Wow! This is one of the best demonstrations/tutorials I have ever seen and I've watched a ton from all the gurus. Not only an amazing creation but well narrated, concise, not too fast, not too slow.... A+++ And I am no longer stuck on this piece I'm working on thanks to new ideas!
So impressed with all the techniques you demonstrated that produced such an outstanding finished product. This jewelry box is just beautiful. Need to save this video and watch it several times, there is so much to learn. Thank you for demonstrating your talent for us.
Just a quick tip for anyone wanting to try something similar, dry brushing is a lot easier and more subtle if you use a larger natural bristle brush or chip brush as opposed to a small synthetic artist brush. It also prevents those stop and start brush strokes from showing as much especially on larger surfaces and will save a lot of time.
I'm completely Obsessed! The textures and techniques you used on the top of the Armoire are absolutely perfect for damaged pieces that have nicks and dings. You did a stunning job and have offered so very much inspiration! Thank you.
If you plan to sell this beautiful piece, how would you factor in the products you added? Though I have a fairly extensive inventory, I'd have to purchase several more products to achieve a similar finish. Though I may have leftover product to use in the future, there is the outlay up front. The quandry is always in pricing as my furniture art is a hobby that I am happy to recoup my out of pocket expenses. I appreciate for many, it's a business with profit goals they strive to achieve. BTW, you're a very good educator as well as content creator!
Our products also come as small as a 1oz size. You don't need a ton for a glaze or metallic but Renee does have the larger sizes as buying larger and using for multiple projects does keep costs down in the long run as you thought.

I so appreciate you watching!! I usually calculate the cost of the products and then calculate the percentage used for the specific project.
