First of all, hi Speed, didn't expect to see you here. I assume you're talking about Nightmare, since Freddy himself never comes to the doors lol. Nightmare is somewhat buggy but I've gotten reasonably consistent with him, if you're going as fast as you say you are then you're probably not getting there too late, you might actually be going too quickly and not waiting until his footsteps stop completely. Make sure they've stopped completely for 1-2 seconds before running to the door to be sure he's not doubling back when you can't hear him very well over your own running. By waiting a short period and making sure the footsteps stop completely and he's already arrived there, that should prevent him from doubling back or glitching through the door, which can happen sometimes if you get there before him. One last thing, don't stay at the doors for long periods of time, if you stay in one place for 20 seconds, he'll kill you. Good luck!

I beat 5 and 6 first try, beat 7 second try in less than 6 hours of booting the game for the first time (on Nintendo Switch). Tried 4/20 a few times before seeing this, didn't know that they would run back to the door, TWICE. Ambience gets a free subscwibe. (Also beat the previous 3 games without any guides at all in less than 12 hours game time, 2 days irl. I love that I came back to FNAF.)

I used to constantly move while Nightmare is moving, because I thought that he can kill you if you stay still for a while. After watching this guide, I know realized that he only kills you if you hold a door shut for too long.
@@andrzejpakistan3200 Fact: On the "All Nightmare" challenge, Nightmare acts EXACTLY how he does in Night 8, except for 6 hellish minutes/6 in-game hours. You MUST use the same strategy from Night 8 on "All Nightmare". He can only do 2 REAL laughs, and the rest of the ones are fake, no matter WHAT. And God forbid if you're doing AN on "Blind Mode", then you can't use your flashlight (Ambience made a guide for that one and normal AN already, so just watch those two as well.).

This night is just annoying. I’ve only got to 2AM and it’s mainly because of Bonnie and chica leaving and coming back. Because then I have to spend more time at the doors and Freddy and foxy have more time to get me. I haven’t even gotten close to 4AM yet. It’s funny how I can beat night 7 on my first try but I struggle way more on night 8.
ive gotten to 5am about 10 times now, and i need help. When nightmare starts at 4 am, i wait until he stops running then IMMIDIATLY run to the door. I dont use the flashlight unless i heard laughter. And yet he still glitches through the door and kills me. This is very frustrating so if anyone could help that would be most appreciated
So, I've used all your tips, not sure how many apply though because im playing the mobile port. The closest ive gotten was 5 am because Nightmare keeps getting me even if i close the door. If nightmares at a door, and your at another door running to the center of the room, will you die if you close it instantly? And can you use only the door closing and no light technique?
I have a question, its not about the strategy, but what is your process of familiarizing yourself with the mechanics of each fnaf game, and just finding something that works? Is there a lot of trial and error involved, or alalysis? Or both? The fact that you know all the ins and outs of each game is impressive as hell, keep up the awesome work!
It's a mix of practice and collaboration, essentially. I play the games a lot, analyze the mechanics, and form what I think is the best strategy. Then I compare it to what others have to say. This used to be what popular UA-camrs did in their videos, now it's other pros that I know personally.

It's really down to how quick you move and a bit of RNG. I've had multiple runs where Nightmare went to the closet and I was still able to salvage it. It's a bit unlikely though.
I honestly love watching guides for fnaf games. I like seeing other peoples strategies for this, seeing how they’re able to beat it. For some reason, night 5 6 and 7 nightmare/fredbear were. Sometimes I’d accidently run away from a door and still able to save it.
I almost beat this night. i had a timer on my phone. 1 second left till the night was over and got jumpscared by nightmare till this day i can't get past nightmare.
I close the door on the side that nightmare is on but he doesnt leave and just kills me a few seconds later when i have the door shut. Im moving as fast as i can too. Can you help?
Nightmare is never at either door for me lol, the only time I've gotten to 5am was when I first played it with no knowledge, can only get to 4am because nightmare gives almost no time and wants to bully me, unlike night 7 I wasn't stuck on it for too long but night 8 increased the difficulty by what felt like x3 because of how often they move (remembering the time I died to nightmare bonnie on night 2 within the first 20 seconds) but I'll try this strategy later and probably need to rewatch a few times to get all the info I can into my head lol, subbing rn btw
There is nothing more frustrating than finally making it to 4am after a few attempts and dying to nightmare when you react as fast as possible, I think I shine the light too much out of fear that I’m wrong about the door he’s at
I died within 5 seconds of the night ending for no reason. Literally he ran to the left from the right and it took me all of 4-5 seconds to get to the other side of the room and closed the door instantly. Game over.

