Yes so the basking spot is 32, then a cooler spot for a temperature gradient. Desert species don't live in continuous heat, it gets much cooler at night and they also don't bask all day, so they have to be able to get away from the heat. The ambient temperature of the enclosure simulates their natural environment as well. Hope that helps.

ok good guide but the temperatures got me confused if they are desert lizards shouldnt they have higher temps. or is that an in between heat
