Glad to see someone show the real side of cattle farming. It’s not all sunshine and pay checks! A lot of work goes into this.
Yes that’s for sure!
I see your new puppy certainly keeps Callie well exercised !! Or is it the other way around ?
Ha, Ha !!
I'm sure you've trained your dogs to keep well clear of the tractors and/or their wheels !! We certainly don't want any accidents !!
Well I have seen the sunshine but I sure as heck not seen the pay checks
Love watching your daily farm chores you have a very compassionate heart. Being a city gal you've opened up a whole new world for me. I'm 83 years old channel very informative. Thank you so much for sharing.
Something to think about: I never leave a question mark underground. It ALWAYS comes back to haunt me just a matter of when. I watch all you post and appreciate the effort.
You clearly and consistently have the best intro for your videos.
Lot's of dirty work today, Tide should realy consider your channel as a sponsor.
Or a wash machine company. I’m sure his gets a huge workout!
Cali and Bellie must sleep very well through the night and have big appetites. Such awesome dogs.
Keep Rocking Tyler. Always so Comforting seeing u make things Better, luv it!
It is so enjoyable to watch the dogs playing
Your quality assurance team will never fail😅
It is so great to see Belly transforming into a companion dog as well as a farm dog. Of course se has Cali as a mentor. I am sure they sleep well at night because of all the running around they do.
Things are looking great. Keep up the great work. Hopefully you get some rain to get the seeds started.
It's clear to see how all the improvements/changes you've made to your farm property within the last year or two have unquestionably made operation far better for you. Thank you for sharing all you do I find it fascinating! Hats off to you, sir 🙇♀️
Yuuup, keep up the great work, Tyler !!
Good tip about how to hold the steering wheel of an old tractor without power steering.
Tyler,
I shared my are you being willing to clean up that pipe, mash and all of those posts that needed to be polled out in amongst all the muddy muddy mess. I’m like you I do not like to dig in the mud because it is so much heavier and nor do I like getting it all over my boots and clothes because it’s just that much harder to walk with the weight of the mud but also it can sustain your clothes.
Once again, I was very proud of you to see how much of the stuff you picked up from that mud hole, that you were willing to store up in the barn and re-purposed or reuse at a later date. A lot of people would’ve just sold it for metal scrapping or Tossed it all together at the city dump. You have learned very well from your grandparents and parents and it’s obvious you have a great value system Tyler.!❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Another thing that is obvious on this video is the Bellie is becoming more comfortable with her surroundings as well as playing with Callie❣️ she doesn’t seem to check her out quite as easily as she did when she was a little younger and I’m wondering if Callie gets exhausted from playing with her. They make good companions for each other❤❤
Another great video Tyler ❣️😊❣️😊❣️😊
I have never seen a slip coupler. How ingenious! Such a needed invention!!! I guess you can tell that I need to get out into the world more.😂. Thanks so very much for taking us along on another great adventure of FTR. ❤
Seeing Callie and Bella playing makes my heart happy!! I love seeing both of them, can't imagine the love that you and your family have for both of them!!
Happy dogs, precious. .
Barn cats are very valuable
Good Afternoon, Tyler, Callie and Belly! Feed those poor hungry calves! Great Video! Thank-you! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!
Thanks for the video on pipe repair. The hay bales are being used at a scary rate; at least 'til calves go to the sale barn. Great advice on steering an old 8N! There are still a lot of them around here in the Midwest.
Some years ago, and for a short time, I was a bus driver and that was one of the things they teach you about steering the bus. They say hand over hand and keeping your thumb out of the middle so as not to get jerked around by accident.
I never knew!
Keeping ur thumbs out of the middle of the wheel. Glad ur holding onto that teaching. Lol
I just love it when Ppl work more safely
Being a retired health care worker
Always always
Go w safety first in doing the job
@@beckygreathouse2660 well, it’s because buses have such large steering wheels most have some power-steering now, but you still have to be careful. It’s not so much with a car though.
