The Man, The Myth, The Legend! We give you Tom Bombadil! What is there not to love about this handsome rogue? And my oh my doesn't he look like Jack Black!
If you hear that song coming up over the hill, then you know there's nothing to fear anymore. I don't think I've ever seen another character as immovably benevolent as Tom Bombadil
I think Tom was meant to be a creature manifesting what men want in their lives at some level, some land, a loving wife, and self-sufficiency. Because he has everything that such a creature needs, he is unaffected by the ring, as he doesn't desire anything more than what he has. If that's true, then killing Goldberry is the key to turning Tom evil or at the least vengeful.
"Lol, you won't believe it, I convinced these dudes I'm a wizard! I'm in this whole adventure and everything!!" "Honestly Gary, these excuses not to tell your wife you're out drunk again are getting a little out of hand."
I never trusted Bombadil in the books. He's irresponsible and chaotic and COULD do good but only does so on a whim. I always viewed him as some kind of evil spirit, considering he lives alongside malevolent entities like Old Man Willow, communes with them, but doesn't seem willing to destroy them completely. He seems shady and dishonest.

Jack really could be Tom Bombadil! Hell he may even be Tom Bombadil right now!
Tom is the best
He really could lol.
I could totally see it. That would be freaking awesome if jack did play him
@@workout9269 he has the right personality, charm and charisma for such a portrayal for sure!

Idk why but I feel like if Tom was in the movie trilogy he would be played by Jack Black 😂
My vote is for Danny Devito. I think he could put an interesting spin on the character!
that 3rd picture looks just like him, I got caught that too LOL
If that happened the movies would be thrash
@@hereshoping6992 *would be better
Back then it would’ve been ROBIN WILLIAMS!!! Absolutely no one else.
Tom and Goldberry are my favorite. Im pissed they didnt put them in the movie. It would have looked gorgeous on film too.
Tom Bombadils song is awesome. Best song in the book!
These are so quick and factual! I love them!
Thank you for your support!
I love me some Tom Bombadil!
Don't we all! Such a loveable character!

Tom Bombadil feels like the Aslan of the verse
If only we knew what he and Gandalf discussed!!!!
Now those tales would be legendary to listen to!

Love Tom❤
Love Tom Bombadil...
idk why but for me and i think that he is Eru Ilúvatar itself
We need an animated series of all of tolkiens work. The only way to do it proper justice.
The artwork of tom he looks like jack black lol 😆 😂 😊
There's not "few" like him, there is _noone_ like him
I love tom!
Tom Tom Tom
Tom Tom Tom Tom BOMBADIL!!!!!!
TOM TOM TOM!!!!
He sounds like another wizard like Gandalf.
Why does the 3rd picture look like Jack Black cosplaying Tom Bombadil. LOL, Dead.
I still think he’s Eru or at least a personification of him or something like that.
Well... it's a long time since I last read LotR but I do remember that Goldberry was the river woman's daughter and not daughter of the river. 🤔🙄
Ben kim miyim?
Jack black would play a good Tom based on that one pic
I believe hes the music
I could definitely believe that!
So, Morgoth in his prime vs Ungoliant? Who wins? :0
The Jack Black of Middle Earth
he is literally a troll face
why didn't Tom take the ring to Mordor?
I didn’t know he married goldberry
Tom bombadill is Jack Black
In character, body and soul!
Jack Black would make a great Tom Bombadil!
A theory suggested that he was either the earthly incarnation of Eru Illuvatar or the embodiment of the nature
The image in the thumbnail looks like jack black xDDD
And wouldn’t Jack Black make a phenomenal Tom Bombadil!
@@Bitesize_Geekyes indeed hahahaha
Now that would be a movie/show worth watching!
Lol on his buckle
Jack Black would be the best Tom!
He lived in what river ? I can’t make out what you said 😂
Jack black would be perfect for this role
Who was Tom Bombadil? Well judging by the picture in this thumbnail, he’s Jack Black.

I do like the logic behind that!
I kinda thought old man willow was his counterpart.
Of course! It's Jack Black!
I SWEAR IF THEY MAKE JACK BLACK AS TOM IMA LOSE MY SH1T! 💀
Such a mistake to leave him out of the movie.🥺
What's not to love? Literally everything. I hate Tom Bombadil with a passion. He was abusive to the REAL hero of the story--Old Man Willow.
Jack Black? 😂
The third picture looks like Jack Black.. xD
