    First. Thanks for showing us the repair process.

    After all lug nuts are torqued to spec, use a paint pen to make a mark on the lug nut and wheel. That way you can visually inspect if they are getting loose as the marks will not be lined up.

      @@about12acres Thanks, its a good idea to do that with other crucial bolts such as loaders and backhoes as they articulate frequently under force.

      They make a product for this, called Torque seal. We use it in the aviation industry.

    Bought a Deere 3038e back in 2014. Dealer told me to retighten all the lugs after 5 hours, so I did. About 5 more hours on the tractor, I used the bucket to move a big pile of dirt for the first time. The rear wheel came off. Deere sent out a mechanic in a service truck to fix it, so I was thankful.

    Just wanted to give you a shout out, for just starting your channel and only having three videos. I think you’re off to a good start. In one of your videos, he mentioned that you were in the south, but nothing on your channel says where you actually are. It looks very similar to Western North Carolina where I live.

      Thanks for checking out the channel early on! Trying to figure out my posting schedule has been difficult since I film multiple videos at the same time and the projects are all dependent on the weather. I’m hoping to have a more consistent stream of videos soon!
      To answer your question about location I am near the NC border on the SC side of the foothills

    seems like you kept a good attitude about it! at least by the time you made the video! know how it goes to have something go wrong when all you had in mind was getting the project done. glad it got back up and running in a couple days.

    Wow bummer on the wheel.
    Looks like things are coming along..
    On taking out the trees I would take a long log chain and attach it high as you can up in the tree. They will pull over sometimes and the stump comes with them.
    Did you see the saw jimmy got ?
    You are going to need one of those for sure 😃. Jim in Chile

    • @about12acres
      @about12acres  8 місяців тому

      Definitely going to use the chain for a lot of these trees! And I could certainly use Jimmy’s chainsaw haha!

    You need a saw blade at the end of a trimmer. That will chew through briers and keep you out of range from the thorns.

    Glad you're fixed up man. Love the tractor and good luck with the channel! One question about the TX25; did you just get this machine recently? Your loader joystick looks much more ergonomic than I have seen in other videos. Maybe they were earlier versions, but it used to look very high and almost like a BMX bike handle. Yours looks like it's much lower and has a nicer shape.

    • @about12acres
      @about12acres  8 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for checking out the channel! I took delivery of this tractor in late November 2023. I too noticed the previous run of machines had a different handle, so far no oddities with this one.

      Definitely would in most use cases. I want to keep this particular part of the property less disturbed by machine because I’m setting up a bird sanctuary area. The rest of the place is getting the proper treatment haha!
