greek legends, etc.
@@gavinminty4974 Pagan?? Christianity is full of pagan rituals just like any other pagan mythology. Human blood sacrifice is the EPITOME of pagan rituals. Just 2 minutes and 46 seconds in - this guy says “the Quran is not in conjunction with anything… ANYTHING with the Gospel” (he said “anything” twice 😂) But for 1400 years the Quran says this in Surah 3, ayat 45: “When the angels said: O Mary, surely Allah gives thee good news with a word from Him (of one) whose name is THE MESSIAH”, Jesus, son of Mary, worthy of regard in this world and the Hereafter, and of those who are drawn nigh (to Allah),” Jesus says in John 4:26 - “I AM THE MESSIAH” …Actually “Wes” and this video and podcast is COOKED. Easy to look like a scriptural “genius” to Christian’s who barely know their own book.
The Quran never mentioned Mark Matthew Luke or John. So this point really makes no sense. Unless you believe Jesus was walking around preaching is own biography to the people, sorry but you have to be the brain dead to believe that.

Avery, I’m not sure about the Hadith you speak of. Hopefully you can reply to this comment and point me in that direction. However, I do know of a Hadith about Jews telling The Prophet Mohammed something that is written in the Torah and translating it into Arabic. But let’s, again, give the people context so they are properly educated and can form their opinion from there. There were battles where Arab tribes were trying to attack The Muslims for spoils. Some Jews that lived in Medina with the ruling Muslims, tried to work with these Arabs to help them defeat The Muslims. After The Muslims successfully defended their land , they turned their attention to the treacherous Jews who worked against them from the inside. Mohammad allowed them to punish themselves from the laws of their own book, The Torah. So they were telling The Prophet Mohammad what The Torah says to do with a traitor in Arabic. The first Torah written in Arabic wasn’t around for a while. Now Avery, let’s discuss Waraqah ibn Nawfal ibn Asad ibn Abd-al-Uzza ibn Qusayy Al-Qurashi. He is the “some kind of Christian” friend of The Prophet you assume taught him a form of Gnosticism. Let me, again, help you give your audience context so they don’t go out and speak out of their rear ends thinking they know something just because you said you know something. Waraqah was the cousin to The Prophet’s wife Kadijah. He was what was considered a hanif, which is what The Prophet Mohammed would be classified as before he received his revelations from Jibril. A hanif by definition is a follower of what Abraham was practicing which was monotheistic and gave their lives law and order so they wouldn’t be savages. Jews and Christians might say this is Judaism. And I believe the biography of The Prophet might even call him Waraqah, Christian. It doesn’t matter because what you left out is he was an old man and shortly after The Prophet Mohammed was revealed the message from God, he died. But before he died, he asked The Prophet what was said to him. He told him what was revealed and Waraquh believed him and wished he was young so he could follow him and receive Gods message. So even IF your assumption is correct, Waraqah was convinced of two things: there is only one God and the Prophet Mohammed was His messenger. That is what every Muslim proclaims entering the faith. We don’t have any evidence of The Prophet Mohammed learning Christian stories. We have proximity to Christians. Like your friend Wes said, correlation doesn’t equal causation. We can assume Jesus was taught in India according to the gap in time missing from his life that we know of. But all of the evidence we have for that is speculation which would be unfair to apply when trying to be respectful to one’s faith. Although the parable of the Prodigal Son that is found in The Bible is very close to a Buddhist story called The Parable of the Vegabond Son and that story was told at least 500 years before Jesus told it since he died 500 years before Jesus was born. In fact, the story is more elaborate in the Lotus Sutra but the beats are the same (kid leaves home, kid gets roughed up, kid comes home, father welcomes him back with grace). But I wouldn’t be so disrespectful and just speak so matter of fact about the chances a Buddhist told this story to a young traveling Jesus just because his family could have been traveling on trade routes and he learned the story in passing. I respect the prophets enough to leave their lives alone and not speculate just to damage someone’s level of faith. That’s just dirty work.
Wes thinks that he’s so smart and logical. Don’t talk about the Quran without knowing deeply what you guys are both talking about. Be respectful to Islam . Leave it alone WES. LEAVE IT ALONE SIR!
Well he is very logical. He completely dismantled the quran and shows its not from God. He also destroys the idea that the gospel/injeel was corrupted because the quran tells christians to judge by the gospel
I don’t care how well he knows the Bible, his behavior is no different from Billy. Very self absorbed. I’ll be glad when this mess is no longer on my time line. Tired of these religious and new age people.
*Yet another anamoly in the Qur'an* The spider verse Qur'an 29:41 The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew. *The fact* Spiders don't spin webs as homes. The main reason spiders spin webs is to catch their dinner. When an insect, such as a fly, flies into a spider's web, it gets stuck on the sticky threads. When a spider catches prey in the sticky strands of its web, it approaches the trapped insect and uses its fangs to inject venom. Hence Qur'an is factually incorrect in claiming that the spider webs are the weakest homes, they are not homes in the first place. Ratio for ratio the web strands are stronger than steel !!
😂😂😂😂😂 at least read the Wikipedia page on the subject you doofus. Some spiders use their webs for hearing, where the giant webs function as extended and reconfigurable auditory sensors.[18] Not all use their webs for capturing prey directly, instead pouncing from concealment (e.g. trapdoor spiders) or running them down in open chase (e.g. wolf spiders). The net-casting spider balances the two methods of running and web spinning in its feeding habits. This spider weaves a small net which it attaches to its front legs. It then lurks in wait for potential prey and, when such prey arrives, lunges forward to wrap its victim in the net, bite and paralyze it. Hence, this spider expends less energy catching prey than a primitive hunter such as the wolf spider. It also avoids the energy loss of weaving a large orb web. Many species also spin threads of silk to catch the wind and then sail on the wind to a new location. Others manage to use the signaling-snare technique of a web without spinning a web at all. Several types of water-dwelling spiders rest their feet on the water's surface in much the same manner as an orb-web user. When an insect falls onto the water and is ensnared by surface tension, the spider can detect the vibrations and run out to capture the prey. The diving bell spider and Desis marina, an intertidal species, use their web to trap air under water, where they can stay submerged long periods of time.[19][20]

