Another spongebob refference is a VERY VERY RARE event where the king jellyfish gets a hat on it (Like a double strapped hat), this king jellyfish is also meant to play music but it broke at some point. I forgot what spongebob refference it was but I remember it’s 100% a spongebob refference.
It does NOT share the same sound as the golem laser, they are very different if you go and listen to them back to back. I think it being a genshin impact reference is the most plausible as it doesn't share anything with the RoR2 golems outside of 'shooting a laser.' If it did the hand-clap move the RoR2 golems do I'd be more inclined to agree.

I love this series, I've made a (shitty) Kal build with Surge and Specter path and I'm currently making a Szeth build. With the new purple cloud weapon I immediately thought of Nightblood, both are sentient, cursed, and entrusted to one by one of the strongest in the world. Szeth is very proficient in hand to hand and trys not to draw the weapon much so the fist m1s with the draw for the crit was so similar.

I would say teleportation is more inspired by Whis from Dragon Ball Super with his ability to travel at light speed. It even puts the circle around them when he uses it in the show and from the outside it looks like a beam of light travelling.

6:19, Small correction on this, the drowned gods cause insanity to those who observe them yet the other gods like Cthulhu, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep etc etc dont do that. Its more so for those who aren't already well aware of how the world works CAN go insane due to the information overload and having their world view flipped upside down, this can happen with ANY otherworldly figure like the gentleman cats, squid guys, the fucken rats, and much more.
