Blue Man Group had nothing to do with the closing of Nickelodeon Studios. Nick had been gone for 18 months before BMG surfaced. The real reasons for the closure have been discussed in other tribute videos. Josh Yawn, who had connections to the Studios, discussed the reasons as well on his website.

They didnt really tear it down, They repainted it and some left original.. there is equipment in most of the rooms, the elevator is still working, Lights still on, Waters work.. Also the escalators dont work though.. But the scenery of the characters is still there.
i like the blue man group and all, but they should NOT have taken away Nickelodeon Studios just to put blur man group there. blue man group is not good enough that they should have taken away Nick Studios and i dont care if the blue man group came 18 months after, i still hold them responsible.
Yeah, In 2004, Hurricane Charley Hit Orlando, Florida And There Was Severe Damage, Universal Studios Florida Was Caught In The Hurricane And Damage Did Get Inflicted On The Parks, Nickelodeon Studios Included, Damage On Nickelodeon Studios Was Minor, Just The Sign And The Slime Geyser Were Damaged, So That Is Why The Sign Looks Like That.

What You Dont Get Is Nick Studios Probaly Was Planing To Shut Down For A Time And Decided To Sell And It Just Happend To Be The Blue Man Group. Dont Go Against Blue Man Group In my Opinion I Love Their Music But Its Not Their Fault Nick Studios Shutdown!

He only part of nick being there is the kids store which has spongebob all over the walls so exept for that it's gone.......

Sometime in late 2004 or early 2005 the building received a new paint job to be in line with Nickelodeon’s newer channel bumpers.