“Do you ˹believers still˺ expect them to be true to you, though a group of them would hear the word of Allah then knowingly corrupt it after understanding it?”

which is Surah 9 which some scholars call the revealer of scandals it details the actions of several of the
companions of the prophet (saw), during the last year or 2 of his life, doing some things that were at
best questionable, those companions ended up being in charge of Islam after the assassination of Ali Ibn
Abi Taleb, as we explained the Umayyads, now those Umayyads ended up controlling for three full

the Quran was understood by people, and by the masses, and therefore in our literature, Islamic
literature, ever since those days our Islamic literature has been riddled with corrupted interpretations
with the wrong misleading information, and with what's called the reports and the narrations that

Here are just a few of the most trusted early sources which immediately cast doubt on perfect preservation, without even looking at the Quran:
Ibn Kahtir, commenting on Q33:6 explains that Ibn Masud, Ibn Abbas, ibn Kab and Muawiyah (Muhammad's closest companions and whom Muhammad said to learn the Quran from) "hardly ever recited the above verse [Q33:6] without saying 'seeing that he is as a father to them'".
And I am of the opinion that you should collect the Qur'an." - Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 6, Book 60, Number 201
It is reported from Ismail ibn Ibrahim from Ayyub from Naafi from Ibn Umar who said: "Let none of you say 'I have acquired the whole of the Qur'an'.
He replied, 'The fornicators among the married men (ash-shaikh) and married women (ash-shaikhah), stone them as an exemplary punishment from Allah, and Allah is Mighty and Wise."' (As-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fii Ulum al-Qur'an, p.524)
It was narrated that 'Aishah said: “The Verse of stoning and of breastfeeding an adult ten times was revealed, and the paper was with me under my pillow. When the Messenger of Allah died, we were preoccupied with his death, and a tame sheep came in and ate it.” These verses were abrogated in recitation but not ruling. Other ahadith establish the number for fosterage to be 5. - Hasan Ibn Majah 1944
A'isha (Allah be pleased with, her) reported that it had been revealed in the Holy Qur'an that ten clear sucklings make the marriage unlawful, then it was abrogated (and substituted) by five sucklings and Allah's Apostle died and it was before that time (found) in the Holy Qur'an (and recited by the Muslims). - Sahih Muslim 1452a
Abu Ubaid in his Kitab Fada'il-al-Qur'an says: Ibn Abi Maryam related to us from Ibn Luhai'a from Abu'l-Aswad from Urwa b. az-Zubair from A'isha who said, "Surat al-Ahzab (xxxiii) used to be recited in the time of the Prophet with two hundred verses, but when Uthman wrote out the codices he was unable to procure more of it than there is in it today."
From Masud, whom Muhammad said to learn the Quran, we learn about Uthman's Quran: Mas'ud disliked Zaid bin Thabit copying the Musahif, and he said: 'O you Muslim people! - Sahih Jami at-Tirmidhi 3104
And, read Sahih Muslim 818a below and notice that BOTH Umar and Hisham were of the same tribe and would use the same dialect, furthermore, since they were around Muhammad during his life, shouldn't they know that the Quran was revealed in different ways?

