Another Medium is such a soothing-yet-tense tune that brings back memories of older RPGs. As far as non-boss themes go, this is one of my favorites from the game. Half the song felt meant for vocals, and the other half felt...well...like it was never meant to be sung :P No worries though, I've done so many video game songs at this point that I'm used to encountering crazy obstacles while recording these!

People need to ignore the fact that Smooth is doing a lot of Undertale songs and just listen to how fuckin awesome they are.

Undertale has really good soundtrack, but after listening to it for over 5 Months... it kinda gets a little annoying imo ;P

Seriously though, if I ever had a choice I'd say he should do the "Battle Theme" of the Game "Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals" or any other from it, there's so many good Songs in this old Masterpiece :3

Yes I would. I love Super Metroid's OST, But I'd want at most 2 songs at once, not an onslaught of the same thing with only 1-2 different songs in the mix.
Undertale is one of my favorite games and getting about 10 tracks from it in a row is still excessive

Of all the Undertale songs, I actually think this is probably the most interesting to see acappella :)

In my opinion, this Acapella is even better than "Megalovania" for example, which is my favorite songin Undertale. (I know I couldn't run away from the hype on this song but it's just perfect :0 ).
The high notes are beautiful, and I really love that he's so into it in the lower middle left window.

I'm one of the people that's been complaining about all the Undertale but holy shit. I've never even played the game and this is one of those rare tracks that I like on the first listen. This might even make me want to play the game. If the game is as good as the soundtrack I'm in for a treat.

That depend. I wouldn't recommend if you're not those kind of person that will invest in the story of the game and just go for gameplay. Not to say the gameplay is bad, it's solid, but the game is famed for the way he handle story telling(also music).
+Dick Wallace Disregard the hype and consider one main thing : Do you like the genre? People forget to consider this. It's a NES era retro-styled RPG, so the graphics aren't the sharpest and the gameplay is lacking, but if you can let yourself immerse in a simplistic storyline and let the characters sink their hooks into you, you'll probably like it. I loved it, but I went in expecting nothing and was totally cool with being told a story with occasional twists and adorably childish characters. It's kinda like... well... it's like one of those children's stories that is secretly kinda grim.
When in doubt, steam refunds. Go in blind, take your time, check every corner and interaction, savour it like a vintage fart. \:3/

The way Smooth does those beautiful chorus voices in that upper range is godly. Plus, with all the varied percussion that he recreates, it comes out so perfect!

It sounds to me like he did the key change with half of his voices a measure early. This is one of my favorite songs from Undertale, and while the rest of the song kicks ass, the beginning is... weird.

This is beautiful. I think this is one of my favourites Undertale soundtracks. I don't have "THE" favourite because entire ost is masterpiece and one doesn't simply pick one.
I have to say, Smooth, that this song and your a capella were a perfect match. I feel varied ranges gave this some damn good depth. Keep up the great work!

agreed. Two incredibly emotional songs, he would definitely do them both justice. Hopes and dreams is emotional but hype building as well, whereas the main theme and what goes on during when you hear it just builds a strong connection to other emotions. I would vote for the main theme.