Honestly from 12am-4am i find it easier to prioritise foxy and using door bed door method as i never have any time to get to the closet but for nightmare he keeps getting me even though i only click flashlight and have insta door method too

I was never able to beat nights 7 and 8 on mobile, and I was kind of afraid I wouldn't still be able to beat them after I got a decent computer, but you explained everything so neatly, and were soo detailed ab how to keep Foxy out, that i made it through night 7 on two tries, and night 8 on five tries or so, all in the same day. Hey Ambience! Im working on a video titled "I Beat Every FNaF Max Mode" and was wondering what i should include for fnaf 4? i already have the game 100% with everything recorded but idk whats the hardest since i kinda got pretty lucky and lots of the challenges (i was thinking the blind insta foxy mad freddy night but with my 20/20/20/20 mode win in the corner so its not just empty gameplay lmao)
Tricky one, since FNaF 4 technically has 2 max modes. BM/MF/IF is definitely harder and gives true 100%, but Night 8 has the highest AI settings and is considered the final night. If you're going by strictly hardest then I guess BM/MF/IF, but it might be best to show both, yep.
4/20 actually makes the main gameplay easier because Foxy, Chica, and Bonnie's AI is at max and are always guaranteed to move. This is something Brayden figured out, but Bonnie and Chica's movement intervals are at 5s, but they can only move backward on 10s intervals. This means if Bonnie or Chica are at the door and you run to it on a 10s interval, they are guaranteed to move into the hallway and you can flash them consistently. From what Ive noticed while testing, their intervals can offset if you shut the door on one of them, since shutting the doors while they're in the hallway makes them instantly teleport to the door. As long as you run to doors on 10s, you're golden.
I'm ready for doing this night ( I have completed the others ) but I have some questions : 1- if I well understand, I must to wait 3 seconds until I'll flashlight, If I don't hear breathings, right ? 2- If foxy or nightmare go into the closet, I do not to have to flash them ? I can immediately close the closet? and 3- Are you sure about the fact of the freddles are less faster than foxy? because in your gamplay, it's seem to be very difficult to check them after foxy, the timing is very close... So I beat this right after I watched your guide. Not really planning on doing challenges but happy to get all 4 OG stars, thanks so much for helping. My mistake, was the fact I would wait until all 4 steps of Bonnie and Chica had walked before checking again. Knowing I could check as soon as I heard footsteps from this video and the movement guide was really really really helpful, helped me stay on my toes and even keep foxy out of the room all night. Anyways sorry to ramble, but really these are great guides, please keep doing them.
Another max mode finished? Well at least if I will finish fnaf 3 aggressive nightmare mode or fnaf sister location 10/20 mode then I will have some strategies for fnaf 4.

Thanks this helped me beat Night 7 I never even beat Night 1 in 7 years now I beat 7 Nights in 5 days I haven't attempted Night 8 yet because of how annoying 12AM to 4AM on Night 7 was Foxy IS A PAIN 4AM to 6AM only took 4 attempts I just had to get use to Nightmare's speed I will do Night 8 after I beat Sister Location and maybe Pizza Sim after that I can go back and focus on all the MAX 20 MODES 1 by 1 with 4/20 on FNaF 1 already done

I don’t know if this was a glitch but foxy got in my room in my closet, but after a few moments he wasn’t in my room no more. The reason I know this is because when I went to Check on Bonnie and all of a sudden I hear foxy foot steps running to chica hallway. I quickly ran to the closet to see if foxy is still in the closet but he wasn’t. So I don’t know I was lucky or it was a glitch because I did saw foxy in my closet but and left so I don’t know wtf happen.
That's the only real BS thing about it, and even then it's easily counterable all the way up to Blind Mode Mad Freddy Insta Foxy. Still less ridiculous than FNaF 2 and 3.

