Nice looking hike! Great to see Tim and Nichole! Thanks for the recreate responsibly shout out. Trashy people are a peeve of mine. Aggravates me to no end.✌️
Very cool meeting up with friends on the trial!! The trash was terrible!! Not to mention MR. gadget MacGyver over there!! Cool campsite!! Cheers y'all!! J & C
Chris should go by the trail name Inspector Gadget!!! DANG! I feel ya on the trash 😪 The PMT Birch knob section goes through the Jefferson National Forest and private land. The hike down to Elkhorn City is COVERED in trash! Samuel stumbled upon a fresh unopened beer last weekend so that was kinda nice...🤦♂️
I'll never understand why people can't pack out what they pack in. It literally weighs less lol great video and looks like a great time with your buddy. Best of luck on your AT section hike.
Thanks Tonya. I agree, you packed it in when it was at its heaviest and now you just leave it for someone else to take care of. The last two times I have been to the Deam there has been trash left at the campsite.
Oh yes the Green Whatevertheyare's ARE indeed very pretty! That timelapse was cool! I think a proper timelapse needs sparse clouds flowing in the background! Yes the OM 5 floats on me too sometimes! So irritating! I think some company should be able to do better. Oh ya btw I got my Nemo back! It was about a 3 week turn-around time!
Nice little trip. When I went to the deam last year, there was a tore bag of garbage. 13 gal bag full. I took some garbage back with me, but only had a little grocery bag. If ya bring it in, you can bring it out
A hammock camper going back to ground?!?! By choice?!?! The world just keeps getting crazier and crazier.... I'm looking forward to following your upcoming thru-hike though. I've been eyeing the Arc packs and trying to determine if the Arc Blast has enough room for winter camping with a hammock setup for 4-6 days or if I should just go with the larger Arc Haul. My gear seems pretty comparable to yours (minus the tent and sleeping pad of course) so I'll be really interested in how it goes for you on the longer treks with lots of food to carry. Good luck!
Looks like a fun time. Not sure if I missed it in another video, but out of curiosity, why did you choose to take a tent over the hammock for your upcoming section hike?
I decided to take a tent because it seemed to be easier to get a spot on the AT and I like that I can get in and sort my stuff out in the tent during bad weather.
Great time man. Loved this spot even though there was trash. Still great to share another campfire with you
Absolutely brother. Good times as always.
Nice looking hike! Great to see Tim and Nichole!

Thank you. I agree. Drives me crazy to get to a spot and people have left trash everywhere.
This was so much fun. We were thankful for being able to join. 😂 The pancakes. Gee....so much fun. We love our big dork Chris 💗
The pancakes, well, they were a disaster. Chris, ya just gotta love him.
Chris is the Pond Whisperer.
Leaving trash at a campsite is just pure laziness. Cool video Brian and have fun on your section hike on the AT.
Thanks Jason. I agree, pure laziness and lack of respect for others and the outdoors.

Thanks. The trash was a total bummer and you never know what gadgets Chris will have.

That would be a great trail name for him!

Thanks Mark. I’m glad they took care of the tensor for you. The OM5 is great but sometimes like you said it gets a mind of its own.
Sweet time-lapse!
Thanks buddy. Hope to see ya soon.

Absolutely. I’m going to start carrying a bag with me just for that reason.

Crazy I know! I have had the arc blast for a few years now have had no problem carrying my winter hammock set up and 4 days of food.
Already have trash bags in the backpack just in case I run across that bullshit too. Wanted to say good luck on that section hike Carlson😅🎒
Thanks Dan. Hope to see you soon at the meet up!
When are you starting ATP quest ? WE are looking forward to your videos.

Wait? I like the walk out! Enjoyed it, wishing I could have attended. Pancakes were hilarious 😂
Missed you buddy!
I want to pass a thought by you. Why not carry a fly tarp and hang them over these single wall tents everyone uses? Just curious. Fun time!
Is the trail marked very well, signs, marks, etc....thinking about doing a thru hike. Thks for the nice videos
Yes. It’s marked very well with white blazes
Awesome campsite & great friends/company!!! I hate stupid trashy people who leave garbage behind that pisses me off!!!
Thanks Willie. Me too. It’s pretty frustrating.
Can't believe campers still leaving cans in the fire pit. I saw all that trash in Chris' video.
Yeah. It’s pretty frustrating
Mmmm pancakes!
Lol not so yummy