Enjoyed the video. Ugh, no one likes messy work. Glad it wasn’t a bigger mess. Hope you’re getting the rain you needed. It’s starting to snow here in New York State. Looks like just flurries, I’m sure there a lot more north of here, I’m in the lower part of the state. I love watching it snow it is very peaceful. Hope everyone is driving safely though. Have a great day looking forward to your next video.

Hopefully your pipe repair will last. I continue to be impressed by that old tractor. Such a workhorse! Buddy! First for the new bale but wrong way. Didn’t take him long to correct that. 😂 Enjoyed the video.
Hi Tyler the work is never done 12-7-2023👍🏽👍🏽
Cool video Tyler glad to see you finish your job for the day before the rain nothing worse than working in the rain thank you for sharing blessings to you and your family
I love Buddy, Cali, and Belly!💜
That was definitely not a cat. I had never seen that fitting you used to repair your water line. Will definitely get one to have on hand. Thanks. We certainly got more rain than that last night.
Kind of sad seeing that front row of hay all gone. Buddy got confused but as soon as he figured it out he kicked up his hooves and took off to get close to the first one there.
Hope you got the rain you needed.
Curious do you ever get snow in your area?
Have a great day.
Sorry about your broken pipe. There is always some thing to do. God bless you and your family.
Good morning or evening. I will be waiting every time for the next video to come up.Good luck and God bless from across the pond in Great Britain
Thank you I appreciate that!
I have 2 cats in my apt. And the other day I woke up to some weird meows. Come to find out my one cat caught and killed a mouse. He was playing with it for a few hours. Flinging it across the room. Batting at it. Rolling around on the floor. I told my cat TARIK if you eat the mouse don't let me see it. A few hours later it was gone.
I like how you explain why you do what you’re doing. I like that trail cam to see what’s lurking in your hay barn. Callie really looks up to you, like what are we going to do now. Another interesting video
Great video! Do the calves eat 2 round bales a day? Glad that water pipe held. Working with mud is a pain. I had rats in my hay this summer, than a bull snake moved in and took care of them all. 😂
There is something very soul satisficing about working with animals and the earth and having a tidy yard. Good on ya FTR
Bellie sure is getting big fast! She did well on the down stay!
Great to see your improvements every day , Tyler you are going to develop a great farm
Love your vids FT, always so much accomplished! Loved watching Callie in the mud and good time had by the puppies for sure. Wonderful as always! God’s blessings!❤❤❤
In wet environments we use compression fittings to repair PVC
TOTALLY ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO TYLER 😊
I'm going to miss Belli's folded ears. So cute
Thanks for sharing farmer tyler ranch I enjoyed the video and I hope you have a great day
That hay is going down quickly! It takes a lot to feed those cows every day. I hope you get the rain that you need.
Belly’s starting to grow into her ears 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
Cali looked so excited to see you were finally building her a duck pond.... until.... you weren't
😂
Love to watch Belly follow Callie - Callie the Mento!!
You have nice cows 🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃🐃and calefs and bulls and pigs and chickens and dogsh i like your cows a lot have fun
Another great video.!
For the plumbing repair - SHARK BITE TAPE for peace of mind.
Make sure you get the higher rated for freeze areas.-KJ
Saw XYL walking your kids. We need to see more of them, this holiday season.
I need to learn about that finger snaping trick.
Love the two helpers.
Now you may have thought of this, but if future water stands around the old riser hydrant. It may be a draw for cows to drank or stand with heavy feet on it.
You’ve come a long way in cleaning up the farm. it will make your work so much easier
You have your own Millenial Farmer(if you watch his channel) dogs now, thats funny. We used to have an old allis Chalmers tractor with a front crank start(had electric), but we used for pushing snow so battery was always dead. My dad taught me the same way you were taught how to hold the steering wheel, never wrap your thumb around it. The kick back on those crank starts was quite hard.
Thank you for the video always enjoy hanging out with you
Ugh, that was nasty! But those sweet pups were a joy to watch!! And Buddy trying to catch up😂😂😂
When you opened the gate to feed the cows was that Buddy in front?
