Thank you, very useful tutorial, but I can't seem to understand how it actually works if I want to use it with a halogen bulb for example. Assuming I have the same settings as you - during the day I guess it will dim the bulb (reduce electrical current) in order to prevent overheating and at night setting will it switch it off completely (acting as on/off switch) or it will simply dim it and letting it fall naturally to what we've set? In a nutshell I'm looking for a dimmable thermostat at day that can fully switch off at night, is it possible with this product or I need to link with a separate timer?

Ficus pumila is a great addition to any tank. Sure, it can take over, so to speak, but it can also be trimmed, or removed altogether, if one prefers. The more advanced option, as it's sometimes said, is the oak leaf ficus, Ficus pumila quercifolia. Smaller "oakish" shaped leaves, slower growing, gorgeous plant. Great build, awesome content. Always up for a dart frog viv tutorial.

Remember to keep water standing in the axil of your bromeliad at all times. The axil is the center cavity