Reading the Gospel yourself is such a transcending experience! When you cross over History and Our Lord you get the Greatest Story Ever Told.
@@roborob347 YOTUBE I asked AI to REWORD MY COMMENT 50 TIMES AND STILL IT NOT SENDING 😡

Of course it's man made. It explains why such verses were revealed. Even your gospels were man made. Huhu...
Wes is a breathe of fresh air in christian apologetic. Respecful but full of facts. He is not looking for a win or a gotchaa moment in a debate.
Wes is a newly added asset to the family of the known Christian apologetics
Muhammad: Go look it up!
What to look for bro? Give some hint.
@ lol “google it.”
- Wes's points on Methodlogical Analysis are fallacious. He talked about observing the likelihood or probability of things happening, yet hides behind context when it comes to Black and White things in The Bible like most Modern Christians.
- He talked about Superficial Parallels in all religions and cultures, when that is absolutely false since there are differences in each of them(Like how in Japanese mythology there is no Great Flood), unless he concedes a point that everything is the same(which wouldn't fit his narrative)
- He also was wrong about multiple things said about the Book of Enoch.
As well as The Church views and persecution of women who desired pure unadulterated autonomy of self and belief(young and old women desiring to live as their own sages in the forests and cabins)
-He said that Christianity teaches that everybody has worth by simply being human, when there are countless verses saying that we are nothing, or wretched sinners, helpless and horrid; born a sinner and worthy of death and hell
-He says what he believes, he believes is true, but only on the evidence of actual documentation, but clearly once again, sidelines the idea of critical evidence involving the matter.
Man aliens exist... Religion is pointless after that. That's all that needs to be said. All these conversations will look stupid.

People worshipping a man and a gost and statues wants to debunk Islam. Are you serious guys. You don't know who wrote the bible and above that it is not preserved in it's original language and it contains contradictions, errors etc and you wanna debunk us are you drunk or what.
I'm not a Christian, so don't waste your time attacking another text.

"Religion is meant to be a source of love and unity, yet too often it is distorted by human conflict, turning sacred teachings into instruments of division."
This is one of the reasons we are still in wars … I thought we all learned something over Bill Carson …
Everyone wants to be above and right …
Please exclude Christianity from the list since its not a religion...Christ Himself was against religion.
We just want TRUTH! Jesus proclaimed: "I am the TRUTH, the WAY, and the LIFE"
Absolutely true, Billy said a lot of truths about religion...and he always said do your own research...that's what he should have debated, contradictions and structure of religion and the division it has caused throughout history
Thx
My conversations usually don't get that far. I know that we were warned 500 years in advance by Jesus not to listen!!

The funniest (?) rejoinder I've heard on this topic is, "You expect me to believe that Allah would tell Muhammad (peas and carrots be upon him) to verify the validity of the Quran against corrupt books?"

The veil is slowly being lifted, this and Billy’s recent exposure are testament to that
The Quran remained uncorrupted or changed throughout the entire life because it is rhythmic it is recited it is meant to be recited like a song from front to back and you can't change the song on me because I know it word for word by heart and that has been the culture of the Quran since its birth hence the meaning of Quran is recitation to be recited and that is why it is so rhythmic and beautiful and we know that is truly from God
Amiin brother may Allah bless you
The Bible has been rewritten so many times smh it's no Smooth sailing with reading that book it's too many waves
So when Allah hates on the infidels it's like a beautiful song to you is it , you deluded fools

Scientific Accuracy:
The Quran contains knowledge that was unknown at the time, such as:
• Embryology: Descriptions of the human embryo’s stages in Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:12-14) align with modern discoveries.
• Cosmology: Reference to the expanding universe (Surah Adh-Dhariyat 51:47).
• Oceanology: Description of darkness in deep seas (Surah An-Nur 24:40), which wasn’t known before deep-sea exploration.
@@lamincham2050 so?
Don't sound like prophecies to me.