ive always preferred to just let foxy get inside, may sound weird but im more comfortable doing the cycle with foxy rather then accidently letting him in then having to change what im doing which sometimes leads me to accidentally letting bonnie or chica in the room. so if you have that issue as well you can try to just let foxy in, again sounds counter intuitive but it has worked for me
Nightmare ran over to my right door, and I heard a laugh, so I turned my flashlight into the right hallway for a split second, saw that he was there and closed the door emediently. My screen began to flicker, and nightmare was able to kill me through my door
Ok so on this night, nightmare gives you 8 seconds when he stops moving before killing you. When I hear his footsteps stop, I instantly run to the door and close it, this takes about 3-3.5 seconds. And yet, he still decides to go through the damn door and kill me. And btw, something that happened alot for some reason, I close the door, I hear his footsteps meaning he left, and I still die right after.
I keep playing perfectly but nightmare keeps killing me for no reason even though i always get to him on time. It keeps glitching. I've tried the night dozens of times at this point and I'm honestly fed up.
I’ve gotten really close so many times, but every time I fail it feels like I was right on Nightmare to shut him out. Is the window to slam the door on him really that tight or is the game possibly glitched? I haven’t been using the flashlight at all either unless I need to check for a fake laugh.
Update: Just beat it the next day after about five attempts. Turns out I just needed to get my well rested buff in order to be on point with my Nightmare shutdowns. Now onto the six bonus stars
Alright so I’ve gotten to point where I can consistently get to 4am. But that’s where the problems arise. I’m doing exactly what you say: waiting two seconds after Nightmare’s footsteps finish, then checking that side, I’ve tried flashing him then closing the door, not flashing him and then closing it, nothing works. I’ll close the door on him, and then my screen will fade to black and he’ll kill me. Sometimes I even hear him start to run away from the door as my screen begins to fade. Please help lol.

With this strat I beat this mode in like 5 tries i got really lucky foxy didn't come to my closet the whole night and the nightmare section was very easy Time to do the challenges.
I got to 5am (not expecting too) and nightmare went to the right (I know that as I replayed the footage and only one pair of footsteps) go to the right door to instantly close it but I die anyway as that was the speed I was going the entire 4-6 am segment
he laughs, i check the door and its real. i check the bed, not there, so he's in the closet. i run up to the closet and close it but he kills me. its on night 7. Edit: Turns out, the problem was i never loaded the closet. so i have to load the closet at the start of the night.

night 7 is the same as night 8 for me, for nightmare just dont even flash the light at all, even when in your closet, because he's so aggressive

Well, technically, if you AFK anywhere for 20 seconds then you die. That's still plenty of time for him to stop moving though.

So, I've used all your tips, not sure how many apply though because im playing the mobile port. The closest ive gotten was 5 am because Nightmare keeps getting me even if i close the door. If nightmares at a door, and your at another door running to the center of the room, will you die if you close it instantly? And can you use only the door closing and no light technique?

I have a question, its not about the strategy, but what is your process of familiarizing yourself with the mechanics of each fnaf game, and just finding something that works? Is there a lot of trial and error involved, or alalysis? Or both? The fact that you know all the ins and outs of each game is impressive as hell, keep up the awesome work!
It's a mix of practice and collaboration, essentially. I play the games a lot, analyze the mechanics, and form what I think is the best strategy. Then I compare it to what others have to say. This used to be what popular UA-camrs did in their videos, now it's other pros that I know personally.
very entertaining, fun and informative content, first i was scared to even open the game then i beat all 8 nights (i beat the 8th night first try :D) and now im ready to tackle the challenges! very glad i found out about this channel
FNAF 4 is the game I tend to struggle on the most and you’ve helped me beat various nights, especially nights 6 and 7 and I got to 5 AM on night 8 on my first try, and I will most certainly beat it eventually thanks to your advice! I enjoy your helpful content!