Yes
Is that the old tractor you renovated? It sure runs good, at least on videos!
The puppy is getting fast!I am trying a different approach to mice this year. I saw a guy on UA-cam that mixes “Jiffy HONEY cornbread mix with baking soda” he said the honey works the best. About a 1-1 ratio The sweetness attracts them they eat it and according to him” rats and mice can’t fart or burp”, there stomach acids work like adding vinegar and baking soda together. They go into there nest and no. Ore rats or mice. I have a bad time with them getting into the equipment when it is stored. If the equipment isn’t running the the mice are building a nest.
love your channel!
Mud-UG!! Makes me dislike spring the most because the frost heave = ‘soupy’ mud you sink into 😳😖! I like fall best; firm mud, cooler and fewer bugs later. The leaves’ colors are nice, but I’m not much of a fan of deep litter on my lawn! Happily, just 3 big cottonwoods by the pond; rest is ‘open’😉👍!
I hope you get the rain you need! My area has some drought, but not super bad. Grass had gone dormant, but it’s been mild with some small snowfalls, so it’s gotten a little green again. I’m glad the mowing season has ended; I rather like mowing, but by the end of the season, I’m ready for the break! I think I mow about 1 acre; I use a zero turn because the other rider bothers my hips. It was an excellent investment! Hiring it done feels like money down a hole 😵💫! At least I have the equity of the mower this way 😉!
Another commenter said put a trail camera on the trap to see what it’s counting and what’s happening to the critters. Sounds like a plan to me 🤪! Take care and stay healthy; Covid is making the rounds again 😠! It ‘bit’ Bobby Lee at Hurricane Creek last week…ug! ❤
The trail cam footage is a nice addition. Glad those rodents aren't going to waste.
Love the Specks sound in the background, great video bud
Good job but I would love to see u do a goose hunt with your dogs have a good day .
Love the new quick attach!
How about making quick itch for front end of loader for changing attachments. Good video
Tyler, I’ve got a question I’ve been wanting to ask for a while now. I know from watching the past few years that you irrigate your pastures by flooding your pastures which are obviously grade towards the opposite end of the field. Having experience in Southeast Missouri, I am familiar with center pivot type irrigation and some flood type irrigation in the rice fields. My question is are you on a water district? I’m assuming you are considering the amount of water you use for irrigation and watering livestock.
If I remember right he said once he was on a well
Good update, good post!
Depends how much pressure is in the pipe
I would hate to do your laundry😂😂😂
Maybe put a trail cam on that Good Nature trap
Put the trail camera where you can see the good nature trap so we can see what they’re doing
💖💖💖💖💖
Fill the hole with sand not mud belly looks nice.
5:33 do you mark this location, some how! A pin on your phone or some farm app location marker, of course the cow would mess with any physical marker
How far do you live from the ranch?
Boy the pigs are looking good
Hey did the calf live that you pulled? The blk calf with a Hereford looking mom. He could not stand
Do you think that the trap is worth the cost? Unsure if you bought yours or got it as promo.
Put the camera on the trap so you can see what happens when it goes off. Inquiring minds...
Wat is the market like for baby beef , you sure do have some great looking animals. could save on some feed this year.
Do you feed your pigs free choice feed or twice a day - and why
The one cat got the mouse
Where is the other ford tractor you was working on
You have cows they tear up anything smell water.dont matter you have a nice clean water trough they would still drink out off dirty water 😊😊😊😊😊
👍👍❤🐂🎄
Haha, those calves are always getting into trouble. Like teenagers, I guess.
Feed those cows
Rats and mice will drag off and eat their own as well.
LoL, now you're just showing off with the edits.
Did you see the coyote on the video?
Coyote? Really? Timestamp?
I watched the video again and didn’t see anything other than a cat carrying a mouse. I’d be interested to know what the timestamp is on that.
Why don't you take out the hay in the lower section first
You will!
See more of us, I mean. Another Hubby, Me lunch date with FTR%
They can make a mess
Weasel!!!
That wasn't a cat. Large rodent maybe.
