Thanks a lot! Also to people who encounter an error when you open sync application and it shuts down immediately, try downloading the advanced version instead of normal and do everything the same as shown in the video afterwards. It helped me, hope it helps some of you

The counter still won't show for me, any clues as to why?
@@nacgodty maybe you forgot to type in "o i". After you do that you need to start osu! and it should say "inject done" on the sync app. If it doesn't try typing in "o i" again for several times and if it still doesn't work then I don't know what the problem is

If it states similar to "Problem occures reporting it to the developer" in the end line of the codes then there is something wrong with the overlay setup or even corrupted version of the exe.
How to fix:
Delete the file called Config.ini on the main folder (Sync) ; (make sure that the program isn't open) and after that, restart the program. It will delete the whole data ranging from the updates and the uploaded overlays but it will re-upload the Config once you open the sync.exe again.

I think if I had pp counter I will be very nervous when Im about to get a top play.
For anyone trying out sync at the time of this post and it isn't working, dw, it's everyone else too that it's broken. Osu updates frequently break sync, so the devs need to keep updating it. Thing is, they don't keep up with it consistently, meaning you could be left weeks without a fix. Sync is an awesome program, but only when it works ):

When I got the gray box issue I went into config and then real time pp displayer from there I changed the output method to all and now it works, I also changed the text output path to rtpp.txt which would be at the top but I don't know if that really did anything.

I did everything you said, but after I downloaded it and typed in "rtpp" the box just stopped showing up altogether, I didn't click anything else. Maybe because of the pp rework?

I found a fix! Here it is \/
I have a D & C disk on my computer. In the "PPshowConfig.json" file, it says this: "output_file": "F:\\output\\PP.txt" for about 10 times. I changed all of them to:
"output_file": "D:\\output\\PP.txt". (Osu is installed on my D disk. If your Osu is installed on a different disk, you need to change "F" to the disk where osu is installed on) Changing it to this: "output_file": "D:\\output\\PP.txt" made it work for me!

After coming across with my sync.exe for almost 4 months of not using, I have this unique bug where the miss count syncs with the song's beat per second measured by 4/4. Also it's already very broken after tampering with it so I started fresh on the installs.
Hi! I followed every step you did, but the text itself isn't visible. The small box in the corner did appear but when I select a song to play, the box goes missing, and I also noticed the green window that had the texts also becomes blank green. Any idea what happened? ;w;
EDIT: I got it, I checked all the 'when is it visible?' Choices, including the 'break time' option. I disabled the break time one and now I can see it while playing. Thanks so much man!👍

i was using cutting edge i changed to stable build and it was fixed
ok so i have one disk that is C: and osu was installed on the windows user folder then i uninnstalled and reinstalled osu in programs file (x86)taht dosent worked
Normal version was missing a file ingame counter. so I downloaded the advanced one and it works

So I was trying for a longer time now and then I just started from the beginning. Delete every Sync file, download the advanced version. Have osu! closed, open Sync, type in "o i" and then open osu!. Then I just went into a map and it finally worked. Gonna edit it now :D

i have questions:
1. everytime i close and open osu! (while sync is open) the counter disappears. so i have to manually set it up again.
2. why cant i set the position to more than 1280x720? i have a 1920x1080 display and i want to put it below the accuracy meter but i cant. is there a way to set it hihger than 1280x720?

For those who can't get their ingame pp to work:
in the config.ini, fill up the OsuApiKey and the target_user_name.
You can get your OsuApiKey here: osu.ppy.sh/p/api/
Target_user_name should be your username
DO NOT change the api key below target_user_name
In-game stats like pp-show and map_info_ingame worked for me but the rtpp didn't work so it wasn't the ppshowconfig at fault.
Setting the location from mmf to my osu folder didn't work but the one above did for me.

Does sync.exe crash or close down? If not, you might be in luck. If nothing shows up ingame, try typing "o i" again in to the console. Sometimes it says that its done the injection even though nothings been added.

Yeah, same here. It gives me the error message to use default font, so I pick a font and it still doesn't show up for me.
I got it working now somehow. I didn't change anything except when I went into config and then TealTimePPDisplayer. I changed the output method to *all* (it's a dropdown menu in the RealTimePPDisplayer section) and I restarted my Osu and Sync. When I opened them back up, I saw the text immediately. Another thing to note is that I still had the rtpp in the mmf name and the font I selected before closing it to restart.

@@Finu23GamerDE fixed it I just removed thee sync folder and reinstalled all 3 plugins but I didn't changed the overlays in the config.
