Has anyone else read Follett's older work? I was introduced to him through the kingsbridge series, then went on to read the "Century trilogy" . Enjoyed them all immensely. I spend much of my summers in remote camps and have plenty of time to read, so I hit up the used-book store and picked up 8-10 older Follett novels. It's quite difficult to believe the same person wrote "Hammer of Eden" !? I understand that writers mature, but some of his older stuff was simply horrendous??
Great interview, thanks. One of my favorite authors since the 1970s. I also read Taylor Caldwell who writes books on America and discribes people, places and things. When I read that what intrigues leaning about who, what and where.

I immediately thought of Ken and his novel pillars of the earth on the news of Notre Dame maybe he will write another .
Brilliant novel
The sound level is much too low on this recording. Waterstones, this is pathetic!
