Twisted Tales was how I first saw Felix. After that, my parents told me about the 60's cartoon where a lot of the characters from the game are from and that cartoon was pretty cool. I never saw any of the original Felix cartoons but I need to fix that, because if they're from the silent era, then they're going to be very interesting. Back then, just them moving around was a novelty enough that no plots were really needed.
Loved the NES version of this back in the day. Of course, I also loved that absolutely weird Felix the Cat movie you mentioned that came out around the same time. Even if it had just the jankiest animation and weirdly dark fantasy elements and robot soldiers (it actually kinda reminds me of Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM), but to be fair, I think I only even gave the movie a chance BECAUSE of Hudson Soft's fun little sidescroller. Great, speedy playthrough through this one - it may be bite-sized but it sure is an enjoyable little gem!
I remember the NES version, but I’ve never seen a Game Boy version before. The Game Boy version looks like the 1920’s version of Felix in early black & white shorts.
Man, you crushed this one. This one feels like the more difficult version of the game between this and the NES version. Can't get as many lives here, and the jumping feels a lot more stiff. Also, there was more to the ending in the NES version, but they couldn't replicate it all here for some reason, hence why the ending is as weird as it is.
The first platformer game I ever finished! It's so nostalgic

Intetesting. This looks like the shorter and even easier version of its NES counterpart, although the tank is slow and janky here.
