as a premiere pro user, im starting jealous of final cut
I knew there'll be a breakdown on the editing. This is so dope🔥🔥
you know what i like the most in your videos dude ? your biceps ! and your videos are amazing
u r the Picasso of a perfectionist.
your all videos are very great man.
My go to UA-cam channel for breakdown. Quality quality quality is all I got to say.
Peter this is a great video. I really enjoy when you break your editing down. This is a crazy amount of work. That sound design is ridiculous. Well done my friend, well done.
Super Thanks for showing us the process. Please make more like that!
I learned a lot here- including that Final Cut has a built in Handheld effect. How awesome!
We’re also rewatching Breaking Bad right now, and you really nailed that warm/high contrast tone.
Thank you for the rundown & behind the scenes.. very helpful & Inspirational....
You speak better English than some native speakers here. You are talented bro. God bless you
This is amazing stuff. Good job! You've given me a whole new perspective on sound layering.
Also, the RPM gauge in Texas I've always heard it referred to as a tachometer. lol
Keep up the good stuff! Can't wait for the next one.
Nice breakdown!
One question - when slowing down to an uneven value (like 78%) aren't you afraid it will chop some frames weirdly when exporting in 24p?
same question
Not really no! I've noticed that slowing down a 30fps clip on a 24fps timeline can playback good at around 75% without anyone noticing 👍
@@PeterLindgren1 thank you!
Одной Правой you can even apply optical flow to your clips
favourite beverage of choice! love this guy
Dude sick video man!
Love your attention to detail. A+ video
love this editing breakdown, so that we can learn more about the editing process, thanks
Love your breakdown of your cinematic car video. More of these videos please!
This is sick !!! Loved the breakdown.
Absolutely incredible Peter! Stuff like this makes you appreciate this video even more. What an edit!! Thanks for sharing your process 😁👍🏼
I personally loved the drone shots most💯❤️
Brilliant Peter jus flippin brilliant
I think because you aren't specialized in car videos you brought a lot of interesting little ideas in that I don't typically see. Bravo!
i absolutely love the fact you broke down your steps... So helpful
Boooooooooom Peter! This is awesome! Very inspirational as always... Following your steps!
Great idea for using scale to add some movement!
Peter, great Job and super learning effect! Thx
I always love watching your videos! So much learning and understanding! Thanks again Peter👍🏻
Yesterday we talked about this video - and there it is! 😍 thank you so much for this one! I appreciate! Greetings out of Germany 💯👌🏾
Love this, thank you! More please.
Both of them the Peter's (McKinnon & Lindgren) is so damn awesome in making video. Really give me an inspiration.
Really awesome breakdown 👍. One more like in the comment. I really enjoy watching your videos, they are always very educational and much in depth. This one Specially the post motion effects and sound designs. It is already 1 am and couldn't wait until morning. Thanks Peter.
New lighting setup in the studio is on point!!! Congrats!!!
why dislike this video??? Peter is sharing his knowledge with us for FREE, and you can learn from him and make money. What are the thumb down people thinking about?
hope you create more Vietnamese subtitles and I love watching clips you make in Vietnam even though I don't understand what you are saying, have a nice day.
super💪💪💪💪💪sound effect perfect match, love to see more about video editing
Thank you Peter! Another really awesome informative video, always with enthousiasme and a smile on your face ! Keep it up ! 💪🏻🎬
Thanks Peter, you know you are a gift right! Keep being great
Small details make huge difference. Again congrats to you Peter. This sequence is just amazing. I (if I may) just miss a close-up to a gear shifted somewhere ;)
Thanks! We thought about it but since it's an automatic it wasn't really fitting 😅
@@PeterLindgren1 Indeed, it makes sens 😏
Thanks Pete!! Love the broll so much!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣❤👍🏼❤👍🏼❤👍🏼
what an awesome video man! I'm loving it!
I like really that you know what you do before you do it, not many vidoegraphers doing that, thanks dude!
