Now I understand what Rose meant what she said "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY" coz to be Honest there is no skippable song in the Album ... Each song is a Title Track Material...Well done to Blackpink and to YG Entertainment
YG always prefer Quality over Quantity for Music. the reason they are often to comeback. its not because they don't have good music but they always put The Best song to their listeners.
Yes, if you watch BLACKPINK Light Up Thd Sky... as Teddy said they could release music anytime since they got a bunch of music in their hard disk, but rather than producing a lot of music they rather want it to be perfect before it can be released to the world.
"THE ALBUM" PROVED THAT "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY" IS A REAL DEAL.. Hats Off to YG.. Hats Off to OUR PINKS for giving us such an amazing album.. its literally what Rosé said on Grammy Interview "Now its the perfect time for the full album released.. if released earlier it would be bit early & not perfect and if released later it would be too late".. last but not the least i wanna thanked our mastermind TEDDY and other producers for making all the sicked beats in the album..

@@serenesational yeah! i'm a huge fan of LINKIN PARK since 2006 i really miss Chester😥.. i'm glad that you liked my comment.. its something we fans need to acknowledge/see if we really love the artists.. we should know music is all about the musical abilities and qualities not the number of tracks having enormous number of tracks doesn't define the value of an artist.. enough of those blaming on companies or others for the lack of releases... i mean BLACKPINK is a world class group i don't understand why many people thinks like making a quality music is easy as they think of.. the same people who complains about lack of songs will again complain when they got many songs as they demand/wanted but bad songs.. its like the mentality of these people are really something they aren't really the true fans... I started my kpop journey from 2007/8 after listening to a song by BIGBANG( Blackpink's Big brothers , Labelmates from YG entertainment) since then I have been listening to every kind of kpop groups but the kind of vibe and music i got from YG artists is really unique and different from any other kpop groups or companies.. and that made me a proud VIP(BIGBANG fandom) and a BLINK since the pre-debut era...yeah YG entertainment is not perfect they lacks on some point but that doesn't mean they are worst or bad..

Quantity doesn’t have anything to do with quality. Some people are more talented because the idols themselves are musical geniuses. Because they lack in musical skills, it takes them longer to finish. Just like in school some people are naturally smarter and do more work than those who are born slower when studying. The same thing applies to music. They just know how to sing and dance but are amateurs in making music on their own. They always need Teddy. Without Teddy what can they do? Some idols don’t need their in-house producers and can make music on their own.
I think that making lovesick girls as their title track is a smart move on their part. maybe they want to test the market by stepping out of bp’s comfort zone and come out w/ another genre. I mean if in case it won’t be taken well by the general public then they still got the album to listen to. So no loss on bp’s part. Have to agree tho that all songs in the album can be used as a single hahaha
I agree. 'Cause I noticed in the arrangement of tracklist, Pretty Savage is in no. 3. I think Pretty Savage was set to be their title track. But since like you said, YG probably wanted to test the market by choosing Lovesick Girls instead.

their album is like bigbang’s where i don’t really skip any track. every single song is so good and i wouldn’t even call myself i crazy fan of them but their album is really good. been playing pretty savage everyday 😅❤️
노래가 처음듣고 좋은노래보단 lovesickgirl 이 난 제일좋다고 느낍니다 들을수록 중독성있고 안무는 간결하면서도 정말 좋은거 같고 비트도 예술이였음 무엇보다 팝 장르에 SAD한 슬픈가사를 즐거우면서도 오묘하게 풀어나간게 신기했고 뭔가 찡한 여운이 남았음 역시 블핑이다 싶었음

i personally think lovesick girls was the best choice for the title track, why? because they released hylt and that was a black song then they released ice cream which was a pink song and lastly lsg which is a blackpink song!!! it makes sense!!

