I can't stop watching this video, I fell in love with this modern filipiniana I wonder how much it would cost me if you'd make me one, just like this... Such gifted hands ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for detailed explanation. I’m foreigner and my husband is Filipino. I was thinking to make filipiniana dress for my daughter, but didn’t know how to make this puffy sleeves. Your tutorial video was very helpful🙏😊

thank you for this!!! I am also a filipina trying to learn how to sew my own clothes and I want to make a filipiniana :) Is there another way to draft the pieces for the bodice if you don't have a mannequin? also, how did you learn how to add boning?
Hi Jayjay! sorry for the late reply. I got most of my sewing supplies (mats, etc.) from local sewing shops. If you're from NZ I would recommend DirectSewing :)
Hi! I added a couple snaps on the dress and the sleeves. Add as much as you feel it needs to stay up. But I do recommend to have the sleeves be attached to a bodice armhole so it really stays up. Hope this helps 🥰

Hello, what is the material you used on sleeves to make it stand and firm?
I used a fusible interfacing. I would suggest medium weight so it's stiff but also easy to work with 😊
What is the fabric used in your terno?
I used silk and embroidered fabric. But medium-heavy weight interfacing is what made it stand/structured 😊
Please make a video about tools like the mat and stuff and where and how much youve got them