Awesome video Peter! I really liked the masking idea and hand held effect. PS. It's called a Tachometer not a Rev Meter or Rev Guage. Keep up the great content
Really enjoyed your videos. Next stop Hollywood for you I'm sure.
Off the top, wanted to say, great thumbnail. I saw your post about the previous video thumbnail on the Facebook group. That was a great thumb as well!
excellent use of that handheld. excellent.
Hey mate just want to say thank you for all your tips/tutorials. I was struggling to find the perfect Picture Profile for my Sony til I found your channel. Keep up the good work!
this is so awesome what you gave us !!I I've seen some UA-camrs who show us their workflow but no-one did detailed as you did in this video! thanks a lot for this ! love from Czech Republic
Great breakdown Peter love your stuff. That timeline with all those sound effects is crazy haha Nice job.
Thanks bro for shot discription, really enjoyed
you are the best movie maker bro.
awesome video, amazing shots, perfect edit! You are very professional, Peter from Sweden!!
Thanking you from the Pacific, Fiji Islands...great video indeed
Thanks Peter for the editing breakdown. I love seeing how others edit and I always learn something new to apply to my editing MO. The rough cut is so important. It gets things moving right along. If I start adding titles, sound effects, color, etc... too early then I get distracted and it drags on.
This was amazing!
Just great! Great behind the scenes! So much work behind that!
Loved every second!
Epic as always!
Pleas man do more of this, very helpful
Peter .. .Thank you so much 😉 You are really an inspiration to me
thanks a lot for Breakdown. It really means a lot for learners. Dope explanation as always. Keep up Peter :)
Thanks a lot! Hugs from Portugal! Stay safe!
i'm a simple man. I see another professional using, FCPX, I like the video.
You are a monster fratello, thanks for inspiring me
Thanks for sharing the breakdown and the level of detail you added. Great video.
My standing ovation for you at 06:07 I was skeptical & really wondered how would you take this particular RPM needle swipe with unintended ABS, battery, oil indications shot into editing during post production. And Voila. !!!!👏👏👏👌👌👌
amazing work buddy.
Excellent breakdown! Thank you for sharing
Love it! Great work!
PL the man ! Way to go
You are my Inspiration! Nice Video keep going
This epic car commercial just blow my mind.. and thank you Peter for the breakdown..✌️✌️

wow that's a lot of hard work! Appreciate it all man!
Awesome and i guess how you worked hard to find a best suitable sound ........... learning a lot from you...Thank you...
Peter! Such a great explanation on how this sequence broken down. I just got my Mac mini and haven’t unboxed yet. The only reason I bought this machine its because of the FCPX and your tutorial will be really helpful to achieve good workflow. Thanks man!
Awesome mate, very inspirational. Time to step up my game.
I do a rough cut first as well before sound colour or anything else. Loved the video and this breakdown.

Amazing tutorial man, love the details you are providing for each scene. This is the first video I am watching on your channel and I am instantly subscribing. Great content, also liked the challenger filming and color grading videos. Cheers.
Yeah...thank you for this editing video.
You are not less than santa claus @peter lindgren. We just wished this video and you gave it..
Thank you...it is amazing.
Been a great couple of videos and amazing to see what goes into such a short film. I would appreciate if you could ever make a video about the sound levels and what is the ideal db range for the different things you add. Such as music and ambient to get best from them. Atb
Dude, I’m totally digging your videos! Keep up the great work:)
Awsome!! Love your work.
Very neat and clean❣️❣️
Hey Peter! Great job as always!! One question: did you register the sound of that car or did you find it online ?
hey peter i watch your videos everyday to learn and your stuff is awesome man if i visit to sweden i will definitely meet you creator like you and your hardworking time in youtube you are top 5 in my list, take a good care of your self while shooting i know its very hard with dji gimble to shoot outside of the car and nonsense laws while shooting hope you can understand lolz bye.
Awesome, thank you for sharing!
Missed it eagerly.....XD.
Gr8 video.🙋🙋
