Deerfoot Trail is always such a fun drive, even crazier seeing the highway so empty. That view at the 17 Ave SE of the Calgary skyline is stunning. Great stuff!
@@MrSniperFromMars that's the best time to go for road trips around Calgary. You'll notice most of my Calgary videos were recorded when I was staying there for a weekend and I'd wake up bright and early around 6AM to drive around the city to record some footage!
Coming from Manitoba, one of the major difference you notice with Alberta is the lack of trees in the shortgrass prairie. It's quite different from Manitoba in that regard. Manitoba is long-grass prairie with lots of greenery and forests; not so many deciduous trees in Alberta.

I’m actually driving all the way through western Canada… so except videos from Banff, further west on the TCH, the Coq, Vancouver, Sea to Sky, etc!

I believe AB 2/Deerfoot Trail is Calgary's busiest freeway.
It appears the section of Deerfoot at Glenmore trail is the busiest section of freeway in the entire province of Alberta.
