I learned a lot here- including that Final Cut has a built in Handheld effect. How awesome! We’re also rewatching Breaking Bad right now, and you really nailed that warm/high contrast tone.
Peter this is a great video. I really enjoy when you break your editing down. This is a crazy amount of work. That sound design is ridiculous. Well done my friend, well done.
My standing ovation for you at 06:07 I was skeptical & really wondered how would you take this particular RPM needle swipe with unintended ABS, battery, oil indications shot into editing during post production. And Voila. !!!!👏👏👏👌👌👌
Nice breakdown! One question - when slowing down to an uneven value (like 78%) aren't you afraid it will chop some frames weirdly when exporting in 24p?
This is amazing stuff. Good job! You've given me a whole new perspective on sound layering. Also, the RPM gauge in Texas I've always heard it referred to as a tachometer. lol Keep up the good stuff! Can't wait for the next one.
why dislike this video??? Peter is sharing his knowledge with us for FREE, and you can learn from him and make money. What are the thumb down people thinking about?
Thanks Peter for the editing breakdown. I love seeing how others edit and I always learn something new to apply to my editing MO. The rough cut is so important. It gets things moving right along. If I start adding titles, sound effects, color, etc... too early then I get distracted and it drags on.
Hey mate just want to say thank you for all your tips/tutorials. I was struggling to find the perfect Picture Profile for my Sony til I found your channel. Keep up the good work!
this is so awesome what you gave us !!I I've seen some UA-camrs who show us their workflow but no-one did detailed as you did in this video! thanks a lot for this ! love from Czech Republic
Been a great couple of videos and amazing to see what goes into such a short film. I would appreciate if you could ever make a video about the sound levels and what is the ideal db range for the different things you add. Such as music and ambient to get best from them. Atb
Really awesome breakdown 👍. One more like in the comment. I really enjoy watching your videos, they are always very educational and much in depth. This one Specially the post motion effects and sound designs. It is already 1 am and couldn't wait until morning. Thanks Peter.
hope you create more Vietnamese subtitles and I love watching clips you make in Vietnam even though I don't understand what you are saying, have a nice day.

Nice breakdown!
One question - when slowing down to an uneven value (like 78%) aren't you afraid it will chop some frames weirdly when exporting in 24p?
same question
Not really no! I've noticed that slowing down a 30fps clip on a 24fps timeline can playback good at around 75% without anyone noticing 👍
@@PeterLindgren1 thank you!
Одной Правой you can even apply optical flow to your clips
Thanks a lot! Hugs from Portugal! Stay safe!

Thanks Peter for the editing breakdown. I love seeing how others edit and I always learn something new to apply to my editing MO. The rough cut is so important. It gets things moving right along. If I start adding titles, sound effects, color, etc... too early then I get distracted and it drags on.