It's really down to how quick you move and a bit of RNG. I've had multiple runs where Nightmare went to the closet and I was still able to salvage it. It's a bit unlikely though.
I honestly love watching guides for fnaf games. I like seeing other peoples strategies for this, seeing how they’re able to beat it. For some reason, night 5 6 and 7 nightmare/fredbear were. Sometimes I’d accidently run away from a door and still able to save it.
I almost beat this night. i had a timer on my phone. 1 second left till the night was over and got jumpscared by nightmare till this day i can't get past nightmare.
On this night im very lucky with foxy,as even if he gets in my closet he glitches and leaves my closet and goes back to being in the halls.

Nightmare is never at either door for me lol, the only time I've gotten to 5am was when I first played it with no knowledge, can only get to 4am because nightmare gives almost no time and wants to bully me, unlike night 7 I wasn't stuck on it for too long but night 8 increased the difficulty by what felt like x3 because of how often they move (remembering the time I died to nightmare bonnie on night 2 within the first 20 seconds) but I'll try this strategy later and probably need to rewatch a few times to get all the info I can into my head lol, subbing rn btw
There is nothing more frustrating than finally making it to 4am after a few attempts and dying to nightmare when you react as fast as possible, I think I shine the light too much out of fear that I’m wrong about the door he’s at

I was easily able to beat this night using your great tips. And keeping foxy out of the room the whole 12-4 am segment was pretty easy
I died within 5 seconds of the night ending for no reason. Literally he ran to the left from the right and it took me all of 4-5 seconds to get to the other side of the room and closed the door instantly. Game over.

Honestly from 12am-4am i find it easier to prioritise foxy and using door bed door method as i never have any time to get to the closet but for nightmare he keeps getting me even though i only click flashlight and have insta door method too

I was never able to beat nights 7 and 8 on mobile, and I was kind of afraid I wouldn't still be able to beat them after I got a decent computer, but you explained everything so neatly, and were soo detailed ab how to keep Foxy out, that i made it through night 7 on two tries, and night 8 on five tries or so, all in the same day. Hey Ambience! Im working on a video titled "I Beat Every FNaF Max Mode" and was wondering what i should include for fnaf 4? i already have the game 100% with everything recorded but idk whats the hardest since i kinda got pretty lucky and lots of the challenges (i was thinking the blind insta foxy mad freddy night but with my 20/20/20/20 mode win in the corner so its not just empty gameplay lmao)
Tricky one, since FNaF 4 technically has 2 max modes. BM/MF/IF is definitely harder and gives true 100%, but Night 8 has the highest AI settings and is considered the final night. If you're going by strictly hardest then I guess BM/MF/IF, but it might be best to show both, yep.

LOL, I can relate. 2015 was a fun time.
4/20 actually makes the main gameplay easier because Foxy, Chica, and Bonnie's AI is at max and are always guaranteed to move. This is something Brayden figured out, but Bonnie and Chica's movement intervals are at 5s, but they can only move backward on 10s intervals. This means if Bonnie or Chica are at the door and you run to it on a 10s interval, they are guaranteed to move into the hallway and you can flash them consistently.
From what Ive noticed while testing, their intervals can offset if you shut the door on one of them, since shutting the doors while they're in the hallway makes them instantly teleport to the door. As long as you run to doors on 10s, you're golden.
I'm ready for doing this night ( I have completed the others ) but I have some questions :
1- if I well understand, I must to wait 3 seconds until I'll flashlight, If I don't hear breathings, right ?
2- If foxy or nightmare go into the closet, I do not to have to flash them ? I can immediately close the closet?
and 3- Are you sure about the fact of the freddles are less faster than foxy? because in your gamplay, it's seem to be very difficult to check them after foxy, the timing is very close...

