Domaine Faiveley, Gevrey Chambertin, Les Cazetiers

Jérome Flous describes this premier cru, among the finest in Gevrey. In 2013 Domaine Faiveley doubled their land holding here acquiring a large 2.12 hectare parcel in the lower part of the vineyard which has changed the style of the wine. The higher historic part with its cooler situation and limestone soil is now complemented by the deeper, richer wine of the more clay based lower section making a more complete wine.