These people have more of a right to claim that THEIR GOSPELS are the INJEEL than you PROTESTANTS
Also...Irenaeus considered the Book "The Shepherd of Hermas" to be canonical scripture, and is found in the CODEX SINAITICUS...
The Shepherd of Hermas says about FORGIVENESS of SIN... "For after you have made known to them these words which my Lord has commanded me to reveal to you, then shall they be forgiven all the sins which in former times they committed, and forgiveness will be granted to all the saints who have sinned even to the present day, if they repent with all their heart, and drive all doubts from their minds."
NO needing any SACRIFICE…
Ezekiel 18:21 & 22 says the SAME THING
Protestants use the same Gospels as Catholics and Orthodox...
How would they even know that what would be their sources? Sounds like a cop out.
1. Confirmation of Original Revelation:
Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:48) says: "And We have sent down to you the Book in truth, confirming that which preceded it of the Scripture and as a criterion over it..."
The Quran explicitly claims to be a "criterion" (muhaymin), which means it serves as a judge over previous scriptures. This implies it acknowledges the original truth but also corrects distortions.
2. Recognition of Corruption:
In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:75), Allah says: "A party of them used to hear the words of Allah and then distort it after they had understood it..."
Similarly, Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:13) states: "...they altered the words from their places and have forgotten a portion of that of which they were reminded."
These verses establish that human tampering affected the earlier scriptures, which makes it unlikely that the Quran is affirming the modern texts as they are.
3. Focus on Guidance and Essence, Not Textual Integrity:
Surah Al-Ma'idah (5:44) states: "Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light..."
The Quran acknowledges the Torah's original role as a source of guidance. However, it consistently critiques the misuse and alteration of divine words by those who failed to preserve its integrity (e.g., Surah Al-Baqarah 2:79: "Woe to those who write the Scripture with their own hands and then say, 'This is from Allah.'”).
Rebuttal to the Opposing Argument (Claiming the Quran Confirms the Modern Books):
The claim that the Quran confirms the books "as they are today" overlooks the Quran's repeated criticisms of distortions.
Thank you for this !

If you want to quote something why not tell it entirely?May Allah guide you Throw the explications:
Sourah 10 V94
the prophet mohamed never once doubted the revelations he received, to protect him from temptation because he preached and guided the polytheists of Lamecca who attacked him and treated him as a liar therefore to strengthen his certainty Allah for him said this and told him and all the believers not to doubt, there is a lot of passage in coran telling us to never doubt about his word, if we or he does not doubt why they will go and ask the people of the book (Jew and Christian) and even if they doubt that they will ask the people of the book then certainly they will see that the truth came from the creator. But Allah is forgiving and merciful.

“When the angels said: O Mary, surely Allah gives thee good news with a word from Him (of one) whose name is THE MESSIAH”, Jesus, son of Mary, worthy of regard in this world and the Hereafter, and of those who are drawn nigh (to Allah),”
Jesus says in John 4:26 - “I AM THE MESSIAH”
…Actually “Wes” and this video and podcast is COOKED.

You're halfway there! Now make a video on the Bible being false.
Alex gave over a dozen contradictions and Cliffe addressed none of them.

Wow, now this I believe, well said.
Brilliant video, improvement for further vids to add subtitles to the important verses that was said to rebuke the Quran

*Yet another anamoly in the Qur'an*
The spider verse
Qur'an 29:41
The example of those who take allies other than Allah is like that of the spider who takes a home. And indeed, the weakest of homes is the home of the spider, if they only knew.
*The fact*
Spiders don't spin webs as homes.
Some spiders use their webs for hearing, where the giant webs function as extended and reconfigurable auditory sensors.[18]
Not all use their webs for capturing prey directly, instead pouncing from concealment (e.g. trapdoor spiders) or running them down in open chase (e.g. wolf spiders).

The verse doesn't mention webs. There is no mention of webs at all. It says homes. You just assumed it was referring to webs as home.
