  • This is a second try at using the Rabaconda for mounting a 17" tire going from an Anakee Wild to a nearly street Anakee tire (the stock tire that came on the F850GS when I purchased it) for an upcoming all-road trip. I have definitely improved some techniques and spent a LOT LESS TIME and a LOT LESS ENERGY doing the job.

HA! It's at a minimum a bead breaker. I hope it shows that it's a lot more than that though. Sure made things easy compared to the manual method.

Hey Bob do you have a video for brake bleeding for the 2019 F850GS?
    THANK YOU!

Hey man -sorry for the delay. I fell off of responding to comments. Sigh. I responded to your earlier version of the question. Let me know if you wind up doing it on yours and how it goes!

I attempted using my rabaconda for the first time yesterday and managed to bend a spoke on my rear wheel for my r1250gs. Seems to be quite a bit of flex with the location of the supports. Have you had any issues with this?

Bummer on the spoke dude! What flex were you seeing - in which supports? In general I found that most times when things flex due to prying "very hard" are situations where looking at what you're doing can lead to doing it in a better way. That usually means like dropping the tire into the divot so there's more space on the other side to relieve stress.

Yeah - Sigh - most of that happened in the last go-round. But definitely got 'em again this time too.
