Thank you so much for sharing, Alberta has cut out NNAS for nurses with licenses in 9 countries. Jamaica, US, UK, India, Philippines, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Nigeria. So it can take as short as even 6 weeks to get authorization to sit nclex from the CRNA.

What if the candidate already had passed the NCLEX in the USA, does he have to take it again for a Canadian RN License? Is the Alberta program closed, if yes what are the other options available. Hi, I am in process under Alberta pilot project. I am from UK. I have received NNAS Advisory report which is not required now anyway; however, I am only awaiting the response from CRNA, all my documents are uploaded and haven't heard from CRNA, do I need to do anything or simply wait. I have e mailed them and messaged as well, but there is no response yet. I believe now I will hear from them regarding eligibility to sit for NCLEX. All the icons are green and blue for exam, university and jurisdictions verification.

I have submitted my CRNA application under substantial equivalence. Paid for liability insurance and initial permit since on the 9th of September but till now I have not heard from CRNA. I have written them twice but no response. Pls what do I do?

Yes you can but only if you don't have any contractual agreement with Nova Scotia

A day ago, I received an email to upload my degree transcript, degree certificate, license and official NCLEX pass letter. I have uploaded them and waiting for their response. I already have my NCLEX, IELTS. Moreover I have also already applied with CRNA. I hope all these help me.

just checked it now and saw the same thing. Its either the pathway has closed or there is another link for application. I will ask around and let you know in the comments.
The link is closed for now. They did a recent zoom meeting for those selected and they said they had too many applications that's why it was closed, but it will reopen again in summer.

Also I applied through AHS, can I still apply through the other pathway if not sure of AHS?.
We just have to stay hopeful that you would get shortlisted. As regards applying through other pathways, I belive that you can as as long as you have not yet started anything officially with AHS.

For this pathway, they only want the NNAS assessment and if you get shortlisted, it will already be paid for

I would like to ask if i should apply now direct with the AHS so they will be the one to guide me with the CRNA to get me a permit or i need to go first and register to CRNA and apply to AHS after i can get my permit from CRNA? you can start with AHS. But if you missed that application. You can go through CRNA. however, it's important to note that if you get the license with them, they don't provide immigration support like the AHS pathway

It's a pilot program, so we don't know yet. It would be in Alberta for sure but no one knows the specifics

I am not sure that i have an answer to that. However, there are foreign trained nurses that help provide transition services to fellow nurses in different countries; they may be the best to answer this question. I would try to get their contacts and post it here.