Many said that they wished Pretty Savage should be the title track, but I feel like Lovesick Girl the is the better choice this time because it shows the BP power to go into different kind of music. This is the time to show that BP is more than just a sick beat and badass chicks. I donno how to explain myself but I just love Lovesick Girl. And what I like the most is this time, the pinks are out there, they have outdoor scene finally woohoo!!! Finally, I can see my pretty babies under the sun and the moon. Real sun and moon haha BUT YO I AGREE THAT ALL OF THE SONGS ARE TITLE TRACK MATERIAL AND THAT IS A HUGE PROBLEM HAHAHA This is like when BigBang dropped MADE. All songs are title track material and I wished they had done the same kind of promotion where two songs every month. Aaaahhh the amount of videos we can get if that happened.... The Album is such a bop, amazing, awesome and everything great. The wait is so worth it. I choose to have 8 good songs than lengthy album with skippable songs. I hope they snatch the Grammy's Best New Artist next year.

제 개인적으로도 아쉬움은 앨범 전곡이 타이틀감이라는게 아쉽다면 아쉽네요... 이게 묻힐 곡이 아닌데.. 프리티 세비지는 그냥 진짜 블핑 노래 그 자체였고 카디비 피처링 곡도 완전 팝적이고 좋고 특히 놀란건 럽투헤이미 이네요.. 완전 팝 노래인데 이걸 블랙핑크 만의 색으로 소화한게 너무 대단했습니다 그리고 크레이지 오버유도 사운드가 정말 독특하면서 좋았고 그냥 거를곡이 없는 앨범이네요.... 개인적으로 여아이돌 노래를 많이 듣고 앨범 나오면 전곡 다 들어보는 편인데 블핑 이번 앨범은 그냥 미쳤습니다...
다 타이틀급인데 타이틀은 타이틀곡인 이유가있는거 같아요 럽식걸은 블핑만의 색깔과 대중성까지 다 잡을 수 있는 곡이라
유명 작곡가 다참여한곡이라 빌보드 입성하는데 버프가있을거라 예상됨 그래서 타이틀곡으로 잡은것도 큰것같은데 개인적으로 타이틀곡 작곡이 제일조음ㅎㅎ

One of them said that the only disappointment in the album is that all the other tracks couldn't be used as the title track because every single song in the album proves to be great especially Pretty Savage because it's truly a BlackPink song. They also said the album is perfect.

아쉬운점 격공입니다. 이번 앨범 수록곡들 진짜 버리기 아까운 곡들 투성이. 욕심 같아선 하나하나 다 활동 했으면 좋겠습니다 ㅋㅋ 월드투어 할때 콘서트에서나 들을수 있겠죠.
럽식걸즈랑 프리티세비지 둘중에 타이틀로 고르다가 럽식걸즈가 선택된듯.
블핑 전매특허 블랙핑크 인 유어 에리어 인트로가 프리티세비지에 있는걸로 보아 프리티세비지랑 럽식걸즈가 막판까지 타이틀로 왔다갔다 했을듯 싶음.
럽식걸즈를 타이틀로 고른 이유는 지금쯤에서 곡의 변화가 필요하다거나 순환작용이 필요한 시기라 럽식걸즈를 선택했을 가능성이 큼.
블핑식 edm드랍비트가 슬슬 질려가던 찰라이기도 했음.
매번 곡의 구조가 비슷하니 유저들도 드랍비트 나오겠거니 생각해서 많이 식상해진 타이밍이기도 했음.
그래서 한번쯤 곡의 변화나 순환을 위해 럽식걸즈를 택한듯.
다만 프리티세비지 들어보니 그래도 난 강한 노래가 더 좋다고 생각함 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

I really am waiting for this reaction since the MV was released.. LOL... I wish you guys would do review the full album, but turned out you guys already heard and give your thoughts here...... its okay.. Im happy you guys love it.. since BLINKS, even international BLINKS really think that this album is a MASTERPIECE... I never really said I love all the songs from one album, but I cant even choose my fav song from this album, I mean all songs are really great , and yeah I truly agree, they should have MV for all the songs, its all a BANGER!!!
Jennie is so versatility in this album. Her rap so versatility, her flow, sound, technique is dofferent in every songs that's why she is MAIN RAPPER, she is the best. And her vocal soung beautiful and amazing and her vocal is verastility too, that's why she is lead vocal. Her acting skills in MV is inredible too

just like what jisoo said in Pretty savage.. "we can do black or pink,..." LSG is a mix of black and pink lyrics and theme wise and the chorus isn't just an empty beat instruments this time which makes me love it and separate it from other titles they released...
