Amazing saint. I heard this past Sunday's homily about St Catherine, about how she was hungry for Jesus in the Eucharist, where half of the host disappeared after the concresation. Sadly, 70% of Catholics do not believe in the real presence of the Eucharist. Having had a profound conversion experience 16 years ago where God intervened through our Blessed Mother to save my marriage, I have grown with increasing love for the Eucharist. I doubled down on my Mass attendance in person during the pandemic. During the first three months of lockdown, I did feel the same longing for Jesus in the Eucharist.
BVM the most powerful and strongest woman . Strongest women in modern times are Catholic women, Mother Angelica was one of them. Thanks for sharing EWTN!
it is interesting that the whole issue of the ORDINATION of women and the fact that its objections by the magisterium of the Church, that do not stand scrutiny, is not mentioned here. I wonder why?
Only men can be ordained priest, but women can do mich to assist the flock of Christ by teaching, serving, lectoring, singing, doing humanitarian works of mercy.
Women are not the same as men. All are equal, but have different roles in Christ’s Mystical Body. What is important is to know what GOD wants for you individually, and this does include accepting Church teaching. The saints were always faithful to this. +
Saint Catherine, pray that we have such love as strong as yours for the Eucharist✝❤🔥
