  • This is the story of Diana, a soldier, as she went to the restaurant to get her meal. She simply wanted to get her meal and return to her work. However, Nora refused to serve her because she was black. The restaurant refused to serve blacks any food and she was asked to leave. When Diana saw the manager, she believed he was going to be on her side but she was wrong. He told her the same thing and even threatened to have her arrested if she returned to the restaurant. Diana left and returned the next day, but when she did, she did something shocking! What it is will leave you speechless.

Not meaning to be facetious, but you people need to recheck what you write.
Using an ADVERB WHERE when you should have used the VERB WERE is really not a good read.
I have also noticed people using the PRONOUN THEY when the POSSESSIVE PRONOUN THEIR should have been used.
      Ex:
      Incorrect - It's THEY ball.
      Correct - It's THEIR ball.

This story reminds me of one of my own, living in VA and helping with my father's brother to cut timber. He was asked " Why do you only employ blacks?" His reply was the "kicker"! Because they are the only ones willing to do the job. He went on to say that they were so grateful for the fair pay they were willing to break their backs doing a good job. He also said the blacks did not complain about the job, they already knew it was a tough job that needed a tough hired hand to get it done. An honest employer never disrespects an honest worker. The whites think they can get away with a complaint of the job being too tough and needing more monetary reward for getting the job done and on time.
As a kid, I can remember my Dad standing up to criticism of the black community where we lived side by side. I was present watching my Dad's response - even to his own family members visiting. I admired him for his viewpoint and had to rehearse it at different times in my own lifetime. Visiting family members were quickly addressed when my Dad heard any criticism, negative or positive. And even though we moved again because of a job promotion and many other times, the story never changed. Bloom where you're planted.
Dad's company called him away for a job evaluation in another country and he hired the neighbor black family to take care of us while he was gone. He knew he could count on them and so we lived with them for those two weeks, still side by side. Their teenage daughter lived in the house with us, in their bed, while they were gone. They took care of the gardening and cooked all the meals. They were excellent caregivers (and cooks, lol).

Because if there are no consequences for the ones' that do discriminate against black people, they stay in business and prosper, when they shouldn't. Why encourage other restaurants to do the same thing and discriminate if there are no consequences for their discrimination practices? Before you know it, ALL anti-black establishments would rule. By exposing these racist businesses, comes change and freedom to dine anywhere at will. Also, you kill two birds with one stone. By exposing them they go out of business and you can also spend your money elsewhere, since that racist restaurant no longer exists.

I remember for the most part growing up where he had his offices.

the US has laws against racial discrimination but the political will to enforce them by the government is not there and that's why the affected communities are struggling against it on their own. The Soldier is right to take action because if such behaviour is not confronted, the affected community is doomed and that's why they are woke

This is such a big disrespect to the people who fight for very same civilians safety, but they disrespect her like that

Well done you got some views for an AI written story. In this day and age a restaurant don’t want to serve a black officer. Well you don’t want to serve me as a black officer the owner knows I will call a black sanitation officer the owner better make sure he is spotless as that restaurant would be locked down.

All Restaurant's that Refuses too serve BLACKS, Should have a Big Sign saying Otherwise. Cause I can go to another Restaurant. They probably have Black Cooks, working for that Restaurant

Hi! I'm not that old, and I remember when that was done in USA, not that long ago. Such restaurants nowadays get labeled on social media, instead of signs. I suspect you'd like to label such places to shame them. Now we use social media instead of signs on buildings. Take care!

Excellent Diana, you did a wonderful job by standing up to them.Usually a manager wiuld step in to save the situation but he chose to be ignorant and racist, ism so glad their actions dug into their pockets and they paid a higher price for that.Continue to stand up as the Soldier you are and command respect that you deserve.Peace

This particular " story " may or may not have happened. The problem is that this type of blatant , nasty , racism DOES happen. Some white people's knee jerk reaction is that either it's made up , or exaggerated , or more common , " there's two sides to these kind of incidents . There is. A black person on one side , and a racist ignoramus on the other .
P.s I experienced similar treatment growing up in the UK in the 70's and 80's. ( Okay , let the chattering class begin , that was then and not now ).