So I beat this right after I watched your guide. Not really planning on doing challenges but happy to get all 4 OG stars, thanks so much for helping. My mistake, was the fact I would wait until all 4 steps of Bonnie and Chica had walked before checking again. Knowing I could check as soon as I heard footsteps from this video and the movement guide was really really really helpful, helped me stay on my toes and even keep foxy out of the room all night. Anyways sorry to ramble, but really these are great guides, please keep doing them.
I figured a bug on fnaf 4. You can play fun with balloon boy without unlocking it. I did this on ps4

Thanks this helped me beat Night 7 I never even beat Night 1 in 7 years now I beat 7 Nights in 5 days I haven't attempted Night 8 yet because of how annoying 12AM to 4AM on Night 7 was Foxy IS A PAIN 4AM to 6AM only took 4 attempts I just had to get use to Nightmare's speed I will do Night 8 after I beat Sister Location and maybe Pizza Sim after that I can go back and focus on all the MAX 20 MODES 1 by 1 with 4/20 on FNaF 1 already done

It helps at the start of each night to set a 6 minute timer on your phone to know how much time u have

I don’t know if this was a glitch but foxy got in my room in my closet, but after a few moments he wasn’t in my room no more. The reason I know this is because when I went to Check on Bonnie and all of a sudden I hear foxy foot steps running to chica hallway. I quickly ran to the closet to see if foxy is still in the closet but he wasn’t. So I don’t know I was lucky or it was a glitch because I did saw foxy in my closet but and left so I don’t know wtf happen.
The only thing I can think of here is that it hit 4 AM and Nightmare activated, which would instantly cause Foxy to despawn.

That's the only real BS thing about it, and even then it's easily counterable all the way up to Blind Mode Mad Freddy Insta Foxy. Still less ridiculous than FNaF 2 and 3.
@@AmbienceOfficial I find it harder than fnaf 2 and 3 by a little bit, I think fnaf3 is the easiest one of all. I haven't done the 420 or 1020 modes on fnaf 1 or 2 yet but those are all that's left. Currently in fnaf4 mindset so I'm doing 420 on this one first :>

ive always preferred to just let foxy get inside, may sound weird but im more comfortable doing the cycle with foxy rather then accidently letting him in then having to change what im doing which sometimes leads me to accidentally letting bonnie or chica in the room. so if you have that issue as well you can try to just let foxy in, again sounds counter intuitive but it has worked for me
Nightmare ran over to my right door, and I heard a laugh, so I turned my flashlight into the right hallway for a split second, saw that he was there and closed the door emediently. My screen began to flicker, and nightmare was able to kill me through my door
Ok so on this night, nightmare gives you 8 seconds when he stops moving before killing you. When I hear his footsteps stop, I instantly run to the door and close it, this takes about 3-3.5 seconds. And yet, he still decides to go through the damn door and kill me. And btw, something that happened alot for some reason, I close the door, I hear his footsteps meaning he left, and I still die right after.
I keep playing perfectly but nightmare keeps killing me for no reason even though i always get to him on time. It keeps glitching. I've tried the night dozens of times at this point and I'm honestly fed up.

I’ve gotten really close so many times, but every time I fail it feels like I was right on Nightmare to shut him out. Is the window to slam the door on him really that tight or is the game possibly glitched? I haven’t been using the flashlight at all either unless I need to check for a fake laugh.
Update: Just beat it the next day after about five attempts. Turns out I just needed to get my well rested buff in order to be on point with my Nightmare shutdowns. Now onto the six bonus stars
Alright so I’ve gotten to point where I can consistently get to 4am. But that’s where the problems arise. I’m doing exactly what you say: waiting two seconds after Nightmare’s footsteps finish, then checking that side, I’ve tried flashing him then closing the door, not flashing him and then closing it, nothing works. I’ll close the door on him, and then my screen will fade to black and he’ll kill me. Sometimes I even hear him start to run away from the door as my screen begins to fade. Please help lol.

With this strat I beat this mode in like 5 tries i got really lucky foxy didn't come to my closet the whole night and the nightmare section was very easy Time to do the challenges.

I got to 5am (not expecting too) and nightmare went to the right (I know that as I replayed the footage and only one pair of footsteps) go to the right door to instantly close it but I die anyway as that was the speed I was going the entire 4-6 am segment

he laughs, i check the door and its real. i check the bed, not there, so he's in the closet. i run up to the closet and close it but he kills me. its on night 7.
Edit: Turns out, the problem was i never loaded the closet. so i have to load the closet at the start of the night.

So i have been attempting this challenge and for whatever reason nightmare just kills me randomly is there any way to combat this i use the light occasionally and sometimes i dont but no matter what i die by 5AM
